“Contacted Techline in January 2023 for estimate on replacement of shingled hip roof with metal. Patrick, salesperson representing Techline did site roof measurements and went over color details. During our survey I asked Patrick about existing gutters and ridge vent air flow quality. He assured me that both gutters and installed cap would be equal to existing vents. Installers came over around the second week of February. They informed me gutters would not work with install and had to be replaced so we were out another thousand dollars. Throughout the summer months the house attic did not vent properly. We decided to address issue in 2024 and called Patrick for suggestions. He recommended cutting holes in the roof and installing stativents. We were apprehensive about this idea so contacted several other companies. We had several contractors suggesting the same idea but finally had someone inspect roof cap vents and discovered they provided no circulation. They came over in March 2025 and removed caps and installed snap z standing metal roof ridge vents. Attached photo of original vent material. Techline management addressed my issues and were resolved.”
