Texas Fence and Pergola

Texas Fence and Pergola handles fencing work in Lubbock, Texas. Steven runs the company and they install residential and commercial fences, build pergolas, do metal fabrication, and pour concrete. They handle new fence jobs from start to finish along with repairs and add-ons like gates and dog runs. The business stays open during normal hours and takes calls for estimates at the number listed on their site.

Customers call them for storm-damaged fences after high winds and hail, old cedar picket replacements with board-on-board styles, and new pergolas or pavilions to cut sun and add shade. Crews named Steve, James, Austin, Adrian, Ramon, and Johnny have torn out broken sections, added concrete bases with steel poles, stained wood, and built strong gates that hold up. One job included a dog run to keep pets inside the yard while another fixed a loose pole at no extra cost during a pergola build.

They show up on the days they promise, keep the site clean each evening, and stay in touch about progress even on multi-day projects. Reviewers note fair pricing, quick responses to questions, and crews that work long hours without leaving messes. The company covers Lubbock and sticks to schedules while making room for small changes mid-job. One reviewer waited two weeks without an estimate, but most say the crew arrives ready and finishes without delays.

“We absolutely love our new fence! This company was amazing to work with, as well. They gave us a time frame and stuck to it, and the work crew was detail-oriented and very professional. We even made an addition about 3/4 of the way through the project, and they were super accommodating. I can't say enough great things about them! Highly recommend!!!”

“We had a pergola built in our back yard. These guys did a fantastic job, working long hours in the heat of the day. We love the look and style of it. The crew was very professional and courteous, they even fixed a pole in my fence that was loose at no charge. I will definitely use them again for any future work we might need. Thank you Steve, keep up the good work.”

“Texas Fence and Pergola did an outstanding job on our project! They tore down our old cedar picket fence and installed a gorgeous new board-on-board cedar fence. Since it was a large job that took multiple days, we were especially grateful for how attentive they were to keeping our yard secure overnight. Their pricing was extremely fair, the craftsmanship was top-tier, and the final result is stunning. We couldn't be happier with our new fence and highly recommend them!”

“After the huge summer storm of 2025 in Lubbock Texas, our fence was left battered by hail and strong winds. Texas Fence and Pergola worked seamlessly with us to not only fix and beautifully restore our existing fence, but they also built a brand new pergola that complimented the gorgeous restored fence in our backyard! “Texas Fence promised they would finish the fence and they delivered! They kept us in the know of what was happening. We absolutely love the new fence. They also provided a dog run to keep my dog in the yard. I highly recommend Texas Fence and Pergola. (Sorry this was the only picture I had available)…but trust me it looks great! We added the concrete base, steel poles and upgraded fences.”

“I could not say enough about this company. From the quote, to the instalation they were very professional. Great quality, attention to detail, great clean up. I am very satisfied with my fence and pergola as well as the folks that helped me and the crew was polite and respected my property and they even were genuinely kind to my dogs that kept them company while they worked.”

“We had a fence installed and then they stained by it. They did a great job. They were clean and professional. The price was fair. They were timely with the work. They installed a new gate that was strong and will last a long time.I would use them again. I would recommend that you use them if you need a new fence. More photos to be posted.”

“I typically don’t look at reviews but in this case I had. Looking from their photos I thought their work looked like good quality. Requested an estimate to replace a small fence from the owner. I am sure he is a busy person but it felt as if I was bothering him at the time. Waited almost 2 weeks and never received an estimate or any other kind of response. I wish I had read the reviews, it seems like the company has communication issues.”

“Texas Fence & Pergola built 2 pergolas in our small backyard space on the west side of our house to cut down on the heat and sun in the afternoon. We are very happy with the workmanship, the communication and the sturdiness. The look great. The construction crew was very efficient working long hours and did a wonderful job of building and cleaning up after. The staining crew was excellent as well - this was no quick spray job. They spent the time to do it right and make sure all surfaces were covered. We are looking forward to many years of enjoyment outside under these beautiful pergolas and when it's time to re-stain them, as well as our fence, I won't hesitate to call them again. Thanks a million!”

“Steve was helpful and very responsive to all my questions. His contractors/crew were knowledgeable and professional. Everyone cleaned up after themselves, leaving the area very neat and tidy. Work was completed on time, and without delay. Communication was wonderful. People showed up when scheduled. The pergola is beautiful and the crew even moved my large chiminea into place! 😊 Ramon and his team did a fantastic job on the stamped concrete! Ramon was extremely patient as we worked together to find the right colors and pattern. Johnny did a beautiful job on the stain and there is no trace of stain anywhere except where it’s supposed to be…on the fence and the pergola. Nothing on the driveway or metal posts or hardware or grass areas. Great job by everyone! Thanks.”
