Solar Topps LLC

Solar Topps LLC operates as electricians based in Phoenix, TX. Their work centers on solar panel setups and home storage battery systems that require careful electrical integration from start to finish. Active since 2009, they handle these projects with a warranty covering twenty five years. Phoenix, TX sees extreme summer heat that drives up air conditioning loads and pushes homeowners toward solar additions to manage power costs and outages. Electricians here often deal with panel upgrades, wiring for new equipment, and making sure systems hold up against dust and high temperatures that can wear down standard setups faster than in milder areas. Common calls involve tying renewable sources into existing home circuits without overloading them during peak demand.

Electricians from the company install residential and commercial solar arrays along with battery backup units to keep lights and appliances running when the grid fails. They also handle upgrades to older systems by adding more panels or replacing inverters and monitoring gear that tracks output. In Phoenix, TX weather conditions mean frequent checks for connections loosened by expansion and contraction from heat cycles plus removal and reinstall work when roofs need repairs. Homeowners face issues like outdated wiring that cannot support modern battery storage or commercial buildings needing expanded capacity for added equipment. These tasks include discarding old components safely and ensuring new electrical ties meet local codes so everything runs without tripping breakers during the hottest months.

Customers note consistent results on jobs that keep electrical systems reliable despite the demands of local conditions and praise the balance of solid execution with fair costs and clear updates throughout each project. Speed matters when outages hit or when adding capacity before summer peaks and quality shows in setups that last without repeated fixes. Communication helps homeowners understand options for expansions or replacements without confusion. The overall feedback reflects steady performance across many completed electrical and solar related calls in the area. DIRT Score 4.41 from 254 reviews on Finds.

“Very glad we went with them. Have friends who went with another company and our experience was seamless. My friends not so much. Always available and responsive. Installation was top quality. Passed our city, fire, and SRP inspections first time and they set them all up for us. One Powerwall we got didn't work on activation and the owner was at our house, on the phone with Tesla who authorized a replacement - which was done within 2 hrs of finding out it wasn't working. Nothing but good things to say about them. Definitely recommend.”

“I recently had a solar system, Tesla Powerwall 3 and a new eletrical panel installed on my roof by Solar Topps, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The entire team did an excellent job; every employee I interacted with was professional, skilled, and courteous. What impressed me most was the communication. Solar Topps kept me informed at every single step of the process, navigating the often-complex construction and permitting phases with ease. I never felt left in the dark regarding timelines or inspections. The installation itself was handled efficiently. If you are looking for a solar installer that combines high-quality workmanship with transparent, consistent updates, I highly recommend Solar Topps. They truly made the switch to solar and battery backup a stre”

“From design through installation and post-installation support, the Solar Topps team has been great! Their advice has been excellent and the installation was extremely smooth. I've appreciated the work, the timeliness of response, the quality of product and commitment to me as a customer. Great company to work with.”

“Solar Topps recently (March, 2026) installed a new solar panel/whole home battery backup system on our home. The installation and City/SRP approval process took just three weeks, and went exceedingly smoothly. We're now enjoying our system, and have hardly used any power from SRP at all. Solar Topps communicated regularly with us throughout this process, and was always available right away when we had questions. The bidding process was likewise very smooth, and we contracted with Solar Topps, even though it did not have the lowest bid, because of its professionalism, competence, and candor, as well as its long time in business and our perception that Solar Topps is financially stable and likely to be in business for a long time. We highly recommend Solar Topps as an excellent solar contrac”

“Solar Topps Merry crisply executed the installation of the Tesla powerwall and the solar panels to our complete satisfaction. They communicated with us throughout the entire process, walked us through what they were doing, assisted us and downloading the Tesla app and having it programmed for us. They were on time, professional, competent, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a similar installation.”

“I hired Solar Topps to install some solar panels on my roof in 2025, they did a phenomenal job. Excellent communication and they were very prompt to get things done. They will be my go-to if I ever need solar in the future, I highly recommend them.”

“Great experience with Solar Topps installing 10.4 kW and a Tesla Powerwall 3. From the early sales proposals to the panels going live, their communication was top notch. Between city inspections, APS paperwork and getting equipment installed Solar Topps clearly communicated each step of the way and set clear expectations on timelines. Never realized what a complex space getting solar is. The actual install itself took 3 days (battery, conduit, electrical panel upgrade and solar panels) but the permitting, inspections and approvals were the long haul which took around 90 days - again, I didn't have to do anything. Solar Topps took care of the whole experience. Thanks to Mark, Jesus and the installer team, Raj and Nitish for excellent communication and workmanship. If you're curious about”

“Solar Topps has been great to work with. The communication is outstanding and they deliver on what they say they will do. The tech that was recently out was great as well. We used Titan solar in the past and they were terrible so solar topps has been so wonderful to work with.”

“Great solar company! My installation for my roof top solar complete in 2016-17. Great job then and this year Enphase notified me that wireless gateway for reporting plant status was not reporting plant status and production output (there was no affect to actual production to the grid or for home use). Called Solar Topps support and they worked with me to verify that the gateway had indeed failed and a repair appointment was made to replace it. Service technician was prompt and very knowledgeable regarding the repair. Overall from contacting support to repair work, I am very pleased that I chose Solar Topps for my system and their commitment to long term service and warranty work. I highly recommend this company for anyone desiring a solar plant installation for their home or business.”

“Solar Topps was great to work with! We never felt pressured into something we didn't need. They communicated with us and kept us updated throughout the process. The installation technicians were respectful and always left our property clean. We will definitely recommend them!”
