About

Bill's Fence Co handles fencing work out of Sherwood in Arkansas. The company installs fences and gates for homes, farms, and businesses throughout Arkansas and Texas. Their services cover privacy fences, round rail, picket styles, enclosures with gates, custom railings, and fabricated gates. Crews work from the Cabot address listed on their site and handle projects that include material delivery and final walkthroughs.

Customers report jobs such as privacy fences where posts needed fixing by Dale and his crew, dumpster enclosures built by Ivan and his team with level pickets and tight hardware, and round rail installed on new properties. Some mention Japanese cedar fences or corral styles that came out sturdy after delays from weather. Project coordinator Tori kept one homeowner updated on timelines. A few noted issues like irrigation lines cut during install or boards left loose that showed up months later. Others described gates replaced or historical commission approvals handled for picket designs that kept small dogs contained.

Work happens across Arkansas and Texas with crews that clean up debris each day and return for quality checks after completion. Reviews mention mixed scheduling where deposits led to waits for supplies and some follow-up calls went unanswered until the customer reached out again. Pricing came across as reasonable in direct comparisons, and projects sometimes finished ahead of the original plan when communication stayed steady. Service covers residential yards with tough terrain and commercial spots like offices or schools.

What Customers Say

“The guys from Bill’s Fence did a wonderful job on our property! I do wish that communication had been a little better in the scheduling process. I was not informed until a few weeks after I sent my deposit that the supplies needed for my job were ordered and would still be a while coming in. Other than that, I highly recommend them and will use them again if needed.”

Lori Holbert

“Recently, I had Bill Fencing put up my fence, and one of the posts began to bend. Mr. Dale and his crew helped me, and I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for a privacy fence! Very professional!”

Daniel Collins

“Great experience with this company. We just had an fenced enclosure built for our office dumpster, with gates. Very well built, heavy duty, and looks great. Ivan and his crew did a great job, very clean, and professional. He ensured that we did a walk through after the project was completed. All I can say is impressed. Every picket perfectly level, hardware nice and tight. No doubt this enclosure will serve us for years to come.”

“*Edited to provide context after the owner’s original response* In just 28 linear feet, their workers (knowing that the fence was essentially against a landscaping bed with irrigation), took absolutely no effort (with hand tools mind you) to avoid any of the possible irrigation lines. Rather, it seems they took great pride in severing the flex tubing in 4 places, disposed of an existing riser sprinkler head that was attached to one of those breaks, cracked a main PVC line, and then to top it all off, cut through the all of the main irrigation control wires for the entire system surrounding the house (and of course during one of the hottest periods of the summer). Required a $550 payment for irrigation company to fix everything. And while I understand the contract waives them of their legal responsibilities, there exists a moral obligation when the disregard for property is so excessive in such a small, limited run of fencing. When I calmly asked about any “meet in the middle” discussions regarding the repairs, I was quickly told by the office sales rep it wasn’t their problem… “why would they even want to discuss that with us.”Understood. I’ve paid your invoice in full (invoi”

“The crew that worked on the fence were very efficient and nice. The Japanese Cedar is beautiful.”

Kathy Kemp

“I had round rail installed on a newly purchased property and I am very pleased with my fence! I was kept up to date with material delivery and installation times due. Due to the recent rain we've had, it delayed my project. My project coordinator, Tori, kept me up to date on a timeline. Overall, just a great experience. I would use them again for any of my fencing needs!!!”

Vanessa Carter

“Very pleased with the entire process. From the estimate to the intall and construction of the two privacy gates. Although there was a slight scheduling and communication issue, the crew did a great job. And they cleaned up the debris and left no trash. Highly recommend this company.”

Richard Duncan

“I am very happy with the outcome of the construction/installation of my new fence! Excellent workmanship, quality product and great customer service. Bill’s Fence is easy to work with and I would definitely recommend to anyone considering a fencing project.”

Annette Holbert

“3 gates were replaced, including one double gate. We were pleased with their work.”

