“Working with A-1 was a nightmare. In the end, they did a half-decent job (which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1), but their communication is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The amount of callbacks we had to have because their guys could not complete the scope of work correctly was impermissible, and I had to verify everything multiple times because they kept saying things were complete when they were not.”

“I had a highly disappointing experience with this company. The final product looks ok… However, what should have been a straightforward fence installation for a small yard ended up taking two months due to poor workmanship. Initially, they assigned an unqualified worker, resulting in such a subpar job (pictures included) that they had to remove and completely rebuild the welded panels. Throughout the process, communication was nonexistent—the company never provided updates; I had to reach out every time for information. To make matters worse, I was charged $450 more than the original estimate for requesting the fence be cut shorter. I had inquired about this adjustment when they already determined that panels would have to be rebuilt anyway, and at no point was I informed it would incur additional costs. When I questioned the charge, the owner simply stated that it was outside the contract and that he was already losing money on the project. However, the reality is that the delays and extra costs were a direct result of their own errors in execution. I do not recommend. “Excellent experience. Installed new wifi garage door openers programmed into phone and did some major gate repair on our 2 driveway entrances. They were honest, fair pricing, professional and performed solid, quality work. I would highly recommend A-1 Access and Fence for installations and repairs.
