Cornerstone Fencing Inc

Cornerstone Fencing Inc handles fencing and gate work out of Oregon City. They focus on custom driveway gates, automated gate systems, wood gates, ornamental fencing, and standard installations for both homes and commercial sites across the Portland metro area plus parts of Oregon and Washington. Long-term employees took over after the original owner retired, and names like Craig handle sales visits while Justin and Kevin lead on installs and repairs. They build gates and fences to fit specific property needs like slopes or security requirements.

Homeowners call them for new custom driveway entries after years with manual gates, fixes on jammed openers right before holidays, replacements for old falling fences, and iron or aluminum security setups around cemeteries and campuses. Craig measures on site and works up quotes that beat other bids, while crews handle design changes mid-project and get everything running on time. One job involved pulling a gate for powder coat touch-ups and reinstalling it weeks later, and another had them swap a full opener system on Christmas Eve so a family could host guests the next day.

They show up when promised, keep in touch during planning and install, and leave sites clean once the work finishes. Quotes land competitive for the quality level, and they cover both small side-yard fixes and bigger commercial fencing runs without extra delays. Service stays local to the metro area with crews that coordinate directly with customers on details like gate controls or material matches.

Reviewers give them a 4.8 from 55 Google reviews, with steady notes on the solid craftsmanship, clear communication from the crew, and how the finished gates and fences hold up well. Recurring comments highlight the professionalism on both residential and commercial jobs plus the way they sort out problems fast. DIRT Score 4.4 from 55 reviews on Finds.

“High quality craftsmanship and best customer service I’ve had. Craig at Cornerstone was super knowledgeable. He came out and took all the measurements for my new fence and gates and had everything custom made to fit my property. Couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. After the experience I had, I wouldn’t trust any other company to handle the security around my property. Thanks for the awesome work!”

“After living in a home for almost 13 years with a manual entrance gate, I decided it was time for a change. For the first few years I lived there i never thought twice when jumping out of the truck in the rain, hail, sleet and snow to open the gate, then back in the truck to close the other side before finally hitting the road. Upon receipt of multiple bids, I decided to go with Cornerstone Fencing, and I couldn't be happier. They have been in business for 40 + years with a great track record. When the original owner retired he sold the company to some long-term employees. From start to finish, I never doubted I'd made the right choice. They sell the best products, use the highest quality materials, offer a meticulous design/install process from very knowledgeable and friendly employees, all priced a bit less than the competition. Even the owners worked on the install, ensuring the project was completed in a timely manner. They designed a gate and fence that met my criteria of providing ease and convenience that substantially decreases the time it takes to enter and exit my property. I view it as the jewel in the crown of my curb appeal. I get an increased and enhanced se”

“Their attention to detail, expertise and quality work surpassed our expectations. Customer service was wonderful. We would highly recommend.”

“This is a fantastic company. Their employees are top notch. I recommend anyone looking for gate or fence service to give them a call.”

“Cornerstone was excellent across the board. The entire team was responsive in communication and great to work with. We did a custom design driveway entry gate and, to better accommodate the driveway slope, had to make a significant design change along the way. The design team provided good guidance and feedback and produced excellent prototype drawings. The installation team was first rate with excellent communication, and getting the details right was clearly important to them. Pricing was reasonable for a high quality end product. I would highly recommend Cornerstone for any driveway gate project.”

“Cornerstone Fencing did an excellent job in installing a new iron gate for a fence that was past due for a replacement for Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Very professional and great service.”

“Cornerstone crew were the absolute most professional, respectful, knowledgeable and very helpful with all the gate questions we had. If you have any gate/fencing needs this company will go above & beyond to take care of you. Give them a call.”

