Will Power Solar Llc
Electrician · San Antonio, TX
About
Will Power Solar Llc works as an electrician and solar installer based in San Antonio, Texas. The crew handles electrical setups tied to solar power systems for homes across the city and nearby spots like Cibolo. They focus on getting panels on roofs, adding battery storage, and sorting out the wiring that ties everything into the local grid. Years in the field have built their know-how on South Texas conditions where heat and storms hit hard on outdoor equipment. Homeowners call them when utility bills climb or when they want to cut reliance on the power company. The outfit keeps a master electrician on hand to manage the full job from start to finish.
Their daily work covers full solar installs, battery hookups, and follow-up repairs that keep systems running. Crews respond to calls about monitoring apps that stop talking to phones, swap out damaged panels that no longer produce power, and clean dirt-caked arrays that look like desert rock. Will has driven out multiple times to fix issues on site and answers texts when problems pop up. Debbie steps in to handle upgrades like switching to 5G monitoring so owners can track output again. Jobs range from initial panel placement to quick fixes after failed inspections or weather damage. They aim to get power flowing steady without dragging out the timeline longer than needed.
Feedback from customers points to solid quality on repairs once the crew shows up, with clear communication helping some owners feel less stressed about their setups. Speed and price draw mixed notes though, since a few jobs stretched past expected windows and left systems down for months. Where techs like Will and Debbie stayed in touch and handled panel swaps or cleanings, results held up well. Overall the record shows steady electrical and solar fixes in San Antonio but room for tighter timelines. DIRT Score 3.39 from 37 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“One star as “zero” wasn’t an option… Lied to during sales/contract. Took OVER A YEAR to install (salesman said 3 weeks!). Failed CPS (electric company) inspection 2 times before another contractor setup. Reduced electric bill for 2 months before failing. Will Power Solar stopped answering calls. AVOID WILL POWER SOLAR AT ALL COST!”
“I really appreciate working with them. Prompt response. Good communication. I was stressed to even look or understand my solar panel performance. I worked with Will Power Solar and they were able to help me get the system to communicate with the app, had to replace two panels that were damaged and some lose wiring. I have a two story home so it is difficult for me to even look at the panel status. Now I have everything working and I am able to monitor my daily performance. Overall I am extremely happy with the customer service I received.”
“POST Update 4/2/24…. Will from willpower solar has really been helpful over the last year. He answers my calls and text when I need help. He has been out to my house multiple times to do work. There was a misunderstanding from the previous situation and they have helped me a lot as of recently. I appreciate all their recent help getting my system working right. This company is a complete disaster outside of San Antonio. I have had my solar Panels for 6 months and they have not worked one second. My electric bill goes up every month and they continue to push me to the side and don’t sent anyone out to fix my system. I am on the verge of filing a lawsuit if it is not fixed in the next couple weeks. We have now almost missed the entire summer, when I should be getting the most use out of the panels and yet they still don’t work. Do yourself a favor and move to the next company.”
“I have always had a good experience with Will Power Solar especially with Debbie who went above and beyond in helping me upgrade to 5G to continue monitoring my system. July 2025: I noticed my panels looked like the Sierra Desert. Will Power came out and cleaned them looking like new. The technician did a great job.”
“We had panels installed in 2019. They worked well until the inverter went out. I called and spoke with Debbie; who is wonderful. she set up a claim ticket and gave me a case number. Long story short, the inverters were back ordered due to the supply chain issue. Inverter finally came in, and has been sitting in their warehouse since April 28th. All l get are empty promises telling me when they will come swap out the inverter. I have had two separate days promised, just to be rescheduled. Summer is almost here and I have not been able to generate electricity to offset my bill. Maybe I should send them my electric bill since I'm unable to generate power.”
