“I couldn't get anyone to call me back to even talk with them about fencing our 2 acre property in Sammamish. Janice, who initially took my message, said she would ask Joe to call me back. When he didn't, I called Janice back and found out that apparently she had forgotten to give Joe my message. Then, I called Joe myself and left him a vmail msg, but he didn't return my call. I gather from their lack of responsiveness that customer service isn't a high priority, they must have so much work that they're not interested in our project, or they don't the horse fencing we're looking for (post and rail fencing with no climb wire). I was really hopeful that they would be the right team for our project, so it's disappointing to find out that they emphatically aren't.”

“Poor craftsmanship and lack attention to detail. Waited about month to have them come back out to fix a gate that hit the ground when it was halfway open. Top caps to posts were nailed on with incorrect fasteners and came off with a slight pull of my hand. Dissatisfied with product and quality, especially given the price.”

The guys were fast, efficient, friendly, and most important, they did beautiful work. They were very considerate of our requests and needs. The crew went above and beyond to make the repair. Kathy was also super helpful in the office. “We recently had Economy Fence handle two fencing projects for us. First, we wanted to repair a section of wood fence that had separated and was leaning due to several posts that had rotted. Second, we wanted to replace a 100 foot chain link backline fence with a cedar fence that fit with the rest of the neighborhood. Jackson was the foreman on the job. He and his crew were friendly, professional, and informative as they went about their work. On the first day, they tore out the chain link fence and the rotted wood fence, and set up new post-on-pipe fenceposts. They waited a day for the cement to set, and then came back. On the second day, they got a rhythm going and completed both projects. I also had good experiences with the estimator, scheduler, and accountant as well as the crew that actually installed the fences. Well done, Economy Fence Center!”

“Crew used the hose bib and water without asking. They used it improperly and caused major flooding in the crawl space. We had to call a licensed plumber and he issued a written statement stating that the water damage was caused by the crew improperly using the hose bib. Economy fence denied any responsibility. Fence work was good but poor leadership and accountability.”

“Edit - 1 day after I reviewed, Joe reached out after my review and gave me a competitive quote. While I got a better quote, I really respect an establishment that responds to reviews quickly and course corrects. Original- Heard good reviews of this company, but had a bad experience. They gave a consultation appointment 2 weeks away. When Joe came in, he left without informing within 5 mins of coming to the home. The main office is unable to get hold of him and keeps leaving him messages but he hasnt responded for 3 days. We ended up spending time and effort to be home. Unfortunately it seems very similar to the other 1 star reviews for this place.”
