ReCon Fence takes on fencing work in Mesquite. Gary handles sales and owns the company alongside Andy as partner and lead on installs with Randy helping on crews. They handle new builds, full replacements, minor repairs, re-staining, wood styles like board on board or side by side, and iron fence setups. Customers reach them for storm damage fixes, backyard transformations, and gate additions while the team protects pools, plants, and furniture on site before starting.

Reviews describe jobs replacing back fences with quick written estimates that include style options, complete yard redos on challenging terrain, wrought iron installs with welded sections, and staining work after initial builds. Gary and Andy meet owners at properties to walk through plans, clarify details during construction, and adjust for requests like temporary gates for dogs. Crews haul away old fence and trees, finish most projects in two days, and address small issues right away once noticed.

They respond fast with on-site quotes, keep owners updated by phone throughout the day, and stick to schedules even when weather delays staining. Pricing lands in the middle or lower compared to other bids received, they use their own crews instead of subs, and they clean up fully at the end. Work covers the local area with owners like Gary available by text on weekends for updates.

The outfit holds a five star rating from sixty seven reviews. Recurring points include honest dealings without shortcuts, sturdy results that hold up, efficient crews such as Andy and Randy, and competitive numbers paired with clear communication from start to finish.

“I hired ReCon Fence to do a few minor repairs to our fence along with re-staining the entire fence. The work done was truly a five star job. The crew was very professional; they covered the pool, protected all the plants and moved the patio furniture to a safe location before starting the job. The fence looks amazing!!! Recon Fence gets my highest recommendation!”

“ReCon did an excellent job. We needed to replace our back fence. They were able to come out quickly and give us a written estimate with different options for board on board versus side by side. ReCon's quote was the middle out the 3 estimates we received. We felt comfortable going with ReCon, based the great conversation we had with Gary and their numbers of years in business. The job was completed in two days and they accommodated a couple of other request we had once the job started. The crew was great in clarifying what we wanted during the build. Everything was cleaned up and the old fence taken away.”

“Team did an amazing job on our fence! We had several quotes and they were very competitive. They also hauled the trees and old fence away.”

“I am beyond satisfied with the work that Recon completed at my property. They were very quick to come out and provide a quote (he was able to do it on site!) He offered his professional opinions on the best setup given what my goals were. The installation was very good as well. The project manager met me at property before the crew arrived, then walked me and the crew around the location to be sure it was perfect. They were not only fast, but the quality is impeccable. The project manager called throughout day and confirmed the progress and the crew was extremely friendly and aware of my needs to have a closed fence for my dog. They put temporary gates in and the gates installed the next day. As I walked around my property the next day, I was grateful to see that the had removed all the trash from the prior fence and their debris from the install. Highly recommended”

“Andy and his team were amazing, his team worked quick and answered any questions I had along the way as they built my fence. I would recommend ReCon Fence to anyone looking for a company with integrity and high quality work.”

“Recon Fence and Roofing gets my highest praise! I had hail damage to my home and was in need of a general contractor. A friend recommended them and they did an Amazing job repairing the damage to my roof and gutters. Andy and his crew along with Kenet helped me with navigating the claim process and their crew was extremely efficient. Start to finish they had everything done in 2 days. If you are in need of a roofing contractor I recommend Recon Fence and Roofing!”

“Recon Fence Company did a great job on my fence. They are easy to work with and honest. They do not cut corners and provide a quality fence that will last.”

“Need a fence replaced? Don’t waste your time looking for anyone else. We could not be more pleased with our new fence. The crew was efficient, friendly and very skilled. It was a challenging terrain. High quality work competively priced.”

“I am so glad that we chose Recon to completely redo our fence. It was damaged in a storm a few weeks ago, but it was time for the entire thing to be replaced. Gary was seamless and personable. He provided us with an estimate on the spot and said that he could start on the work by the next week and that it would be finished within 2 days. His word was bond and everything was done just as he said it would be. We will be using his services again in the future. 10/10 highly recommend using Gary for your fencing services!”

“Cedar fence was completed in 2 days as quoted. It looks great and the few minor issues that I noticed were immediately addressed by Andy and have now been taken care of. Thank you for a great job and customer service.”

