Texas Best Fence & Patio

Texas Best Fence & Patio runs out of Lewisville, Texas as a fence contractor. The company also takes on carport and pergola builds along with concrete and deck work. Colby Coward owns the business. They install wood fences, metal fences, automatic gates, board-on-board styles, patio covers, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, retaining walls, and stamped concrete across the Dallas-Fort Worth area that includes Carrollton, Dallas, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, and The Colony.

Homeowners bring them fence replacements, privacy fences, and backyard projects that include retaining walls. Andrea handles estimates and keeps the schedule moving without surprises on fence jobs. Angel and his crew show up, explain each step, and adjust when needed. Dustin leads consultations, answers neighbor questions, and checks progress daily on privacy fences and concrete patios. Greg Sain manages patio and outdoor kitchen builds. Sean Martinez coordinates multi-trade backyard work and keeps timelines tight even after rain. Adam and Arturo run crews that deliver straight fences, working gates, and clean sites.

They return calls fast, send updates by text and email, and finish jobs in one or two days when possible. Crews tear out old material, haul it away covered, and leave yards ready to use. Prices land competitive against other bids while hitting every item on customer checklists. Service stays inside the listed North Texas towns and surrounding communities.

Reviews give the company top marks for straight work, functional gates, and solid communication across fence, patio, and retaining wall jobs. Customers note crews that stay professional, answer questions on site, and return for final checks. Project managers like Dustin Evans, Greg Sain, and Sean Martinez get repeated credit for keeping everything on track from first visit to final inspection.

“Customer Service is alive and well at Texas Best Fence! Andrea listened and helped guide me in the whole fence replacement process. We spent enough time to make sure everything was going to be exactly what I wanted. Once the order was placed she was great at following up, helping to guide scheduling along the way, and make sure there were no surprises before during and after! When Angel and his team showed up, their communication was excellent! I knew what they were doing the whole way and if any surprises came up, he was very quick to get me involved and point out anything in the order that needed to be tweaked or adjusted. Angel and his crew were obviously very proud of their work and wanted to make sure I was going to be happy with my investment. You could tell that they took pride in the product they were delivering. We have worked hard at creating a beautiful backyard oasis and Andrea, Angel and their teams at Texas Best Fence helped us take it to the next level of completion!”

“We had an excellent experience with Dustin and his crew at Texas Best Fence and Patio. From the very beginning, Dustin was incredibly informative during the initial consultation and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free. He stayed in communication every step of the way, which we really appreciated. What really stood out was that he even helped us navigate questions with our neighbors, which went above and beyond. The quality of the work was outstanding, and the job was completed in a very timely manner. We are so happy with our new privacy fence and would absolutely recommend Texas Best Fence and Patio to anyone looking for quality work and great customer service!”

“We absolutely love our new fence! Our whole experience with TBFP has been fantastic from start to finish. Dustin Evans listened carefully to our needs and checked progress daily until the project was complete. The craftsmanship is superb! The fence is straight and plumb and the gates swing and latch perfectly. When it’s was all wrapped up we were paid a visit by the owner Colby Coward to ensure that we were satisfied. When the city inspector came to inspect to make sure it was in compliance with the standards required for our new pool, he said I don’t know why I even bother to look, this company is always spot on. Great company! Look no further!!”

“All I can say is I have never been more impressed with the level of service and quality of work that we received on our new patio. I highly recommend this company for any job that you are looking for. Our rep, Greg Sain, did such an amazing job in communicating completely across the scope of the project and working with us to fulfill our wishes for a new patio. 10/10 recommend!”

“Dustin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions (I had a checklist). I had several quotes and they were only one of two that checked all the boxes. But to top that, they were the cheapest of all the quotes and they were able to tear down and replace in a day. The crew was very professional and kept the area clean when they were done. I highly recommend.”

“What a pleasure working with Dustin and the entire Texas Best team to get our backyard in shape. Stunning concrete patio work, exactly as in the brochures. We now have a patio that is unique and a place where we can entertain or just enjoy our morning coffee. Thanks for the excellent quality work.”

“I can't offer enough praise for the job these guys did for us. Professional work, great communication, fair pricing, and people that care about your project being perfect. We took several bids before we found Texas Best. Many could've started sooner, but were also much more expensive. It was well worth the short wait!!!”

“Great experience for an absolutely beautiful fence. I own a general contracting company and had many good fence builders that I could have used for the fence at my personal home. I chose Texas Best Fence & Patio due to their reputation and their excellent sales rep, Adam Fakari. Our family is very happy we chose the right company to install our 7 foot tall board-on-board fence. It is absolutely beautiful.”

