“A friend's family brought my kids and me to this waterpark on one of the free buddy days for season pass holders (so we got in free!) and my kids had a mostly great time. I have a 6 year old, 4 year old, and baby, and my one main issue was that my 4 year old couldn't participate in much besides the lazy river, wave pool, and splash pad/zone area with some slides because she was too short for most things. Even the slides at the splash pad area required me to go down with her which is fun but hard when I'm also juggling a 9 month old and constantly passing him off to my friend to hold ha. My oldest was able to participate in pretty much everything with her 8 year old friend and they loved all of the different rides and activities! The rules to get in are pretty stickler so make sure you read up on those before getting to the main entrance. The lifeguards were kind and seemed to be paying attention for the most part, we even saw a double rescue happen in the wave pool (although I'm not sure why it took so long for backup or the secondary lifeguard to take her spot on the stand to keep watching while she was in the water... probably took at least 5 minutes?). There's a couple different food options and dessert places, (we had the pizza and icees) and apparently season pass holders get a discount that also passes on to their buddys as well which is nice because the food is not necessarily cheap. The park is clean and a nice size, not too big that you have to worry much about your kids getting lost. We also did have one mishap with the size pole at the bottom of the body slide measuring different from the one at the top of the body slide, so we thought my second youngest could do it and waited in line til the top, but turns out she was too short. We did make sure the lifeguards were aware so hopefully it got fixed. We also had fast passes that were given to us but didn't need them til the second half of the day when it got more busy. Overall we will be back!”

“Have been three times so far this summer, once for a group with a pavilion (with kids), once as regular admission as a season pass holder (with kids), and last night for the Grown Up Getaway (no kids). Had fun every time! Waits haven’t seemed that long this summer, and the lazy river is always refreshing. I like that they have a variety of tube types for kids and adults. The food is better than expected too (hint: go for the chicken strips over the burger, or go get a whole pizza which is the most affordable option for families.) I don’t drink alcohol but based on my view of the bar last night, the adult drinks must be verrrry popular.”

“We had an amazing time at adult night! The DJ (Lady Tequila) was very entertaining and kept the mood up. Drinks were good. Slides were fun. Can’t wait for the next one!”

“My husband and I had an amazing time at Adult Night! We’re season pass holders, so getting into Adult Night as part of our passes was such an awesome perk. My family and I visit at least once a week during the season, so we’ve spent a lot of time at Typhoon Texas, and this was one of our favorite experiences yet. Huge shoutout to the social media team for pushing for this event—it definitely paid off! We also loved the DJ. She kept the energy up all night, had a great mix of music, and I thought it was awesome that she was taking song requests. It made the whole experience even more fun. The music around the lazy river was still great, but one idea for next time would be to see if the DJ’s music could also play through those speakers. The wave pool had such an incredible party atmosphere, and syncing the music throughout the park would make it feel like one big event. Another fun idea would be a glow-in-the-dark/blacklight Adult Night with neon decorations, glow sticks, and blacklights. I think that would be an absolute hit! Thank you to everyone who made this event happen. My husband and I had an absolute blast, and we’ll definitely be back for the next Adult Night. We already can’t wait to see what y’all come up with next!”
