“When my wife solicited the name of a good fence company in The Woodlands from various online forums, Rios Fence was at the top of the list. Ernesto and his crew came lover last night and then again this morning to replace 9 metal fence posts for us. Instead of replacing sections of the fence, they repaired them on-site saving me money (but less money in their pocket). Pricing was very reasonable, and I am very pleased with the results and my interactions with Ernesto (who owns this family run business). Would highly recommend Rios Fence. **Note - It looks several months from the initial estimate until the work was started/completed. This was made clear from the beginning (although an exact timeframe for completion was notc ommunicated). When I asked, Ernesto explained that he simply cannot get enough workers to meet demand. They did not deposit my check until starting work.”

“Our builder used Rios to put our fence in 3 years ago. The small garden gate is falling apart. I called them and Ernesto said it was because someone closed the gate to hard. Said he would give us a estimate to repair. So far no response nor backing of their work. We also contacted them last year when the big storm in June took out a 75’ section of fence. They sent someone out to look and give us a bid to repair and never heard a word back with a price or to say they weren’t interested in the job. I contacted them this past December to get a quote on a wrought iron fence and gate for our front yard and they never bothered to give a call back. My experience with this company has obviously been horrible. I would not recommend and if you do use them beware.”

“I called in to get a quote on a high end pedestrian gate and they paired me with Steve. It went well at first, because he was responsive and a nice fellow. I asked for a rough idea of what the metal and cedar fat would cost. He told me it would be roughly 600-800 dollars but couldn’t be exact. I was extremely happy with this and knowing it was a rough price I wasn’t counting on it but told Rios to move forward with painting the posts so I could get them set so the builders could make the fence where the post were. He said I could pick them up on Friday (tomorrow). I check in this afternoon with Steve and ask if they will be ready. He texts back that the price will be 2250.00 for the gate. Mind you two other vendors had quoted other than Rios and were higher but I wanted Rios for quality. I dropped them for Rios because they could get me the posts fast painted. Steve and his team put me in a horrible spot of now not having any posts and no vendor to provide the based on a very poor guess. Steve told me because the fabricator was probably having a bad day he wanted way more Money. I want a vendor who bases his prices on unit measurement and I will not be using or recomme”

“Made an appointment and they were no shows. Called and set another appointment with Steve. He shows, an hour late. I explain the project and he sends me a estimate quickly. The estimate isn't correct, not what we talked about. I send him a crude but detailed drawing asking for an updated estimate. Waited two weeks, no response. I moved on to a different company. I can't speak to their work, they look like they do quality work, but they are unprepared and lacking on the business side.”

“Scheduled an appointment for an estimate for extensive iron fencing to be added to the back of our property. Scheduled an 8:30 AM appointment due to our work schedules. Unfortunately, Ernesto was a no show. I called the office and was given a very poor excuse as to why the owner was unavailable to make our appointment. Had I not called to inquire, they would have simply not communicated anything to me. Very unprofessional all around.”

“If I could give this company no stars I would! Came out and gave an estimate and decided to go with this company, especially from what we heard from others. They were suppose to come out on the Friday of Labor Day weekend and we waited, and waited and no call, no show. We decided to give them a call to see where Ernesto or his crew were. We were told “oh you didn’t get a call?” He can’t come out today. Well was then suppose to come out Tuesday finally came out after 4, just him so we knew no work was going to be done! And there was none done. So he said he had to get something else and will be completed Wednesday and they would be out by 10am... well again it was 10:40am and no call, no show! We called them and talked to receptionist and she said Steve was suppose to call you and tell you we need to quote you another charge for a solar panel, then we’ll come out... seriously are you kidding me! We were told that the solar panel was included and everything was quoted and ready to go, then this. I don’t think so, we canceled the job and went and picked up our deposit check. Worst customer service experience we have ever experienced! We picked up the check and there were no apologies,”

“Very poor support for the products they install. I had alot of work done, horse fence and solar gate w/opener. I have had nothing but trouble with this gate. I keep leaving messages with Earnesto to come out and fix the opener from an error message. For almost 3 weeks i have left numerous messages but he doesn't respond. No one in office cares either, very lazy people who don't care about standing behind what they construct. Don't use they guys!!! Very poor overall!!!”
