J&K Sigma Group Electrical

J&K Sigma Group Electrical takes care of electrical work around McKinney, Texas. The outfit is family owned and operated by a local veteran with 27 years on the job who holds Tesla certification. They put in and fix every kind of EV charger from small home units up to bigger setups, along with Tesla wall connectors, NEMA 14-50 receptacles, and other brands like Chargepoint and Juicebox. Panel replacements and upgrades, custom indoor and outdoor lighting, whole home surge protection, diagnostic repairs, and backup generator installs round out what they handle.

Homeowners bring them in for Tesla charger work in garages where Jeff runs the cable, mounts the unit, and finishes without mess. He has also hung showroom fixtures that needed extra assembly, put in ceiling fans and LED spotlights with dimmers, added outlets for vehicles, mounted ring cameras and projectors with new HDMI runs, and replaced plugs. In one job he opened the panel during an install, checked every circuit for tightness and code compliance, and fixed issues on defective chargers by updating firmware on replacements.

Jeff answers calls fast and often arrives the next day. He keeps customers updated on his arrival time, shows up on schedule even on weekends, and talks through each step of the work. Rates stay reasonable with clear numbers up front and no added charges later. The crew works around the clock every day of the week and leaves the site clean after each visit.

They carry a five star rating from 108 reviews. Reviewers note the clean results on charger and outlet jobs, the clear explanations during the work, and the honest approach to pricing.

“Jeff did an awesome job hanging a fixture for us. It was a showroom fixture and he had to do a lot of extra work to get it to go together. He was very meticulous in his work and went the extra mile to make certain everything was perfect. His rates are very reasonable and we highly recommend him!”

“Jeff is great! I highly recommend him for anyone that needs electrical work done. I hired him to install my EV charger in my garage. He is a true professional - he holds himself to high quality standards and makes sure to leave the work area clean. He is also very honest. I was quite interested in learning more about the installation process and electrical work in general. Jeff was kind enough to let me shadow him and he also educated me on a lot of electrical work. As he had the panel out he inspected the whole panel to make sure all of the circuits were tight and up to code. I felt peace as I was not sure of the builders work, he assured me what he has seen is good quality. I’m extremely happy with his work and happy to finally have found an electrician I can trust. I will be using him for any future projects.”

They were easy to get in touch with, showed up on time, and took the time to explain what was going on and what the fix would involve before getting started. The work itself was excellent, clean, careful, and clearly done by someone who knows what they’re doing. No mess left behind, no shortcuts taken. They were also upfront about pricing, so there were no surprises on the bill. It’s rare to find a tradesperson who’s both skilled and a genuinely good communicator. I’d recommend them without hesitation and won’t hesitate to call them again for any future electrical work!”

“I had a great experience working with Jeff. He installed a NEMA 6-50 outlet about 30ft away from my breaker in my garage. This involved running cable through the ceiling. Jeff is friendly and fairly priced. My Tesla is charging up with no problems. Thanks Jeff! 👊🏼”

“Wow, I had such a great experience working with Jeff. Good people to do any kind of work are hard to come by these days, but Jeff gives me hope that there are still some out there. He put in 6 LED spotlights in my bedroom with dimmer switch, 1 smart LED spot light over the fireplace with switch and an outlet in my bathroom all in one day! Jeff is professional, friendly, responsive, respectful of my home (he took his shoes off!), clean, and reasonably priced. I was quoted more than double from another company for the same work that Jeff did, and he did a fabulous job. I’ve been recommending him to all of my friends in the area, and I will be having him come back for ALL of my future electrical needs.”

“Jeff came out and installed a new outlet for my EV vehicle and was an absolutely pleasure to work with. There wound up being an issue with my charger and Jeff came back on a Saturday morning to make sure all the electrical components were in order so I’d be able to show the dealership the issue was the charger. He stayed in constant communication and went above and beyond to help us resolve this even though the issue has nothing to do with his work. Highly recommend!!”
