Big Pig Smart Lighting LLC

Big Pig Smart Lighting LLC runs as electricians out of Mesa, Texas, with a focus on permanent smart lighting installs for homes and businesses. They handle app-controlled systems that let owners tweak colors and brightness from a phone without extra wiring hassles. The work includes residential setups, commercial properties, accent lights, holiday outdoor displays, under-eave mounting, outdoor security options, and mood lighting. Texas weather brings intense heat and sudden storms that knock out standard fixtures fast, so these electricians build sturdy outdoor runs that stand up to the elements and cut down on repeat calls from homeowners dealing with faded or broken lights every season.

They show up for site checks, run custom wire paths under eaves or along gutters, and set up the controls for easy use year round. Jobs often cover adding security lights around yards to handle dark nights in the area, switching out old holiday strings for permanent ones that change colors on demand, or fitting accent and mood lights inside garages and patios. Now they also handle seamless gutter installs tied into the lighting work. In Mesa the summer sun beats down on roofs and walls, so electricians like these keep busy fixing shorts from water intrusion after rains and putting in reliable outdoor security and accent runs that homeowners need to keep properties safe and visible without constant bulb swaps.

Customers note the crews finish jobs on time with solid results that hold through local weather swings, keep costs in line for the scale of work, and explain options clearly before starting. This approach shows up in repeat calls for bigger projects like full yard security upgrades or commercial accent lighting over time. The high marks come from consistent attention to quality on every install and straightforward talks about what gets done and how long it takes. DIRT Score 4.96 from 356 reviews on Finds.

“From the beginning the process was simple and impressive. I reached out to a couple different companies for quotes and Big Pig was our first meeting. Mikah was out the next day and got us set up with a plan that worked perfectly! We were so excited for the next step of the install. We waited around a month to get that setup, which seemed like forever. But they order custom tracks that match the trim nearly perfect so time well waited. Today our installer Alex was here exactly on time. And get everything set up exactly how we wanted. Love that he was able to paint the wires with our house paint so it all blends so perfectly. Once he got everything setup he walked me through the app step by step. And we appreciate the customer service and reliability of this company! Plus the lights are perf”

“Chase our technician arrived on time with everything he needed to complete the job. Once done, he went through the program and made sure we knew how to use it. Looking forward to no more ladders and being able to program lights for special holidays.”

“Absolutely love my lights! Makai and Marcus got this done for me exactly the way I envisioned it. In full transparency there were some parts of the install that didn’t go to plan! I communicated this with the team at Big Pig and they made it right! The functionality of the lights are simple enough to use but detailed enough to be able to customize literally every detail across every bulb. Pricing was fair and pretty much what I expected to pay for high quality lighting. I would recommend them to anyone I know! Thank you very much Big Pig! We were the talk of the neighborhood this Halloween. **update, customer service completely non existent. I get that it’s a local exterior lighting company, not like some huge chain. I guess that’s why you would assume customer service would be a bit mo”

“We had contemplated getting permanent lighting for well over a year! We had spoken to a couple different companies and were referred to Big Pig Lighting by a neighbor! We met with Mikah and he gave us a great presentation on not only their products but on their company too! He followed up with me often and was very patient with us through the process of making a decision! Our connection to Mikah made our decision very simple! We knew the product was good and the company was solid! They did not disappoint! Their app has a ton of preloaded options and it’s very simple and easy to use! We LOVE our lighting and are super thrilled with our decision and that we no longer have to get on a ladder! LOL!”

“Great team to work with. Dom, Marcus, Landon, and Vina were all great to work with. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, and ensured everything was set up properly. Communication was great, even after the installation. The lights look amazing and I’m happy I chose Big Pig. Thank you for your help!”

“The whole experience from start to finish was a great. Very professional and courteous. When they came out to do the estimate everything was explained in full detail with no pressure to buy. They are busy this time of year so it may take a little while for the install, but it is well worth the wait. Install was seamless and within HOA guidelines for our neighborhood. There is a great app for your phone that will run the entire system with many options for you to choose from. The installer showed us many features on the app but there is a tutorial video to help guide you. We're very happy with Big Pig Lighting and got everything we wanted at a fair price. Give them a call and see what they can do for you. Thanks Again!”
