Gubruds Services

Gubruds Services operates as electricians out of Rancho Cordova, TX. They focus on handling electrical repairs and installations for local homes and properties. The crew takes calls for everything from basic fixes to full upgrades, serving the surrounding area without any extra layers of management. Homeowners in this part of Texas deal with intense summer heat that can strain older wiring and cause breakers to trip more often than in milder climates. Gubruds steps in with straightforward work on panels, outlets, and safety checks to keep systems running through those conditions.

Electricians from the company handle jobs like replacing circuit breakers, installing surge protection, adding switches and outlets, and setting up smoke and CO detectors. They also work on ceiling fans, lighting upgrades, and electrical vehicle chargers when homeowners need them. In Rancho Cordova, common calls come after storms knock out power or when old panels can't handle modern loads from air conditioners running nonstop in the heat. The team checks electrical panels for safety, runs inspections, and sorts out issues with outlets that stop working or lights that flicker due to loose connections or overloaded circuits.

Customers keep coming back because the electricians show up on time, explain the fixes in plain terms, and get the job done right the first time without pushing extra costs. Reviews highlight solid work on quality and communication during repairs and installations, along with fair pricing that matches the effort put in. Speed stands out when urgent problems like tripped breakers or failed outlets hit during peak summer. DIRT Score 4.73 from 1047 reviews on Finds.

“We desperately needed our pool lights fixed. After calling multiple ”pool companies” with the same response they don’t service pool lights, I came across Gubruds. Thinking I’d get the same response as it was seeming impossible to have my pool lights replaced, I was scheduled a free estimate appointment for two days later. Upon arriving they also noticed my two year old panel breaker didn’t have an all home surge protector (it wasn’t code at the time). They said they could install one if we’d like. I wasn’t ready to add to my already pricey bill, but when they gave me a price for the all home surge protector, I couldn’t say no. After the pool light estimate, our technicians Bud and Levi asked if I would like an installation today. I was honestly surprised and skeptical thinking it was too good to be true after several disappointments in the past. I agreed and within hours I had brand new pool lights, a replaced voltage box to transform what was pushing 120v to 12v (reason my pool lights went out to begin with)….and had them install an all home surge protector. I am a very satisfied customer. After they left, I couldn’t wait for dusk to see my beautiful pool illuminate underneath the stars. My backyard is my peace and serenity, and Gubruds brought a part of that back to me. Thank you Bud and Levi. You two were fantastic and very professional. Don’t mind the pool, we are remodeling and leaves and dirt got inside.”

“The service electrician was knowledgeable and patient with finishing the job. We kept getting a fault error after installation, and he took the device and checked the breaker multiple times for loose wires and connections. The final time was a success, and the charger worked perfectly.”

“I was pleasantly surprised when Alexis from Gubrud’s Services responded to my Angi post the next day. She was very polite and clearly explained the services, and booked and later expedited my appointment to the same day. How great is that! When Ace arrived, he was very patient and friendly and walked me through what needed to be done. He completed the tasks, leaving everything clean and neat, within a couple hours. I couldn’t be more pleased with his help. I highly recommend Gubrud’s for electrical repairs.”

“We had Bonni out to give us an estimate for a hot tub installation, and we were incredibly impressed. She is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain our panel's capacity, the trenching required, and the exact permitting process. Her helpful advice saved us from making a costly mistake on placement. We highly recommend her expertise!”

“Gubrud’s was able to fit me into their schedule on short notice, which was very appreciated. Bud was professional and did a very thorough job installing a pool light and the required electrical work. I highly recommend him and Gubrud’s Services.”
