“Today was my third time having Rustic Fence Specialists take care of my fencing needs. As always, they did not disappoint! I had a small section of fencing between my home and a rental property that the property management company said wasn't their responsibility. The fence that they (property management company) had previously installed was literally falling down, so I had to do something. I was afraid that it was too small of a job for Rustic to come out, but Daniel assured me that they could take care of it. The crew came out this morning and did a great job of putting new fencing in for me. They even took care of straightening a metal post that was no longer perfect due to soil erosion. That post was installed by Rustic in 1998 and still in perfect condition other than that erosion, which obviously was not their fault. I now have a perfect section of fencing again. I'm sure that it will last for many years to come!! Thank you, Daniel, and Rustic Fence Specialists!!”

“I had such a pleasant experience with Rustic Fence. I have 16 steps leading to my front door and felt I should put up some railings along the way. Within a short time after I called Rustic Fence, they came out, showed me examples of the type of railing I wanted, which was simple and not attention getting. And I needed to be able to trim my yard around the railing. They made the railings to my specifications, installed on one day, and cleaned everything up as I had asked. Very nice people to work with and very accommodating. They’ve been in Arlington ever since I can remember (I’ve lived 50 yrs here) and now I know why! They are the best!”

“Bob Erwin come to my house on 20 May it is now the 29th. I sent him one picture of railing that I’d like to have done. He never would respond by text or phone call to find out if you received the picture and when I could look forward to a price. He put me in the voicemail and ignored me several times. He told me they no longer really wanted to do residential there wasn’t as much money in it as corporate work. All he had to do was tell me he wasn’t interested instead. He said I’ll get back with you within a couple of days. Then silence. I don’t know if it was because I was a woman or that he was just a jerk, but I laid her read all the reviews on the company and they were not good. Very, very disappointed.”

“Hello there my friends, I did not have a good experience with Rustic and this was just the initial sitting up an appointment. I called 6 days ago, did not receive a call back from them, called the office again today and finally got a call back. Levi the person who called me back said he's send me a google satellite estimate and then If I wanted to have him come out for an actual estimate then he would. I stated I'd rather have him come out and He then stated he didn't want to waste my time but I am guessing more of his time providing me a free estimate since his stated his products would be more expensive than others estimates I may have already received. WOW, I'm am assuming he must have access to my bank account and know what I can or cannot afford. Where is customer service these days and taking care of potential clients. Rustic has been around for a long time and there were recommended to me. WOW not sure if this is there company standard or what but it sure is not good business. I'll also post this on the BBB as well for anyone who is considering them as a vendor. Thank you”

“Thank you Team working for Rustic Fence for another great job. Thank you Daniel Schoonover for setting up my appointment and timely updates. Rustic Fence Team installed my original fence in 2007. I obtained their service again to have my old fence removed and replaced today on 02-26-2025 because I was so impressed with their prior fence installation. Not only was the entire job completed in 6 hours but Team also did a wonderful job on cleanup. I can highly recommend Rustic Fence for any fence service. They are courteous, on-time, worked non-stop without even taking a lunch break. The fence was not ready made panels but one by one wooden plank installed which lasts much longer and has no gaps to see through. Team went the extra step to close up 2 gaps between my fence and neighbor's fence for me and trim back overgrown tree pushing against old fence. They take pride in their work and it shows. “First Class workmanship, customer service and one exquisite fence. I finally replaced the old original fence that was a wreck. I checked around and saw some of the reviews. Bob came out, drew it up, made some great suggestions, like wrapping the steel posts with cedar now facing inside the yard. Honestly, it looks more like furniture than a fence. They worked with precision and did not do a rush 'slam it in' job. All calls to the office were handled politely and messages returned quickly. “I'd seen a number of "Rustic" fences around the area that I had liked, so I called them for a quote. I also stopped by their location to check them out. Note, their 'stained' fence is constructed from wood that is actually 'dipped' prior to assembly, so it's complete and thorough. I had a proposal in just a couple of days. They started on time and while the job took a bit longer than anticipated, the workmanship is great. I'm very picky and their crew built a solid, durable fence that looks fantastic. I ordered 'metal-framed wood gates' and what they built are beyond my hopes. The finish-out is nearly interior quality. For me, this was an 'expensive' fence… but I believe that I got what I paid for. A great improvement to my property. I'd highly recommend them.”

“We worked with Ryan South at Rustic Fence. He was extremely professional, met with my wife Keith personally, confirmed our personal requirements and replied with a quote within 24 hours. Our fence install needed scheduling coordination with a landscaping company because we were removing all shrubs and trees simultaneously with tearing down the old fence and installing the new one. Ryan helped us with that dual schedule, and had someone out within 48 hours of us signing his quote to mark the yard for underground utilities to avoid any issues. He did exactly what we asked as far as custom design, scheduling, follow-up to review his crews work. And the final result is a beautiful fence that we would recommend to anyone! The other unique feature that was offered that made us choose Rustic was we wanted a cedar fence that was stained in a rusty brown. Much to our surprise, Rustic presoaks their cedar boards in exactly the stain color we were looking for that resulted in less install time and again a great finished fence.”

“I found Rustic Fence through a contractor who replaced my roof (among other things) after the hail storm in East Dallas in June 2012. I worked with Ryan South; he rebuilt a small fence that was damaged in the storm. His crew was so good (fast, cleaned up like they were never here) and built a beautiful board-on-board fence -- the fence looked so good compared to my yard fence, which was an old dog-eared picket fence with wood rot. I have three large dogs, so a solid fence is important! Ryan gave me a bid for a yard fence, which was so reasonable -- I didn't even get any other quotes, I liked his company that much. When I was ready to replace the yard fence this spring, I contacted Ryan again. I had to get a special Conservation District permit, and once this was secured, Ryan started almost immediately. His crew did a great job and built a beautiful board-on-board fence in three short days. We had a few minor hiccups that Ryan addressed immediately. Once again, his crew cleaned up like they were never here. I would recommend Rustic Fence to anyone. I've had several neighbors compliment me on the fence as well!”
