Coast Electric

Coast Electric works as a licensed electrician based in Newport Beach, serving the Southern California area from a central location in Orange County. They focus on electrical contracting for general contractors along with commercial and industrial clients throughout the region. The company has earned respect by delivering consistent workmanship on projects of various sizes while maintaining clear integrity in how they handle each job. Homeowners and businesses in this coastal spot often deal with salt air that can corrode wiring and equipment over time, so having a reliable crew that understands these local conditions matters when keeping power systems running without constant breakdowns.

Their work covers installing and upgrading electrical panels, running new circuits for added loads, troubleshooting faults in older buildings, and handling outdoor setups that stand up to weather exposure near the water. In Newport Beach the mix of residential properties and commercial sites means jobs often involve rewiring homes affected by humidity or reinforcing systems in shops and offices to meet heavier demands. Crews respond to outages, replace damaged outlets and switches, and set up safe lighting for parking areas or yards where corrosion from sea air speeds up wear. They keep projects moving by showing up prepared with the right materials and finishing the work so it passes inspection without extra callbacks or added costs that catch people off guard.

Customers in the area note solid results on speed when urgent repairs come up, quality that holds after the initial fix, fair pricing that avoids surprise markups, and direct communication that keeps everyone informed on timelines and options. These points add up across the feedback received so far and show why the company maintains steady demand for both quick service calls and larger installations. “Matt and team came out during a recent remodel and were tasked with first cleaning up a previous electrician's questionable work that did not pass inspection. They were wonderful and provided confidence that everything was correct, safe and ready to move forward. They are professional and were able to provide recommendations and solutions for my ideas and other hurdles that were presented. Matt and team take pride in their work, provide clear communication, show up when they say they will and get the job done right.”

“Devon is very professional, kind and easy to work with. Their tech Geraldo shared the same qualities and I truly enjoyed working with them. They were able to replace six light fixtures in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend Newport Coast Electric for all your electrical needs. They are very competitive with pricing as well and you can trust they will do an exceptional job.”

“Best service I’ve had in awhile, got recommended Newport Coast Electric from a family member and was deeply satisfied, Amanda was our point of contact and treated us well and quickly, and our actual service member Tanner was in and out of our home quickly and got everything I needed done much faster than I would have expected. 100% satisfied with the service.”

“Extremely happy with my service call for my heated floors today. Scheduling was very easy, technician showed up on time and was able to complete the service call. I’m very happy.”

“Easy to schedule, were able to get out fairly rushed & did good work; they also didn't mind splitting the scope in half so we could complete the rest later and didn't charge any more for two call outs instead of 1. We had a slight issue with the doorbell after completion, and they were out the next day at 7:30 with one phone call and fixed it right away. Owner Matt seems to care about his customers and business a lot, will definitely use them again in the future.”
