Their install crew was very professional and friendly. I’ve had to call customer service about 2 months ago because the pigeon guard they installed wasn’t guarding the pigeons. The installation itself was completed, but the project has been plagued by poor communication, lack of follow-through, and unnecessary costs caused by Ion Solar’s inaction. Despite multiple phone calls from me reminding Ion Solar that action was required on their end, they allowed the application to expire. As a result, a second application had to be submitted, costing another $250. Our Nevada Energy payments are less than $20 per month even though we have the AC running 24 hrs per day. “Ion Solar has certainly been beneficial for us regarding energy cost. We have had no issues what so ever with service, install or pricing. The only gripe I do have is the critter guard does not carry a warranty. We specifically had this added so that we could keep critters (pigeons in this case) out. Somehow someway they are under my panels now. $250.00 to schedule for a service call to see if there was an installation flaw, or even to repair it is ridiculous to me. Of course it will not be an installation issue. I just want a critter guard that at the minimum carries some sort of warranty.”
