Premier Fence
Fence Builder · Midland, TX
About
Premier Fence works out of 1409 Garden City Hwy in Midland, Texas, as a fence contractor. They install chain link, custom wood, ranch, vinyl, and ornamental fencing plus custom gates and other metal work for homes and businesses across the region. The business lists a phone line at 432-686-7505 for customers seeking a free estimate on these services.
Reviewers describe bids for long privacy fences with sheet metal on concrete footings, solar residential gates, small yard enclosures with new gates, and basic fence repairs. Several report quotes arriving weeks late after repeated follow-ups and landing far above other bids for matching specs, sometimes by thousands of dollars or more than double. Other accounts cover jobs that dragged on for months after a signed quote, with crews showing up unannounced, running short on materials, mixing fence styles on one property, or painting gates and brick without prep work. A few mention Paul when calling about gate prices.
Reviewers note that the first site visit can happen quickly, yet getting a written quote afterward often drags and leads to defensive talks over price differences. Many cite repeated unreturned calls, missed appointment times, and long stretches with no updates after initial contact. Pricing stands out as higher than competing bids in the same area for comparable work. The company serves residential and commercial customers in the Midland region.
Most of the available reviews rate the company one or two stars and point to repeated problems with quotes, timelines, and keeping in touch. Two reviews give five stars and note helpful staff along with solid results on a gate and a quick fence build that matched the requested specs. The Google profile lists a 3.2 rating with no reviews attached.

What Customers Say
“2 stars because they were prompt in coming out to look at the project, but the experience went downhill from there. I had to follow up to get my quote, and when it finally arrived it was more than double the other quotes I received for the same project. When I called to ask for a breakdown and understand the difference, the conversation became defensive rather than informative. I can’t speak to the quality of their work since I didn’t hire them, but the communication and quoting process left me disappointed.”
“I cannot speak to the quality of work done. It very well might be excellent. I can say, however, that their free estimate was almost $2,000 more than another competing company's bid for nearly identical specs, and I thought the other company's quote was outrageous. Like I have been told by many insurance agents, realtors, and other professionals of many walks of life. Midland price gouging is very real. I see. I see. Will go with neither company.”
“I do not recommend. It took this company over 4 months to complete a very small job and it was a terrible experience. They lack in communication skills, they are very lazy, and do NOT stand behind their word. We signed a quote and never heard back from the company for 2 months. Randomly one day I came home to my fence down and workers in my yard. (I have dogs!!!) The excuse was “I left you a voicemail this morning that we were coming sometime today.” They did not order enough fencing, so they put up 2 DIFFERENT fences on this SMALL yard. The workers had to paint a new gate going up, and did not prep my brick before hand, so they just painted my brick with it. On one side of my house, the workers did not feel the need to make the fence go all the way up to my house...when I asked about it, he nailed a random board to to end so my small dogs could not get around the bottom. The owner would not listen to me about the issues I had and the completed project. I do not recommend this company.”
“This company does not show up for appointments. I do not recommend wasting your time calling Premier Fence. They blew their chance at a $37,000 new fence project because they would not show up for a simple fence repair. If you want professionalism look elsewhere.”
“Don't use Premier. The radio ad sounds so good but I can't even get a call back from Paul. Last Monday I called about a job on Cardinal Lane. Talked to Paul. Called again on Tuesday and Paul promised to have me a price that day on a solar residential gate. That was a week ago and still no call. Beware. - Terry.”
“I had this company give us an estimate for a 230' privacy fence 8' tall with sheet metal on a 4"x16" concrete footing for an amount of $26,000. We called Triple T fence company for the exact same fence and was quoted $13,500. Needless to say, we went with Triple T.”
“If you can even get them to show up, the work is subpar. You'll pay thousands of dollars just to find that the work needs repairs, then they expect you to pay another few thousand for them to fix the same work they couldn't do right the first time.”
“I did not have a good experience with Premier fence. I had a man come out to give me a bid I'm getting something has replaced and a gate put in and I tried to contact them every other week for about three months and kept getting the runaround. And still never got the bid or any kind of email stating that they can't do the job or won't do the job. I just gave up!😞”
“The staff at Premier were very helpful and very professional. They worked with us to build an excellent gate. The prices were very fair.Thank you Premier Fence. We'll be back!!!”
“They did a great job. Our fence was built exactly how I wanted it. Very quick and efficient. I will definitely use them again”
“Over Priced. We went with Texas Fabrication and Fencing.”
