American Fence Co Inc

American Fence Co Inc takes on fencing projects from its base in Redmond. The company installs fences on commercial and residential sites, rents temporary panels through its American Rent-A-Fence service, and sells materials such as posts, hardware, and panels. Crews handle both new builds and repairs, with written line-item scopes and a final walkthrough to close out each job. They keep a Wichita branch address and phone line for quotes and orders.

Homeowners and contractors describe jobs that involve setting posts one day, letting them cure, then hanging fence and gates the next. Mike often handles the measuring and property line checks, while Roger focuses on the install work with steady pace and clean results. Other customers buy materials for self-installs and get help cutting galvanized poles to length or locating hard-to-find items like U-shaped steel posts and 9-gauge wire. Dustin has delivered panels to homes when buyers lacked a truck, and Robbie has walked through options to work around landscaping during full residential projects.

The operation runs with crews that answer calls promptly and keep customers updated through each step. Materials stay in stock for fast counter service or yard pickup, and staff adjust latches or load orders on the spot. Hours run Monday through Friday from early morning until mid-afternoon. Reviews note competitive pricing on both installs and bulk material orders, with service that covers the Wichita area and nearby parts of South Central Kansas.

The company carries a Google rating of 4.3 from 66 reviews. Common points include staff knowledge on parts, quick turnaround on measurements and installs, and reliable stock for contractors doing their own work. A few notes mention problems with old fence removal or neighbor yard access during jobs. DIRT Score 3.8 from reviews on Finds.

“Mike was very responsive and accommodating. He came right out to get with me and measured up. Staying in touch with him was very easy..much appreciated! Then, Roger showed..installed posts 1 day..let cure next day.. hung fence and gates on 3rd day. Roger’s a machine. Precise with no wasted motion! Fence looks great. American Fence is Legit and would recommend them to anyone.”

“The gentlemen that helped me were amazing! I appreciate them cutting the galvanized poles I needed to length. Even when they had to do it twice because I miss measured! Thank you for helping me get my swingset up and going!”

“Mike did a great job measuring and finding the property makers and Roger did a great job installing. Very happy with the results!”

“Helpful and customer service oriented. They took the time to help me design and get all the parts I needed for a self-installed wrought iron fence.”

“While I did not purchase a fence from this place, my neighbor did. The installer placed wooden slats in our yard without asking for permission. While they did ask permission to use my yard, they knocked the head off my Holy Family Statue and did not notify me in any way. Do not use this company if this is how they treat your neighbors. Also, they left a bunch of screws on my side of the fence too.”

“I wanted to give a shout out to Dustin. Came in to but 2 panels of fence, had in stock, paid, everything went great. One problem, didn't have a truck. He stepped up, said he'd bring them by my house. Helped me out so much. Great company, great people . Thanks again, Dustin”

“I need a lot of high quality 9 gauge 6' fence. American Fence has the commercial fence at great prices! They also got me a manual and gave me pricing on the posts and hardware! I'll make the 2.5 hour drive again when I need more fencing! Highly recommend!”
