“I had contacted a local contractor for a new deck roof. He ghosted me and I reached out to Rick's. Eli came out the same day to provide an estimate. He was thorough on his measurements and gave me a detailed estimate of the work involved. He got me scheduled for work only 2 weeks out. Nate and his partner showed up on time. Nate took time to go over the installation making sure I was completely satisfied with the location and design. The team was able to complete the project in one day. Based on the excellent communication, quality of workmanship, and the feeling that the company truly cared about me as a customer - I highly recommend Rick's Custom Fencing and Decking.”

“From beginning to end was a fiasco. I am particular about the wood used so I had the salesman bring me samples of the two thicknesses they offer. The thicker one was rough sawn on one side which I didn’t like, he said if I wanted it smooth on both sides, use the thinner board, so I chose those. I signed the contract and then never got an email or call even saying they acknowledged I had signed. I thought that was odd, so I had to call them to verify they got it. Day 1- Start time 8-9. Showed up at 8:15 The lead installer walked the job and saw the post-it note on his paperwork that said “One Day” and had a fit. He was visibly upset and called his office. They had told me it was a three-day job, so I am not sure why they put everyone through this emotional nightmare at the start of a job? He then said they forgot the jackhammer, left at 8:30 and got back at 10:00. Tore down existing fence. Took off existing lock to reuse and put the lock and screws in the dirt of one of my planters. We talked about the boards for the fence and the company does not carry any smooth on both sides boards like the ones I was told I would have (and that I had a sample of). Day 2- Start time 8-9. Ca”

Andy, Devon and William kept in constant communication about their work schedule. They were very professional in taking care of existing landscaping and over all as a team they all worked in harmony with each other. Our cable rail system is wonderful!”

“We had a fun time with the team at Rick’s Custom Fencing. They built a new composite deck, installed a beautiful deck cover and put a 6ft chain link fence around our garden. We were told it would take 3 weeks to complete all the projects. The guys were done in 2 weeks! Unfortunately they had a couple of days of pouring rain but they trudged on in the mud and got the job done. Eli was our sales contact. He came out quickly and gave us a fair quote for this big project. Eli was very professional and knowledgeable about the product. He answered all of our questions and concerns. They had a Spring special going on and we were able to save some money. We agreed upon a price and he set the day to begin the work. Next we met Andy and his team Devon, William (Michael =), Damian and Jax. They were a lot of fun. Hard working! Never complained once. Answered our many questions. Didn’t seem to mind that I watched the process. Loved seeing it all come together. They even took time to say hello to our dog and give her many pets. She was happy to see them come every day.
