A-1 Aluminum Company

A-1 Aluminum Company takes on fencing work along with carports and patio covers for homes and businesses around Baytown. The family owned operation has run for over 35 years and lists services that include vinyl siding, windows, doors, sun rooms, screen rooms, awnings, pergolas, and RV covers. They handle residential and commercial jobs in the Houston-Baytown area and offer free estimates for additions or covers. Crews focus on aluminum structures but bring in subcontractors when wooden fences or concrete slabs come up on a project.

Homeowners describe patio cover installs that fixed rotted fascia against insulated sections, with Bryan stepping in to replace the wood and stop the leak for good. Other jobs went through without changes to the plan, and Bryon stayed on site daily with his crew so any questions got answered right away. A patio cover went up at a new house in Chester Texas, and several customers noted clear updates throughout the work. One review pointed out that concrete poured by a subcontractor developed cracks soon after and failed under heavy truck traffic because the ground stayed wet and no lime went down first.

The company keeps owners in the loop during the job and shows up to check progress instead of leaving crews alone. Service stays in the Houston-Baytown area, and they aim to finish what they start so the customer ends up satisfied. Reviews mention both the aluminum side and the times subcontractors stepped in for fences or slabs, with results that ranged from solid to needing fixes later.

Most feedback highlights the patio and cover work while a smaller share calls out problems with outside crews on concrete and wood. DIRT Score 2.9 from 7 reviews on Finds.

“I would definitely recommend A1 Aluminum to others. I am extremely pleased with the work done at my home. One of the reasons I chose A! Aluminum to do work on my home was a problem I had with rotted fascia that butted up to the side of my insulated patio cover. Of the contractors I interviewed, none knew how to properly fix that problem. A1 Aluminum was recommended to me by one of the contractors interviewed. Immediately upon assessing the matter and because they specialize in installing insulated patios, A1 Aluminum/Bryan knew what to do and how to get to that rotted wood, replace it, and alleviate the problem 'permanently'. There was lots more work to be done at my home, but resolution to this problem' was foremost. With that addressed, all other work to be done ( replacing more rotted wood, soffit vents, and gutters; adding vinyl siding on fascia, wood trim, and chimney) was done well, also. Bryan and his team had a great work ethic and they were very responsive to all of my inquiries and concerns.”

“Work was done as planned, no surprises. We are very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend A-1 Aluminum Company. Bryon was there every day with his crew. That was important to us as we had had work performed by other contractors where we hardly saw the supervisor/owner/crew chief and we would end up spending time trying to reach these people when a problem would arise. Bryon was on site and made sure we were satisfied with the job they were doing; and we were.”

“A-1 does a good job on their aluminum business but they hire sub-contractors for their other work such as wooden fences and concrete work. Their concrete sub does an absolutely pitiful job with cracks everywhere from just after the pour. This is a townhome complex and we have lots of big, heavy trucks plying our drives and they simply can't hold up to the abuse. The sub poured concrete over ground that had been standing in water for several days and didn't even use any lime. No wonder it fails!”

“A-1 Aluminum came out and put a nice patio cover up at our new home in Chester Texas. If you want the job done right, then A-1 Aluminum is the company for the job.”

“Would highly recommend A-1 for patio covers. We are so pleased with the whole process. Thank you very much A-1.”

“Excellent work and communications. Would highly recommend!”
