Zimmerman Electric

Zimmerman Electric Company works as a residential electrician outfit based in Surprise, Arizona, right in the Phoenix metro area. They focus on homes and handle remodel projects plus general electrical contractor needs that pop up for local homeowners. The crew stays ready for everyday calls on wiring, panels, and upgrades without any extra layers or delays. People in this part of Arizona deal with steady heat that pushes electrical systems hard, so having a local team that knows the area helps keep things running when summer loads hit peak.

Electricians from Zimmerman Electric take on full residential jobs including new wiring during remodels, outlet and switch fixes, and panel upgrades to handle modern appliances and air conditioning demands. They work directly on site to trace issues like tripped breakers or faulty circuits caused by dust and extreme temperatures common around Surprise. Homeowners often need help with whole-house inspections before selling or after storms, and the team moves through these tasks by testing each component one by one until the problem clears. This approach covers everything from basic repairs to bigger electrical contractor needs without cutting corners on safety or code requirements that matter in Arizona builds.

Customers keep coming back because the work gets done fast and holds up under daily use, with clear updates on what needs fixing and fair pricing that matches the scope of each job. Reviews highlight reliable quality on remodel electrical work and quick responses when systems fail during heat waves. That steady performance across speed, workmanship, and communication builds the record that stands out. DIRT Score 4.82 from 471 reviews on Finds.

“After getting some insanely high quotes from other companies, I gave Zimmerman Electric Company a call, and I’m really glad I did. The quote given was extremely reasonable and the appointment was setup quickly. The electrician that showed up was very professional and had a superb work ethic. The job was completed quickly, and the end result was perfect. So perfect in fact, that I called the company back for additional work, and again, the end result was perfect. I highly recommend Zimmerman Electric Company for any electrical needs you may have.”

“Had an issue with an outdoor electrical outlet. Called Zimmerman Electric and instead of charging us hundreds of dollars to come out and push a button, he told us how to fix it ourselves. Will definitely use Zimmerman for any future electrical needs. Thank you!”

“Zimmerman did a great job for us. The work was done professionally and very timely. We needed it ASAP due to insurance being canceled If the work was not done immediately. We couldn’t be happier with Marc Zimmerman and his crew.”

“I reached out to Zimmerman from a realtor recommendation to bid on pricey move of the home electrical panel. Very responsive initially, but then ghosted us. No further contact, no alibi for missing appointment. Hope all is well.”

“I requested a quote and availability for installation of two sun tunnel dimmers wired to one switch, along with a new outlet. I was told the company charged $125/hour and had availability, which I interpreted as confirmation they were both capable of and prepared for the work. The technician arrived on time, but appeared unprofessional and seemed unfamiliar with the scope of the job. He was confused when I mentioned sun tunnel dimmers and stated he did not know anything about installing an outlet. After briefly reviewing the schematic, he said the dimmers would be “a lot of work” and needed to send photos to the office. There was no initiative to complete even the outlet installation, which I expected to be a basic electrical task. After expressing my dissatisfaction, I was told the comp”

“We recently contacted Zimmerman Electric to work with us on a couple small projects. The electricians were on time, they were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. It was an excellent experience and we would recommend their services.”

“They arrived on time and finished all of the tasks in a very timely manner. Both employees were very nice and answered all of my questions. The price was very reasonable, would highly recommend Zimmerman Electric.”

“This is my second (possibly third) time doing business with Zimmerman Electric. So glad I continue to use this company for electrical projects around the house. I thought the quote given was very fair. So, we had them come out to install a chandelier. However, upon inspection the installers thought the chandelier was WAY too big for the space. Initially thought the same, but the wife doesn’t listen to me… hahaha. Took these two professionals to tell her it was not feasible to put such a large piece in our space. Ultimately, they could’ve just installed it, and got paid. Though, they warned about it being installed and the wife might not be happy with the outcome. These two gentlemen were very knowledgeable, courteous, and understanding. We discussed procurement of a smaller chandelier, a”

“I wanted to add an outdoor plugin on my patio. Sent my request online at their web page on Saturday. Received a response on Sunday and scheduled an 8:00 am service call on Tuesday. Chris the technician, arrived at 7:45am and was completed by 8:20am. Now that is serviced than the customer is looking for. Chris was personable, great happy attitude and got to work quickly. I would recommend this serviced to everyone.”

“Bryon and Chris installed a 60amp EV charger and did an amazing job. Zimmerman did a quick and effective quote, and came in much better than 5 others I got quotes from. Will definitely use Zimmerman for my next electrical project.”
