Gilwee Electric Inc

Gilwee Electric Inc operates as a licensed electrical outfit based in Rancho Cordova and focused on the Greater Sacramento Region. They handle work for both homes and businesses with a straightforward approach to repairs, upgrades, and installations that keep systems running safely. The crew draws from local experience dealing with the demands of the area, including older properties that need updated wiring and newer builds that call for added capacity. Homeowners and property managers in this part of California often face heavy summer loads on air conditioning circuits along with the push toward electric vehicles, so the company stays ready to address those practical needs without unnecessary delays or complications.

Electricians from the company perform standard repairs on faulty outlets and panels, complete full upgrades to meet current codes, and install EV chargers along with standby generators for backup power. They show up with the right tools and parts to diagnose issues quickly, such as overloaded circuits from heat waves or aging service entrances that no longer handle modern appliances. Work on generators includes proper sizing for the property and connection to transfer switches so power stays reliable during outages common in the region. The process stays direct from initial visit through final testing, with attention to leaving the site clean and the system ready for daily use rather than creating extra steps for the customer.

Customers keep coming back because the electricians finish jobs on time, maintain clear communication about what needs fixing and why, and charge rates that reflect solid work without surprises. Reviews highlight consistent quality in both small repairs and larger installs like generators, along with fair pricing that avoids padding for basic electrical tasks. Speed shows up in how quickly they respond to calls about tripped breakers or charger setups, while the overall results hold up under the area's weather and usage patterns. “Chris was great. He came out to the house to evaluate what needed to be done and gave me an accurate bid. He worked smoothly very well with PG&E to get it done quickly. The whole house had to be shut down from PG&E. The work was done in a timely manner and completed within the timeframe that he said it would be. They were personable and honest He replaced the old Zinsco breaker box. It was inside a bedroom closet. He was able to reroute all the wires and put a Beautiful outside breaker box and cover. I feel much safer with the new box and I worry for less about fires I would highly recommend them for your electrical needs”

“After receiving bids from several companies for an electrical project in our home—including the installation of a 240V outlet for an EV charger—we chose this company because we were immediately impressed when the owner came out to review the job. His knowledge and thoughtful suggestions not only saved us money, but also gave us real peace of mind that everything would be done efficiently and correctly. Chris, the owner, truly cares about his clients and went above and beyond every step of the way. One of his electricians, Josh, was just as knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. With so many choices in the greater Sacramento area, it’s rare to find a company that stands out like this. We feel we’ve found a true diamond in the rough and will gladly call on Gilwee Electric for all our future electrical needs. Their pricing is fair, honest, and reasonable.”

“Chris was super responsive, contacting me by phone within a few hours of my online inquiry about the installation of an EV charger at our home. From the moment that we first spoke with him, we knew that he was the perfect fit for us. He presented as friendly, knowledgeable, and invested in supporting our electrical needs while saving us money. His bid came by email within a few hours and was lower than the other two bids we received. He was able to schedule us promptly the following week and was very responsive to multiple email and text inquiries with additional questions. We ended up requesting additional electrical work the day prior to the EV installation and he was able to accommodate and complete the work the next day. Chris and his team, Christopher and Josh, were very friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met. I would highly recommend Gilwee Electric to anyone seeking electrical services.”
