Cool Cat Fence

Cool Cat Fence handles fencing work in Gresham. They put up steel fences like ColorMax, chain link sections, hog wire gates, and custom setups built to keep animals in. The company works from its base in the area and takes on both new installs and full replacements. Reviewers mention estimators like Phillip and Mike Doroshuk who walk through options with slides and material details before any crew starts.

Customers often call for fence jobs that need to fit uneven yards, go around trees and stumps, or add extra length after the first quote. Gene and his crew replaced entire runs with clean results. Fernando and his team handled steel installs that neighbors liked from both sides. Irwin, Jose, Antonio, and Reuben built escape-proof barriers without extra charges. Levko Gankevych kept crews on track for quality finishes, and Ruslan added gate fixes like turnbuckles when asked. Many jobs finished ahead of the original schedule even with added sections.

The crews show up on time, send GPS links so homeowners can track the foreman, and keep sites picked up as they go. They answer questions the same day, adjust for last-minute changes, and travel farther out when needed. Quotes come back fast, scheduling happens within a few days, and pricing lands in line with other bids without surprises. Reviewers note the crews stay polite, work efficiently, and make sure the final fence matches what was discussed.

The company earns steady praise for solid builds and clear talk from start to finish. Google shows 4.8 from 649 reviews, with repeated notes on speed, detail work, and crews that stick around until the owner is happy. DIRT Score 4.7 from 649 reviews on Finds.

“I am so in love with my new fence! Cool cat fence is easy to work with and their customer service is extraordinary. They were quick to respond to my request for a quote and super responsive and flexible throughout the process. They were able to schedule my project within 3 days and finished ahead of schedule, even though I added on more fencing to my original request. I’m so impressed with the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Highly recommend!”

“Not the 5 star installation I thought I was hiring. First the sales and estimate employee was friendly and informative. Downside is I was told that all employees worked for CC and were drug tested. My installers were subcontracted. I have no problem with subbing the job. Just don’t lie to me. I don’t blame the subcontractor for the problems and issues. They are picking up the material that was handed to them. The first fence and gate look great and seems to have been executed perfect. The hog wire gate isn’t perfect. Some short cuts and questionable materials 2x4’s cracked. One gate is slightly shorter which makes me question the longevity. I looked up the subs work online and they do great work. They probably would have designed or suggested something else but that is what I asked for. Just not executed to my liking. There were two post repairs between my neighbor and I they did perfect. Now the double gate shown wasn’t what I was expecting. The sub asked if I wanted it stepped down or have a gap at the bottom due to the slope. I thought I was getting gradual steps down not a completely step framed gate. It looks funny and I don’t like it. Another estimator noticed that and quot”

“We wanted something modern, different, and maintenance free. CoolCat built us a Colormax steel fence. It is awesome. The neighbors around us are really happy because their side is just as pretty as ours. CoolCat was great at communication (you even get a GPS link so that you can watch the foreman driving to your job site). They were prompt, unfailingly friendly, and efficient. They were careful but fast and immediately responded to, and addressed, any questions or concerns. It was obvious that they were only done when we were 100% happy. There is a great guarantee too. We would recommend them without reservation.”

“Gene, the foreman, with CoolCat Fence and his crew did an exceptional job in replacing my fence. They did an excellent job. i am very pleased with the quality of their work. i am really happy with the work Gene did. i highly recommend Coolcat fence. They do beautiful work. The best of the best. No one builds better than Cool Cat Fence”

“I love my new ColorMax steel! Was an absolutely amazing experience from the first phone call. I booked to the estimator coming out to getting the job on the schedule, absolutely flawless I couldn’t have asked for better service. it wasn’t overpriced, especially for what the product is. The most expensive fence is a fence you have to do twice! 😉 This one I’ll never have to replace again. Fernando did an amazing job and his crew were so nice, they were sweet to my dog too. Safe to say, I will be recommending cool cat fence to every Homeowner, I know!”

“Cool Cat Fence company had Mike Doroshuk come to walk us through the costs and materials. He had resources and slides showing finished product ideas. When the work began, Levko Gankevych our foreman was exceptionally helpful in making sure all job items were completed with quality and exceptional craftsmanship. He communicated throughout! They worked around stumps and trees with the coverage we needed for a beautiful fence. The crew was polite and hard working and cleaned up the space as they went. Their fence expert was amazing in his detail and his experience was immaculate. These pictures do not do the fence justice! Waiting on the last fence (chainlink) to be installed as it was a custom size. Will be here, I have no doubt. Hire them today! Five Star Exceptional ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!”

