Bp Services
Electrician · Waco, TX
About
Bp Services operates as electricians out of Valley Mills, Texas. They take on residential electrical projects, often getting selected by builders for new home constructions in the area. Their work involves running wires, setting up outlets, and mounting fixtures throughout houses. Based in this part of Texas, they deal with the demands of local homeowners who need reliable power setups for daily living and outdoor areas. The company has been involved in multiple builds where electrical systems were put in place from the ground up, handling everything from basic lighting to appliance connections.
Bp Services handles electrical installations for new constructions and existing homes in the Valley Mills region. This includes placing outdoor plugs and lights, cutting and fitting recessed ceiling lights, wiring dryer outlets, mounting light fixtures securely, and setting up separate breakers for appliances like microwaves. Crews show up to complete full jobs after builders select them, but in practice they have left large gaps around fixtures and unrepaired damage in walls. One case involved a paid job of thirty three hundred dollars where the worker departed midway and follow up visits did not occur as arranged. Trucks from the company travel local roads at high speeds near homes with children present.
Bp Services earns its score through repeated customer feedback on electrical work in Valley Mills homes. Homeowners report that installations often fall short in quality, with things like oversized holes for lights and outlets left as is, and fixtures not mounted properly. Speed suffers when jobs get started but not completed despite payments made, leading to multiple follow up calls that go nowhere. Communication breaks down as owners promise returns but do not follow through, especially noted by older clients. Price paid does not align with the outcomes, such as needing fixes for dryer outlets and appliance circuits. These patterns across reviews explain the standing. DIRT Score 2.61 from 13 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“We recently built a home and they were the electricians our builder chose. We have outdoor plugs/lights that have large holes around them (they cut too big or in the wrong spot). Almost every recessed light hole in our home was cut too big or has large gashes that were never repaired. Same issues as another Google review - microwave is not on separate breaker and breakers tripping randomly on one end of house, when nothing is plugged in. The workers were very unprofessional. They were smoking cigarettes inside the home during the electrical install. We also caught them kicking trash around in a box on our property at one point…which we had to pickup ourselves. We asked for things to be done correctly and they refused to respond in timely manner. To say the least, we will not be using BP Services again.”
“Came twice, never finished the job. We are seniors and my husband called them 3 times. We paid 3300$ for a complete job. Their worker left and never came back so the owner came by same day but when we paid him he never came back as promised.”
“Never had services performed but I do see they are inconsiderate of the people, in the community, they serve. We live in Eddy and see their service trucks speeding down our county road at a high rate of speed, with kids playing in yards and walking down the roadside. Apparently they provide a service for one of the homes on County Road 435 but with their driving abilities and attitudes, I don't see how they keep anyone employed.”
“I did not hire this contractor, the home builder ( Woody Butler Properties) hired them for our new home. Seeing everything should be new and up to code here is a list of issues thus far. Dryer outlet improperly installed, light fixtures not secure, microwave not on independent breaker unsure where dedicated microwave breaker goes, bare wires in multiple places, junction boxes not enclosed. Most scary possible fire hazard is breakers randomly tripping when not being used. Unsure how some of these obvious issues passed inspection, for future costumers I suggest having multiple inspections of work performed. I really hope this was just a fluke on my home but this was my experience”
“Awesome!!! Never had a problem with them.”
