“We used Rick's twice now, once for our back deck and once for our front porch. We are very happy with both. Raul & Joel worked on our front porch and they completed on time and did a great job. Job site was cleaned up each day. We will certainly use Rick's again should we have another project and will certainly let friends and neighbors know.”

“The Rick's Fencing team did great work for us. Installers Andrew and Blake did a professional job demoing the old fence and installing posts. We had a bee problem during install – they never complained and powered through to finish. Marshall was our project lead and on top of the install throughout, along with being a good communicator. Our salesperson, Jen, was helpful and knowledgeable at the beginning and end of the project. Rick's wasn't the least or most expensive quote we received. I felt their reasonable price justified their good work.”

“We had them rebuild our fence and redo wood casings on our patio posts. Excellent job with the build for both the fence and post casings. The team that they work with for staining is absolutely phenomenal. The only reason we’re giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because when they made a mistake, they were reluctant to fix it. They fixed it, so we have to give them credit for that (because in the end, the final result was top-notch). But to us, if we’re paying the kind of money we paid for the job, errors should not be made, and if they are made, the customer service should be better when it comes to correcting those mistakes. “We were looking to replace a dilapidated cedar fence and very old gate. I found some beautiful black metal fence toppers I wanted to combine with a cedar fence and a more private but elevated gate. I went into the site on NE Halsey and worked with Brent Holbrook. He was so kind and really worked with us to get everything we wanted. Even adding the fence toppers and a custom gate! They started and completed the job exactly when they said they would. The crew was very kind, concerned about customer satisfaction and did a great clean up. “Marshall B and Andrew M installed our fence and did a great job! We ran into multiple issues due to our yard (level, retaining wall, etc.) They presented multiple options for me every step of the way and were extremely patient. I was having a hard time making choices and they were really kind about it. They were right on time all 3 days, worked really hard while here, and worked right till the end of the day. They both were great guys too! Plus, our fence looks great! Good materials, gorgeous gate, and great craftsmanship.”

“Edit: I'm revising my rating downward. Everything below still applies, but we finally had a free weekend to tackle the dirt pile I mentioned in my original review. It was a LOT more than we bargained for. My wife and I both have injuries, and eventually admitted defeat. We are now trying to find someone to pay to haul it away. After spending a rather sizable portion of our yearly income, this feels like a job left unfinished. Everything else was great, the crew was great, the fence is great, but we are left with a huge pile of dirt and stones and no easy way to get rid of it. I probably won't use Rick's services again. Original review: After 20 years of wanting to replace a falling down fence, we did not enter into this project lightly. We solicited numerous bids and ultimately went with Rick's. They were not the most expensive, but certainly on the higher end of estimates. However, we felt very good about the process. Our salesman, Dan was patient, informative, and answered our questions thoroughly. He also alerted us to a potential code issue which no other estimator had noticed or mentioned. We settled on a design, went through several iterations with Dan's help, and got on the”

“We hired Rick's to replace about 300 broken pickets in our 25 year old vinyl fence. The "estimator" who came out to bid the job, Kris, as well as the crew, Jorge, Marvin, John, and Bill were all very pleasant to work with! They showed up on time, answered our questions cheerfully, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The bid was higher than we expected, but not only did the pickets have to be custom ordered and cut to length, but it was also quite labor-intensive to take apart the old fence in order to remove the old pickets and replace with the new. So we now understand why the labor costs were on the high side.”

“I’d choose literally anyone other than Ricks. Their office staff is incredibly rude, aggressive, disrespectful, unprofessional and their field staff is lazy takes short cuts. They installed a deck and awning to the tune of over 30K in my elderly mother’s home and when asked to come fix some of the sloppy work, they took months to come back out. If it was the busy season, that’s too bad: should have done the work correctly the first time. When they finally came out, they left it worse than before. Their warranty is only as good as the company and clearly that’s not much. I’ll be working on seeking partial refunds for the repairs that will be done by a competent company. I have a lot of time on my hands and a lot of contacts and I’m not going to let them take advantage of my elderly mother in law and Steve can happily have his commission, but I’m not taking this sitting down. I documented everything from the 2nd hang up by the office staff to every single screw that’s messed up.”