“The backyard project was extensive. Lots of moving parts and an order of operation that required communication to be on point. Glad I went with Texas Best Fence & Patio! Sean Martinez and his team were outstanding, caring about the timeline and doing everything they could to accommodate. They went above and beyond, from setting posts early so the other trades could get their measurements and lay the foundation properly to making sure the project was complete on time, despite lots of rain. We decided to screen in our patio cover and their team worked with the screen company very well to ensure the project went smooth. You will never find a company that is perfect in every way, but finding a company that treats any issue, no matter how small, with a sense of urgency and care is hard to find. Sean and his team did just that. Well done to all involved! Amazing job!”

“We needed a new fence. We received several estimates and decided on Texas Best Fence and Patio. We used Andrea Patey. She came out, did the estimate, and communicated and met with us through the entire process. It was super easy! They came when they were supposed to be here and did a great job! The fence looks great! I highly recommend Texas Best Fence and Patio if you need a new fence!”

“Texas Best Fence & Patio did an amazing job on our fence!! Board on board, 8ft Japanese Cedar, excellent gates! Super efficient, and the quality was excellent! We have the best fence now in Las Colinas!!! From Adam managing the job throughout, from quote to finish, the crew did an outstanding job! End product and result exceeded our expectations! Permits, No HOA issues etc! Ally in the office also was so responsive and helpful, and made this project a “no stress” transaction !!! Bravo!!! I would recommend this company and I have lived in the Dallas area for decades, this company ROCKS!! Thank you for a great job! J & L”

“I had a new board on board fence installed the other day. I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship that was done. The attention to small details was awesome. If there were any questions or uncertainties they stopped to ask me or call the foreman (Sean Martinez). Everything was cleaned up, head man on job walked the property twice to make sure everything looked good and was cleaned up, he also made sure all gates were working properly. I also noticed the way they loaded up the old fence and tools and trash on their trailer, they made sure nothing would fly off and even covered it up with a tarp before leaving. Sean Martinez was excellent to work with. His knowledge and expertise helped me to make the right decisions about the height, color, trim and kind of wood, I went with cedar. Thank you Sean, I love my new fence!!”

“There is something to be said about the owner of a company coming into your home to work with you and your family on something so special to us. Colby got to our house, heard our ideas and made them come to life. The woodwork is amazing. Arturo and his team did a beautiful job and added extra touches to improve the patio even more. We needed to have the project completed by 26 Dec so that we could host a going away party for our son and this team made that happen. We had zero issues and complete professionalism the entire time. Colby became a part of our family and we have appreciated every single minute that this team put into completing this. We would recommend Texas Best to anyone, hands down we made the right choice and will be working with them again in the near future.”

“We are absolutely delighted with our new outdoor kitchen! It has completely transformed our backyard into a wonderful space for entertaining. We are so happy with the results and the exceptional service we received from Greg Sain. Greg was able to navigate scheduling conflicts and our evolving vision as it unfolded like a truly seasoned pro. Thank you for creating such a beautiful and functional addition to our home.”

“Our backyard was in dire need of a new fence and retaining wall. After researching multiple fence companies, we made the decision to go with Texas Best Fence & Patio. Andrea was the project manager that worked with us. She is very knowledgeable and was quite helpful in making recommendations and answering any questions. The crew that came onsite was awesome. They built a new fence and retaining wall better than we had even hoped for. We’re glad we chose Texas Best Fence and Patio for our project.”

“Texas Best Fence & Patio did a great Job. From start to finish, we have been impressed. Dustin transformed an idea into real life, provided a detailed and competitive quote, and was flexible with our start date. He answered all of our small questions, and was easy to reach. The entire ground team that completed the work was efficient and flexible. The finished fence and landscaping is beautiful and based on how excited my husband was, you would think it is Christmas in September. Thanks to Dustin and the entire team!”

“The fence turned out so beautiful! Professional installers. Knowing that we had dogs and that being without a fence was a hardship, the crew worked extra long hours to get the entire yard fenced in 2 days! The quality is amazing and the attention to detail was superb. They left the yard clean and ready for us to enjoy!”

“Texas Best Fence and Patio did an excellent job building our patio cover. Sean was great to work with. We were out of town a majority of the time during construction, and he kept us updated by text and email. We appreciate him providing pictures of the work in progress. We are very pleased with the finished product and highly recommend them.”

“We really can’t think of a thing that this company could have improved upon. We had a majorly ugly, old, fallen fence and we received many quotes. Texas Best Fence and Patio had the most value by far. With such a fair price, we were so impressed with the quickness of the build, removal, and overall aesthetic of the fence installed. What a difference! We are really happy we chose this company - Dustin, our project manager was very communicative and experienced. Thank you for helping us. We will choose y’all again for our next project for sure!”

“The fence is beautiful, put up timely and on estimate. Communicqtion issues aside, I fully recommend Trexas Best foe any project!”
