About
Texas Goodlight Electric handles electrical work for homes and properties around Pflugerville, Texas. The crew focuses on the trade of electrician services in this growing area near Austin where new builds mix with older houses. They show up to handle whatever comes up on the job site without extra talk or delays. Homeowners in Pflugerville deal with steady demand for reliable power setups as the weather shifts from hot summers to occasional storms that knock out lines or overload panels.
Electricians from the company take on full rewiring projects in older homes, install new circuits for added rooms or appliances, and fix sudden outages that hit during peak summer heat when air conditioning units pull heavy loads. They trace problems in breaker boxes, replace damaged outlets after storms, and run proper grounding to keep systems safe from the frequent power fluctuations common in central Texas. Customers have noted quick responses to calls about tripped breakers or flickering lights that could point to bigger issues in the wiring. The team works through the job until the power stays steady and the setup meets code without leaving loose ends behind.
Homeowners keep coming back because the work gets done right the first time with clear updates along the way and fair pricing that matches the effort put in. Reviews highlight fast arrival times when issues pop up, solid quality on installations that last, and straightforward communication that avoids surprises on costs. That steady performance across hundreds of jobs builds trust in a trade where mistakes can lead to bigger headaches down the line. DIRT Score 4.63 from 460 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Im a property manager and local realtor. Reliant turned my power off when i had a positive balance . My dog almost died and they kept me on the phone for an hour . Horrible customer service . Run from this company .”
“Worst service. No recomendation. I moved out of the property. Still I was getting bill. I informed them, I'm moving out of the property cancelled the reliant service. But for some reason it was not cancelled. But they charged money. Even I said I can show proof that I moved out of the property from my Apartment Management.”
“I was a customer for 14 years, I was moving to a place where I couldn't transfer my energy. So I needed to cancel with them which I did. They told me all they needed was a forwarding address which I gave them. They said there would be no cancellation fee, and behold they charged me $400 cancellation fee. Then when I tried to get it back .They added steps that I needed to do to avoid the cancellation fee but they did not tell me that. When I originally called they said I was good to go. when I called they proceeded to tell me it would take two billing Cycles to get my money back that they took. that they did not earn or deserve. My advice to you is I would cancel the auto payment because it is a sham they knew what they were doing they even have a email to deal with this because it is a way they can make extra money. If that's the kind of business and that's how they treat somebody who was a loyal customer for 14 years I would definitely stay away.”
“Avoid at all costs! I have been living in my house for 9 years and was perfectly happy with Just Energy. I made the HUGE mistake of looking at one of the many solicitations from Reliant in the mail promising lower rates and a $600 bill credit. I made the switch and my first bill was double the amount of a normal bill with Just Energy. I called Reliant's "customer service" and was told another plan would help. The next month it was the same. $300 when my normal previous bill was around $150. I called again and the barely English speaking rep(apparently the only kind they have) had absolutely no interest in helping me, other than to admit I had been lied to. I decided to cancel and I went back with Just Energy. I got my final bill today for $788! Of course $295 was the cancelation fee. I called Reliant again to speak to a manager to see if the fee could possibly be waived. Again the "manager" was another barely English speaking rep who had absolutely no empathy or customer service skills. She was obviously working from home as I could hear her tv in the background and she sounded half asleep. This was a very expensive lesson. I urge everyone to avoid this company!! I can't wait until they try to solicit me again!”
“Stay away. They kept charging me for disconnection notice, even when paid on time. They admitted the mistake, but couldn't remove it bc "the system won't let them do it more than once a year." Absolute bs. Literally any company would be better.”
