Davis Electric Co

Davis Electric Co works as electricians out of Wichita Falls Texas handling residential electrical jobs along with solar installations for local homeowners. The heat and storms in the area put real strain on home power setups so the crews stay busy with panel upgrades and wiring repairs that keep single family houses running steady. They come prepared with the right tools to get these jobs done on site without stretching the timeline out any longer than needed. Homeowners in this part of Texas often deal with outages and high loads from air conditioning so the company focuses on solid fixes that hold up under that kind of daily use.

Crews put solar panels on roofs and tie in generator backup systems to keep power flowing when the grid goes down. One job had them install a full solar setup on a house with the backup connection handled end to end and any small issues sorted during the process. Danny sat down with a homeowner who had looked at options for years to go over what fit the place best while other workers handled the electrical connections from start to finish. Another project involved designing and mounting a complete solar array that included the generator link and left the customer with a system that worked right away. They also handle straightforward electrical repairs like fixing panels and running new wiring on existing homes when weather damage shows up.

Customers return because the finished work stays reliable and the crews lay out choices in plain terms from the first contact. High marks come in for quality since the panels and wiring last without quick callbacks and communication stays clear through every step of the job. Response times sit in a good range for the area and pricing comes across as reasonable given the scope of the work on solar and electrical projects. DIRT Score 4.73 from 50 reviews on Finds.

“Had Soler put on my house by Davis electric. The Employees that works for this company and installed my solar panels are absolutely professional, and proficient. Highly recommend Davis electric for all your solar and your electrical needs for your house. Thank you again for all your hard work.”

“Solar is not a cheap investment. With that in mind I wanted a local company who would be easier to reach and who could provide localized support. I have been pleased so far with the system they designed and installed, to include the generator backup power connection. The few issues that arose were quickly answered and handled and I have no doubt that Davis will be around years from now if anything else should happen. The same can not be said for a lot of the cheaper nationwide door knocking installers... I am looking forward to NOT having 450 dollar electric bills this summer.”

“I had been researching solar installation companies since 2018. I received quotes from both reputable and questionable salesmen, but never found a good fit for our situation and needs. Then I saw an ad in a local newspaper for Davis Electric, so I called and made an appointment with Danny. He reviewed our electrical needs and concerns, answered all of our questions and gave us a quote we felt comfortable with. Davis worked with our electric co-op to get approval and permits for the system. When installation day came it was a sight to see. A convoy of trucks and equipment arrived and work began immediately. Jacob, the project leader, kept us informed of every step taken, answered all our questions and kept the team moving like a well-oiled machine. Our ground-based solar array was installed without a hitch; Jacob explained all the components and helped me hook the monitoring system up to my wireless network. The site was left clean and tidy. We ordered the optional Sense Energy Monitoring system and use it frequently throughout the day to see how much solar energy the array is generating and how much power our home is consuming – it’s wonderful to see the array covering all our power needs while sending the excess back to the grid. We could not be happier that we found Davis Electric and would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“I'm an Architect and am exposed to a variety of Electrical Contractors over my professional life of going on 50 years. I made the decision to go to Solar because I knew and have dealt directly with Davis Electric and hold them in high regard for their professionalism and service. I did not make a mistake. Davis Electric gave ample data and information to make a discission to go to Solar. Once the decision was made Davis Electric walked us through the steps and keep us informed as to schedule and expected completion. When on site their Electricians were courteous and respectful of our home and time. I would give them a 10 if the scale went that high.”

“Nick, Danny, Jacob, Thank you. We are off the grid. Wonderful feeling. Your team is awesome. All very much the Texas gentlemen. So polite and considerate. That means nothing unless the job is well done, as it was. Photo attached. This is our first solar. This is so exciting to see sun powering our home. Check out the Davis Electric Facebook page. Nick and team have some informational posts that are amazing. Nick shows how he went almost 8 days off the grid. I'm looking to get 24 hours. First few hours, but so far, so amazed how we can power out home with the sun. Thank you, Davis Electric”
