J-N Fence Co, Inc.

J-N Fence Co, Inc. handles fencing work from its base in Balch Springs, Texas. The family-owned outfit has operated since 1983 across the DFW area with wood, iron, and chain link fences plus custom gates. They take residential jobs that include full fence and gate installs, repairs and service calls, access control systems, custom driveway gates, and iron handrails for pools or balconies. The same crews also work with homebuilders on new installs that match community rules and with commercial clients on perimeter fences and gates.

Homeowners describe fence replacements after dogs broke through old sections and fresh wood privacy fences that stand eight feet tall. Others mention repairs on damaged sections, new partition fences with gates, and one-of-a-kind additions like a Mowgate built into an existing fence for a robotic mower. Reviewers note that Scott handled assessments and quotes without delay while Jamie finished a full install in two days and cleared every scrap of debris. JC explained board-on-board versus side-by-side styles in plain terms, and Greg called some customers directly after the work to check the outcome.

The company answers estimate requests inside one business day and keeps homeowners updated from the first visit through final cleanup. Crews arrive on schedule, stick to the quoted price that many call competitive, and leave the site neat. Service reaches throughout the DFW region for both single-home projects and builder schedules. Reviewers mention clear talks at every step, crews that listen to specific requests, and follow-up that keeps the job moving without surprises.

Google shows a 4.5 rating from 59 reviews. The same points come up again and again: solid build quality that holds up in North Texas conditions, crews that communicate well and finish on time, and yards that look better once the fence is in place. Many customers say they plan to call the same company for any future fence work.

“J-N Fence Co. did a great job coming out and installing a Mowgate on my fence. A Mowgate is an accessory for the Segway Navimow robotic lawn mower that essentially functions as an automatic gate, allowing the mower to pass through the fence on its own. I was the first customer to approach them about installing one, so this wasn’t a typical fence job for them. They took the time to learn what the Mowgate was, understand how it needed to be installed, and figure out the best way to integrate it into my existing fence. They went above and beyond to make sure the installation was done correctly, and they gave me a very fair price for the work. I really appreciate them being willing to take on something new and putting in the effort to do it right. Great company to work with!”

“My fence had to be replaced after my dogs got loose. J-N did a fantastic job installing a new 8 foot tall cedar privacy fence. I highly recommend them. They were polite, professional, and most important for me did a very thorough clean up.”

The crew was professional, efficient, and paid attention to every detail, leaving the job site clean when they were finished. The finished fence looks fantastic and has completely transformed the property. If you're looking for a company that takes pride in their work and delivers exactly what they promise, I highly recommend JN Fence Co.”

“JN Fence did a great job on my fence! I knew I wanted a fence but didn’t know how to start the process and what all needed to be done! They came and showed me what the difference between a board on board and side by side is. They were very helpful and professional with me.”

“I felt it was necessary to give praise and give a shout-out to Scott because it is due! What a great experience I had with him all through the entire process of having my partition fence and new gate put in. He listen to me, made some recommendations to my ideas, and it turned out just as he said it would. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and I’m glad I listened to him. What a great representative to the organization at JN Fence you have in him. If you’re looking at a quality fence, great finished work, and a professional to work with, please get in touch with Scott…he’ll take great care of your needs. Thank you for the great work and also the conversation about where I can find authentic Mexican food around where I live (relocated from Colorado to Rockwall recently)…didn’t steer me wrong there either! Thanks.”
