Karnowski Electric Company

Karnowski Electric Company operates out of Victoria, Texas as the oldest electrical contractor in the area, having started back in 1944 under Anton P. Karnowski. The business stayed in the family when it passed to Henry Karnowski Sr., a former marine and master electrician, before Henry Karnowski Jr. took over in 2008. Based right on E North St., they keep a small crew that delivers straightforward southern service while handling the full range of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical needs across town. Their experience covers generators, panels, outlets, and general upkeep, and they stay involved locally with the Boy Scout troop and Kiwanis Club.

The crew takes on new builds along with repair and maintenance calls, including fixing tripping circuit breakers, sorting out shorts in outlets, moving wires, burying underground lines, hanging ceiling fans and chandeliers, and running 220 volt lines for appliances. On service upgrades they replace old panels with current ones and handle commercial work like parking lot lighting and security setups. Customers note the crews arrive when promised, keep folks updated during the job, and finish residential panel swaps or outlet fixes without dragging things out or running up extra costs.

Work quality and fair pricing stand out in the feedback, with homeowners pointing to solid results on panel replacements done ahead of schedule and clear communication from start to finish. Reviewers mention professional and friendly crews who stick to the plan and deliver reliable fixes at reasonable rates. Speed and attention to detail earn consistent mentions even when schedules get tight. DIRT Score 4.91 from 43 reviews on Finds.

“Very professional and they did a great job in a timely manner. I needed a new sevice panel installed because my old one was out of date. They came in and got it done sooner than I thought. Great pricing too!”

“They gave me a date and time to fix my electrical issue. I took the day off from work to be home for the electrician and nobody showed up. I called the office twice, left two messages and they never returned my calls.”

“Review Thankyou Karnowski Electric Company. It’s hard to trust companies these days to complete electrical or plumbing issues. Questions like “Will I be charged a fair price?” “Will the work be completed professionally?” Well, Karnowski Electric Company can be trusted. Trevor and Matthew promptly responded to my call, were at my house within hours, and completed the service the same day. They were informative, fair priced, worked quickly, and repaired a wire that had been wreaking havoc in my home. I appreciate you so much for being honest and hardworking. I also appreciate you meeting my mother at my house because I work out of town. You were so kind and helpful collecting my house keys from my mother to check the inside of my house. You even plugged in my refrigerator so that it would be cold when I returned home. You really went the extra mile. Thanks again, and I’ll be calling Karnowski Electric in the future when I have electrical problems. Great job!”