“Our gate opener stopped working a week before Christmas. Justin came out with another employee and got one side working before they could get parts to fix the system. The other side also jammed on Dec 23rd. Justin came back on Christmas Eve and replaced the entire system and got everything working before we had a lot of guest arriving for our Christmas party on the 25th. These guys installed our gate and gate opener originally 10 years ago and did an amazing also back then. We've had them service our gate throughout the years. They do great work, and this time, when we were in a jam (literally), they came through as always. If you need a driveway gate, gate opener, or anything else that Cornerstone Fencing provides, I would highly recommend them. The staff are great, the prices are reasonable, and they do amazing work.”

“So pleased with the entire experience with Cornerstone. The gate was exactly what we imagined. The sales process was a breeze. The installation team was knowledgeable and helpful. Only regret is not installing a gate sooner.”

“Cornerstone did a magnificent job on our security fence. They had materials that fit our campus perfectly. The installation process went off without a hitch. The work crew at Cornerstone was very professional as they worked hard and coordinated with me throughout all the planning and installation phases. I would, without a doubt, utilize their services again! Well done Cornerstone!”

“We have had a very good experience with Cornerstone Fencing. We contacted Craig after seeing so many strong referrals on Google and Yelp and we appreciated the fact that Craig offered to come out and discuss our thoughts and desires right away. Upon discussing our situation and getting his recommendations regarding the size and style of gate and accompanying black metal fencing, we felt extremely comfortable working with Craig. Furthermore, we found Craig’s quote to be more than competitive. The Cornerstone installation team did an excellent job of installing the gate and fencing and we couldn’t be more pleased.”

“Cornerstone Fencing designed built and installed our driveway gate several years ago and it turned out awesome. Recently I noticed a flaw with the powder coating on our gate. I contacted Craig about the issue along with several photos. The Cornerstone team removed our gate had the powder coating baked off and re powder coated and reinstalled in several weeks time. Craig in Sales and Justin and Kevin who removed and reinstalled the gate were fantastic to work with. They did everything promised and then some with exceptional customer service!”

“Cornerstone fencing has done our new homes wood fence around the back as well as aluminum front fence and our automatic gate. Their pricing was wonderful and our builder likes them so much he wanted their info for future homeowners. We have been working with Craig from the sales side and Kyle from the manufacturing side(of the gate) both have had great communication and lots of site visits to ensure a smooth system. I referred them to my sister and another friend and each was blown away and thankful for the reference. You can’t go wrong with Cornerstone Fencing(and gates)”

“Cornerstone was really easy to work with. They were referred to me by my brother who had some work done with them and had great things to say. Craig stopped by to give us an estimate and it came in at a great price compared to a few other companies. They did our side fence that we share with a neighbor and the bottom part of our fence that was falling over. It took them about 1 day total to take out the fence and build a new one. We barely noticed that the guys were even at our house! Craig is very friendly, professional and prompt with communication. If i ever need another fence they would be my go to!”

“Craig came out and discussed our project on-site. He listened to what we wanted and made sure we fully understood the process. Leading up to the install he was available to answer questions. He and Justin did a phenomenal job. Timely, professional, and cleaned up at the end. I would definitely use Cornerstone again in the future.”

“Cornerstone installed a steel fence for us in order to protect our kids from falling off the retaining wall. They were great! Quick, responsive, fairly priced and considerate. Craig came out to see what work needed to be done and got it going right away. Hayden checked in both days before arrival and answered all questions I had. Would definitely use again and recommend to neighbors. Thank you!”

“We had a beautiful iron with cedar gate installed and cornerstone fencing did an amazing job from beginning to end. Absolutely love the gate and it works great by solar only. Perfect thank you such hard working professionals.”

“The team at Cornerstone is top notch. They did great work on our metal fencing and custom gate project. Everyone from the office, shop, and field crew was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them for any future project.”

“The Cornerstone team was exceptionally helpful from the planning stage through setting up controls to use our new gate. We've referred them several times and will continue to do so. They are an awesome team who works together, and with the client, seamlessly. Highly recommend!”

“Justin and Kevin did an amazing job on our gate! They were extremely professional and respectful to our property! They paid attention to all the little details and it really shows in their work. I’ve recommended them to all of our friends! You won’t be disappointed!”