“Signed a contract in July for a backyard fence. Fence project began in October. I was disappointed in the request for final payment twice after sharing that the job wasn't complete (no gate) as those were the payment terms. Our contract also detailed a fence that follows the grade of the yard; so we didn't care about if it was straight at top, since it was primarily needed to keep pets and kids within a safe space. I recognize that our yard is a bit difficult in the terrain department, but it didn't seem to be an issue during the contract phase. After multiple calls, emails and follow-ups, we have a mostly functional fence in the middle of December. We've already spent nearly $100 extra to fix the gapping, and we'll need more materials to truly secure the space. The quality control manager came out after the first call, and made notes of the issues, but when the job was reworked, only one area was focused on. It did require another visit out to fix that area again since the gap was the same the second time around. The picture shows what we had after the first rework. We still have 5-6 areas that have a similar gap size, but my card was charged after the gate was installed without m”

“We started with a quote on 7/17 for a corral fence, with no financing used. By 8/1, I reached out to inquire about the status of my project. Their project coordinator informed me that I would receive a call during the week of 8/12. Unfortunately, I received no call that entire week. A recurring issue throughout the project was my having to initiate follow-up calls after missed deadlines, as they frequently failed to complete follow-ups. A word of caution: their timeline for completing the project is very relaxed. The 811 utility ticket needs to be renewed every 10 days if a job isn’t completed. After having my yard marked three times and dealing with nearly 50 utility flags, I finally received a call stating that my job would begin the next day. The employees were friendly and maintained a clean worksite. However, of the 7-8 employees at the property, only 3-4 were actively working at any given time. The project was completed on 9/20, over two months after receiving the initial quote. The lack of communication and follow-up was the biggest issue. Employees would come and go with no notification from headquarters about when they would return to finish the job. Every step of this ”

“Bills fence worked with me to get all the info for my historical commission approval. The picket fence looks perfect and they helped design it so my weenie dog doesn’t escape under or thru. Neighbors have commented how cute it is too.”

“Great to work with and they did a fantastic job on my custom railings. I believe the gentleman's name was Dale that was over the installation, he was an older gentleman but he knew what he was doing. Will recommend in the future.”

“My expectations were exceeded. Everyone that I dealt with were so friendly and professional. The fence was completed sooner than I expected and they followed up to ensure that I was satisfied. I am definitely satisfied and highly recommend Bill's Fence Co.”

Paula Handy

“I am highly satisfied with my new wooden fence. The materials used are of superior quality, and the workmanship was conducted with utmost professionalism. The scheduling process proceeded without issues, and the project was completed ahead of schedule. I appreciate the excellent customer service and the customized gates that fit precisely. I recommend Bill's Fence for all fencing requirements.”

JW GRAY

“I am in love with my new fence! Every step of the way was so easy and quick. The price was very reasonable when compared to multiple companies around, and it is exactly the style I asked for with excellent craftsmanship. The crew also did a great job of cleaning up every day after working. I appreciated the visit from quality assurance after the job was completed and how quickly any work I wanted altered (ex. aesthetics of a cap board that was a little warped and not as smooth as we'd like) or anything noticed by the inspector was repaired or replaced soon thereafter. It looks great and is incredibly sturdy. I'd recommend this company to anyone.”

“Most professional people and workers I have ever dealt with. I would give a 10 if I could. My fence is beautiful and the workmanship is a quality we don’t see these days.the builders have quality checked all the wood before they use it. No culls are used up date on fence. Just got my fabricated gate installed. You can bet it is assume”

“Still finding boards that aren’t nailed completely after2-3 months. They also bored holes in 2 sewer lines and didn’t bother to tell us. The lines are not covered under there contract but I believe they should have told us. They did a very sloppy job when cementing the posts. Be careful if you intend to use them.”

Mike Adams

“Well they finished the fence on Friday May 29th and today is June 2nd. I'm already having to file a claim on the warranty. So that should tell you something.”

Tommy Di Mattia

“I had seen the work of this company at several places around the Central Arkansas area (including the zoo and the high school where I teach) so it shot up up to the top of my list when I need to put up a fence. I’m glad I did! Great product and great service! My dogs and I are now enjoying the full extent of our backyard thanks to Bill’s Fence!”