“Quick and efficient work! Extremely professional and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Cool Cat Fencing was willing to travel pretty far to do our installment and I couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work, efficiency and commitment to commute.”

“After interviewing 4 different companies we settled on Cool Cat and we are so happy we did. Our fence job required a number of custom quirks due to our need to have an animal escape proof fence. The Cool Cat team worked overtime to get the job right and did not charge us a penny more. Exceptional job-a big thank-you to Irwin, Jose, Antonio, and Reuben.”

“I had a great experience with Cool Cat Fence and highly recommend this local company. From the salesperson to the foreman and technician, everyone communicated well and was professional, attentive, and easy to work with. The salesperson explained everything clearly, and the foreman carefully checked the work to make sure every detail was completed properly. Ruslan, the technician, was especially dedicated and hardworking. He also installed a turnbuckle on my gate to make it more sturdy and honored all of my requests. Their price was on par with other quotes I received, but what really stood out was the team’s attitude and attention to detail. I’m very happy with the finished work and would definitely recommend Cool Cat Fence!”

“Jose and his team did a phenomenal job. They made the entire process smooth and they were super efficient and worked fast. Very impressed with their craftsmanship! I will be recommending him to all my friends! I appreciate all of the inclusion on the project and the effort he put in to communicate with me about everything that was being done. Very happy client!”

“Had cool cat out to replace our fence. Was able to get quotes, and scheduled within a few days. Ruvim was great at explaining things to us and helping make some last minute changes happen. Erick , Vicente and David did a great job helping to make this happen as well.”

“Jesse was professional and informative when he set up our bid. Our foreman Leo and his team built us a beautiful fence and were so fun to work with. They made the experience easy and stress free. They left the place spotless. They were respectful and engaging. I don’t know how their pricing compares to others because they were so easy to work with and so fast to complete my project, I didn’t even search out any other bids! We are so happy!”

“The fence and gates are awesome!! Fernando and his crew were PHENOMENAL! Very respectful, and great communication. So happy with their work!! Would highly recommend them! It was super easy to book, and they were so fast getting it scheduled and completed!”

“Initial Consultation: I had a great initial experience with Phillip Gilbert, the fence consultant from Cool Cat Fence. He made the process easy, answered all my questions, and provided quotes for each fencing style I was considering. I felt comfortable throughout the consultation and never felt pressured. We were also able to schedule our project for the end of the week. Project Coordination: Project Manager Joel reached out to introduce himself, confirm the date and time the crew was scheduled to arrive, and let me know that 811 had been contacted to mark any underground utilities for the project. Although our interaction was limited, I appreciated the clear communication and preparation. On-Site Project Work: Project Foreman Sam Gasporyan also reached out to confirm the project date and time. Sam kept me informed at every step and was excellent to work with, as were the other crew members who completed the project. Overall, my experience with Cool Cat Fence was positive from start to finish. The team communicated clearly, made the process easy to understand, and helped the project move forward smoothly. I appreciated their professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to keepi”

“Honestly a true 5 star service from Top to Bottom! The amount of work these Men did in just 3 days and the quality of work far exceeded my expectations! Vlad and his crew are Beast’s and are the absolute best at what they do hands down. Anybody needing to have a fence removed and replaced look no further honestly. Thank you Vlad and crew and Thank you Cool Cat for running such a wonderful Company from Top to bottom. Never change a thing”

“We had a great experience with Cool Cat Fence. We especially would like to thank Leo, who was the foreman for our project. He was informative and thorough during the process. He and his team worked quickly and efficiently without sacrificing any quality in the job. We would highly recommend them!”

“OH MAN! I cannot say enough good things. Our yard is a mess, we are new home owners and it’s an old old diy house with lots of lumps and bumps and apparently a hornets nest (sorry to the very kind man who got stung). Irvin, our amazing foreman, and his awesome group of guys, got this fence up so fast and it is beautiful. They put up with all the quirks in our yard and made the fence HAPPEN! Also shout out to Mikey who convinced us to go with Cool Cat! All these dudes really are cool cats! And extremely good at what they do. This team clearly worked super well together, and have a great chemistry! You all are amazing, and I cried a little when you left. Thanks a million.”

“We had a great experience working with the Cool Cat team. Gabe was patient and met with us twice to help finalize our design and answer all of our questions. Jose Luis and crew did a fantastic job talking us through the steps and making sure we had input when questions came up. Our fence looks great - thank you!”

“Ruslan and his team arrived on time and did a good job on my Rambler fence. They were quick and made sure I was getting the fence I wanted. They cleaned up as they went, so there was never a mess. I would ask for Ruslan again if needed.”
