“We called Handy AC and heating to schedule an appointment because our system was not cooling Their team was very responsive. James the technician came out and quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. The AC was back up and running in no time. We appreciate the fact he did not pressure us to buy a “new” system. It reminded me of the good old-fashioned quality customer service. The pricing was very fair and reasonable !!! My wife and I highly recommend them!”

“This is by far the best, most transparent, and most ethical AC/electrical company I’ve encountered. After my AC suddenly started not turning on, I originally called a different company to come out and inspect the AC. They left having quoted me over $20k for a full HVAC/furnace and electrical panel replacement and made me think I had serious issues. I called Handy Electric for another opinion. James came out and fully inspected my electrical panel and AC unit. He let me know I had a simple breaker issue and that the AC unit appeared to be working fine. However, within a few days, I noticed that the AC unit was still having issues (different from the first). James promptly came out to have another detailed look on a Sunday, but he already suspected the problem due to the age of the unit. He found that the capacitor could be contributing to the problem and recommended a simple switch. James prioritized fixing my situation in the most cost effective and lasting way— not trying to upsell me to replace a unit that was just having small and very fixable maintenance issues. He also didn’t oversell at any point - promptly resolving the two separate issues as they arose, not recommending an excessive amount of “preventative” maintenance. Pricing was great for the level of service and expertise provided. I was very stressed at the thought at suddenly having to spend so much money for a complete replacement — and thinking my electrical panel was bad. James was very thorough, detailed with his inspections, patient, clear with his explanations, very easy to get ahold of, and a pleasure to work with.
