What Customers Say
“Thank you so very much for the quick response and repair today. These May storms with high winds and lightening strikes are causing problems with service---but we can count on VEC every time.”
“Visiting this local business was a delight, and the customer service radiated warmth and support. The office itself is a truly inviting space. Thank you Joann!”
“Spoke with two different employees from here and they were both unnecessarily rude. They really seemed to hate customer service and helping. It’s a real shame and I truly hope that happiness finds them and they begin enjoying to work there.”
“I have a really long review, but feel it's necessary to share my negative review. In December 2024 I discovered we had "unclaimed funds" in Texas Unclaimed Property web site. The funds were from Victoria Electric Coop. The website said we need to contact the co-op directly. We were previous customers, but have not had an acct there in almost 20 years. I found out later the funds were from accumulated capital credits from 1990 - 2006. I called VE Co op the first time on 12/23/24. I spoke to Krystal Berger. Krystal told me Karen Frederick had a back log of people requiring refunds, and it may take a "month or so" for her to send it. I called again on 1/27/25 and left a message. Received a call back on 1/29/25 saying form was completed and sent to "management" for signature. I called back on 2/17/25 and left a message. Karen Frederick called back and said the form was still on the desk of "management" for signature. Over a month later on 3/26/25 received a call from Alexa Nichols asking to verify our address and amount of refund we are supposed to receive. She was going to be sending the form. On 4/8/25 we still had not received the form in the mail. I called and spoke to Alexa Nichols again. She said the form was previously mailed, and she would print it out and mail again. We have a PO Box and never have problems receiving our mail. Finally on 4/25/25 we still had not received either of the two forms, so we drove to the co-op (almost one hour drive). We arrived before noon, and Alexa was at lunch. We left for awhile and came back. A letter was brought out to us by an employee. The letter was signed by Alexa Nichols, Financial Services Manager. So after 4 months of unnecessary calling & waiting we finally have the required letter to send to Texas Unclaimed Property. This type of service is unacceptable. I would have given zero stars for the review, but was required to leave one. Do better!!”
“We have lived in rural Cuero for over four years and are originally from Houston. We sometimes feel forgotten because we have no city water, very weak cell and internet service and potholes in the streets. The only elec. provider available to us was VEC and I can’t imagine another provider being better than VEC. We do have outages but within minutes they contact us that they are on it. The same workers are here every time and are very friendly and helpful. Although I converted our house to all electric the prices are very affordable.”
