What Customers Say
“They took care of my mother's car! A/C went out. J b did the repairs at a reasonable price.”
“Been a customer of JB for thirty years! The BEST mechanic shop in town! He is fair, honest, affordable, personable, sympathetic, and his staff is hard-working! I always recommend him to EVERYONE!!! I’ve never met his like before and probably never will again. The most honest, trustworthy mechanic EVER!!!!”
“Amazing service. Chris is knowledgeable and helpful.”
“Jess is an awesome person, as well as his son and the crew. My dad and uncles always went to him when I was growing up, and now I am a loyal customer just the same. They always told me Jess is the one guy in town that will genuinely take care of you and not rake you over the coals. I've been going for the last 10 years and have the same to say and more. I'm glad his son is in on the business so that it can keep running the way the best auto shop in town should! Just picked up my truck today and it was a good reminder why I will always go to him. Got everything I needed done, filled me in on the situation (I'm garbage when it comes to anything under the hood) and gave me a price that was honest for the work done. I can't say enough good things about them!”
“Do NOT take your vehicle here!! They may be able to do things like replacing a windshield wiper, or air up a tire properly, but if it's anything more complicated than that, I would stay far away. We took our teen's car in Nov '23 to finally get a head gasket fixed that we had put off for about a year, because the owner told us it would be fine for the time being, as long as we didn't mind oil dripping in our driveway. The car was fine, we just made sure there was always oil in it, but there wasn't more than just a drip. Our daughter is going off to college in Aug, so we figured it was time to go ahead and get it done. We get the car back and he says it will drip oil for 2-3 weeks as it burns off what had already come out and gotten on the motor. After a month, it was STILL dripping, so we take it back. He says they missed something and would get it fixed, no charge. Get it back again, STILL leaking oil. Try driving it for a couple of weeks and notice that the leak has actually gotten worse than when we took it in to begin with, at one point all the oil had leaked out without us realizing and put the car in to engine save mode, where it wouldn't go higher than 20 mph. Took it back again. Said they had it all sealed up. Got it back STILL leaking oil. Called again and they said to bring it back. 4th time's the charm right? Nope. After keeping it over a week, so they could "really figure out the problem", we had to call to find out what was going on with it because we hadn't heard anything. They say, oh it's done and they are pretty certain they got it all. They had driven it around pretty hard and nothing was leaking. So we go pick it up and as soon as we are in the driveway, you can see smoke coming from under the hood and low and behold, oil dripping all over underneath. That was it, we decided to finally let someone else look at it and guess what, the head gasket is cracked. So now we will be paying thousands of dollars to fix what this mechanic was SUPPOSED to fix in the first place, and whatever other mess they made of it. New mechanic said there was just silicone everywhere, and nothing actually fixed. Do not trust these people with your vehicles, and if you do, don't say I didn't warn you!”
