What Customers Say
“Thank you for the free Friday afternoon DCFC charge, cup of coffee and 2023 calendar on February 24 and a second DCFC charge on Saturday February 25. I came up from Rosharon for a weekend at Texas Independence festivities in Washington-on-the-Brazos and MidSouth was a great bonus...TWICE!!! On Saturday, I saw "my" previous two cars charging in your lot (a 2018 white Volt and a 2020 red Bolt). What are the odds of that???”
“New location and even drive thru paying your bill. I went inside to recycle my light bulbs. She told me they don't do that anymore. They should take that off their website. Otherwise very nice employee inside. But confusing which door to enter. And they installed the handicapped parking at the employee only entrance. None for customers. One should be put in front of door on customers side entrance of customers building. Otherwise if not, making it further to travel and park for handicapped customers to go into customers side of the building. Mark clearly which building is for customers only, and the other building for employees. Also, mark large and clearly the entrance from the feeder road into the driveway.”
“I have noticed some mom's are not happy with this co-op. When my kids were little we started using E-Pay from our bank account. Lived in this co-op area since 1989 ish. One month I got a notice on Friday saying it would be cut off at 5. I had to drive into Bryan-College Station get cash and drive to NAVASOTA, TX and get there before closing. I had two small children and would have to wait over the weekend with no power. Off I went. Paid and told them I stopped payment on the E-check from the bank. About 3 months later I get a nasty letter saying my check was bad and I was not a good customer. It was the lost check that finally made it to them. I am not a fan but this is where we bought land and someday I will not need them anymore because I will be off grid! I did talk to a very nice lady on the phone today. That was a first.”
“Watch for these guys - Don't sign any electrical line easements when you are in need of any of their services until you talk to your attorneys. If and when you sign it, they will take over your surface right 100% . With Fusion Entergy, Low Orbit Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), Decentralized Data Centers, Edge Compute with Edge Analytics, Super AI, and many other Scientific Revolution technologies to function, having Real Estate is now their main KEY. Going forward - Mid-South Enterprises (MONOPOLY) services are their secondary business. Their business model going forward is to obtaining Real Estate. For all these technologies to function they must have Real Estate. This is when Mid-South Enterprises takes over our land, our children’s land, and members land for free. Now, your job, Chairman and Commissioners is to protect the unprotect. If we don’t do anything, we all fail. This is not a Grimes County issue only, but rather it is a statewide issue. We can take the easy way out or roll up our sleeves and fix these crimes to the people of Grimes County These practices by Mid-South COOP of deceptively convincing the landowners to agree to unfair and abusive Easements and Right-Of-Way terms, or systematically deceiving the user’s understanding the Easements and Right-of-Ways that make it difficult for the landowner to defend against them. Mid-South COOP was tricking the landowners on what they were signing as a simple power line Easement/Right-of-Way, when in fact it is all about Telecommunication Broadband Services. So they can sell or lease as they wish for an indefinite time and a huge financial gain for a NON-profit organization.”
“We stopped here to charge on our way back home from a trip. This location is conveniently located just off of Highway 6. We added 180 miles in 80 minutes. Thank you Midsouth Electric for the free charge.”