“This business earned my 5 starts + rating. It was a pleasure doing business with this Company, starting from Gary (sales and owner) to the installers (Andy. partner owner) and Randy (installer helper). I got quotes from three other companies that were 30% to 150% higher than what I got from Recon Fence for the same running feet. None of those provided guarantees for workmanship except saying "we will fix any issue you may have". So, I decided to go with Recon Fence. Gary, Andy and Randy showed up at the scheduled time and began the work. During the process of the installation ( this is for a iron fence), I was asked and approved variances when needed to complete the job to my satisfaction without additional cost to me. Every last minute change was free of charge. The end product/installation was perfect and what I expect. I would highly recommend Recon Fence for your metal fence installation. Price was the lowest I had from my three quotes. They always say "never select the lowest price on a job because the Company will cut corners" this was not the case with Recon Fence, they were the lowest, I took a chance and happy I did.”

“Had them come out and put up a deck. I had plans fro what I was going to do, and they came out and improved on those. Adding supports, leveling it, doing a nice fitted cutout and concrete pad for a hottub, etc. I'm pretty sure that my house will blow away before the deck does. Turned out great, and I am loving it. So do my dogs who can now lay out in the sun without getting eaten up by bugs. Highly recommend. They did such a good job, I had them put up a front gate as well.”

“I contacted Gary several months ago to obtain an estimate for a new fence for my yard. He met me at the property, listened to my concerns and made me feel like he actually cared, unlike some of the other companies I contacted. To them I was just another way for them to make a profit. I kept Gary informed of the progress of my other projects so he could schedule accordingly. I contacted him via text on the weekends and expected a call back on Monday, but he would contact me over the weekend instead. His crew cleaned up after themselves and took great pride in their work and my property. I would recommend ReCon Fence to anyone who is looking for someone that is going to be honest and do a fabulous job. Thank you so much Gary and please let your crew know they are appreciated.”

“I vetted 7 fence companies. Gary's approach was absolutely exactly what I needed. Doing the job right means everything to him and his crew. Courteous, timely, expert. They were just excellent. The price of a fence is not the most fun way to spend my money so I needed to feel good about spending the money. Gary beat everyones price but that's not what made this project special. I'm so stoked about how my fence turned out that I'm sending friends videos and pictures of the outcome. I gave out his number twice today as neighbors begin asking who I used... Truly unbelievable job. I wish I could have them do all the work my house needs. Do yourself a favor. Hire Recon for your fence needs!”

“I highly recommend ReCon Fence for all your fence needs. I am pleased with my new fence that they did this week. Gary was very nice and professional as we discussed the project. His crew were polite and very hardworking. They paid attention to details. It was great working with this team!”

“It was a pleasure and great experience working with Gary and his crew when we replaced our fence. They worked with us when we had to remove a big tree before the fence was completed and after when staining was delayed due to our recent storms. You can be sure RECON Fence will provide a product you want.”

“The did an awesome job. I have a beautiful fence. The owner is very nice and makes sure it is done correctly. I was very happy with my experience with all of them. Would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a fence.”

“ReCon Fence is a superior contractor. I am very impressed with their service and the quality of their work. So much so that I am already writing this review and they are still packing up their tools after completing the job. They did repairs, installed new fencing, relocated wrought iron fencing, and were highly responsive to my questions and requests. I love that Gary and Andy have their own crews and not a bunch of subs. Thanks for a job well done!”

“Our home's backyard was transformed beautifully with the addition of ReCon Fence Company's elegant wrought iron fence. The owner promptly addressed our request for a bid which was much lower than other bids and the work was completed from start to finish in less than one week. The quality of welded fence pieces instead of bracketed together was appealing. The crew was efficient, kept their work areas neat and tidy, worked steady and completed a substantial, sturdy, and eye-pleasing fence which should last for ages. Highly recommend this company and all the men who helped us add a beautiful fence to our yard.”

“My experience with Recon Fence was exceptional, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled wood fence builder. They delivered exactly what they promised in the following • Be Specific: Provide details that future customers would find helpful, such as the timeline of the project, any challenges overcome, or special features of the fence. • Honesty: Share both positive aspects and, if applicable, any minor areas where improvement could be made, but always keep the tone constructive.”
