About

On Point Solar Power LLC runs as a local electrician crew based in Phoenix, TX. This family owned outfit is led by Jimmy and Dan, who handle residential electrical work tied to solar power systems. Homeowners in this Texas area face heavy demands from summer heat that strains wiring and panels, plus the need for steady power during storms or outages. The crew focuses on practical installs and fixes that match what houses here actually require, keeping things grounded without pushing unnecessary extras. They draw from hands on knowledge of the local grid and weather patterns to get jobs done right the first time.

Electricians from the company handle solar panel hookups, full home rewiring, and upgrades to handle added loads from air conditioning units that run nonstop in Phoenix summers. They assess existing setups for faults, replace outdated breakers or outlets, and connect new systems so power flows clean and safe. Jobs often involve running lines for rooftop arrays or troubleshooting why a home loses power during peak heat, using basic tools and direct methods that avoid delays. Customers in the area get quotes quick and see work completed with attention to how the dry climate and dust affect connections over time. This approach fits the steady call for reliable electrical help in growing neighborhoods.

Homeowners keep coming back because the crew shows up on time, explains fixes in plain terms, and keeps costs in line with the job at hand without surprise add ons. Reviews point to solid communication on timelines and quality that holds up against the local weather, along with fair pricing for the work completed. The family owned setup with Jimmy and Dan earns nods for treating people straight and delivering results that match expectations on speed and follow through. What Customers Say

“One star is too generous. Terrible experience during and after installation. Poor communication. Permission to operate was finally granted 6 months after they were paid. Now I just had a panel blow off which had not been fastened properly. Equipment was badly damaged. Now they won't return my calls. I did talk to a nice fellow in the Philipines who told me I would have to pay for the repairs and that it would take 4-6 weeks to schedule service. I'm really disappointed and frustrated. One of them is LDS, so I'll be reaching out to his Bishop. Please avoid these guys!”

“I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. Communication has been extremely poor. I asked multiple times for assistance setting up my account and for help tracking my solar production and usage. Months have gone by without any meaningful response or follow-up. I also feel the system I was sold was extremely undersized for my needs, despite their experts advising it was correct (I now pay for the panels and an electricity bill). And the financing was presented in a way that I believe was misleading. While I take responsibility for signing the loan documents, I don’t feel the overall deal was accurately represented during the sales process. Ironically, the only time I’ve received prompt communication is when the company wanted to sell me an additional wall battery. Customer”

“My solar edge inverter stopped working. I contacted the company and their call center is now out sourced. The outsourced company could not even pull up the correct account for me. When I asked to be present for the diagnosis with solar edge. They did everything over chat bot and refused to send me the diagnostics. Then they told me the inverter was bad and I would be sent another one. My system is only 3 years old. When I asked to speak with a field service manager I was told that they were unavailable to speak to me. I was further told that they don't monitor your system, even though by law in the state I live in they have to monitor it for 25 years and provide me with the average for the over 30 days I have been without services. They told me that it is only monitored for a year. The”

“I recently got my solar panels back in October of 2025. Everything is great as far as the panels go so far. But on the sales side I was promised a rebate check after the finance went through like other people in my neighborhood, I’ve been waiting since November for my rebate check and haven’t been able to get a response at all. Seems like everyone has gotten their check but I still haven’t been able to get mine. I need someone to reach out to me about this please”

“Super impressed with Adrain and his crew! They were knowledgeable helpful to each other and worked super hard. As I was listening to them work they were laughing and having a good time working together. No complaining, just a get it done attitude! The day turned out a be a hot one 90 degrees and I again was impressed to how fast the installation took right at 4 hours and that was 29 solar panels with the other equipment they installed. Adrain told me it would be around 4 hours and he was right on. Once the crew buttoned up and were getting on there way, Adrain stayed and explained to me on all the next steps that were to follow. Very informative and professional. Then he asked to walk the site and let him know if there was anything that I was unsatisfied with. I pointed out where the bird ”

“Adrian Ruvalcaba & Rueben Lopez. On point Solar experts. Thank-you for your knowledge and service. They solved my issues when no one else could , I highly recommend them for their skill and commitment to customer service. Update 2/18/2026 . Because my latest experience was positive . I have decided to go with adding Tesla battery power packs to my system.Looking forward to adding another positive review. Thanks on point”

“We chose On Point Solar in April 2025 because their sales team was knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. We even recognized that some of the negative reviews online might have been due to factors outside their control. Unfortunately, our experience highlights serious issues that are 100% within their control, and it’s important for future customers to know. While installation happened quickly, the system has never worked. It failed multiple City of Phoenix inspections, and despite repeated promises, no technician ever came out to fix the issues or be present during re-inspections to address them. Now, six months later, we’ve been told the battery is not functioning, yet no one from On Point has been on-site for weeks and there’s been zero proactive communication or clear timeline for repai”

“I do not recommend this solar company. I’ve been having so many issues. Electrical problems on my roof started leaking and they haven’t even fixed the electrical Problem. God and your bill doesn’t go down as they say and they don’t finish the work on time. I’m still waiting for them to do my carport roof and insulation in the attic. It’s been almost a year. and I am already making payments and the job is not even done. So they don’t finish the job and they start charging you and the Salmen said that I would be charged 90 days after the thing was already working, and they took almost a year for the system to start working.”

“I inherited an OnPoint installed hybrid system with my new house. I've been calling and texting for weeks and still no closer to getting the issue with my battery resolved. They quoted me $149 (refundable if its their fault) to come out and they still haven't provided me schedule options a week later. LG (battery manufacturer) won't talk to anyone but an official installer, so I am likely going to have to find somebody competent just to talk to LG for me. I'm an electrical engineer so I'm completely capable of doing all this myself - the problem is I'm not allowed, even after downloading all the stupid cloud-connected apps, there are still restrictions on both the inverter (solaredge), plant controller (solaredge), and LG battery sides. Everyone is at fault here. Do a self-installed SMA ”

“Complete installation took less than half a day! Work was very professional and clean. Saving good money, especially in this Arizona desert heat. We highly recommend this company.”
