Stronghold Fencing & Construction

Stronghold Fencing & Construction runs fencing work out of Sugar Land, TX under Brian King. The company installs cedar and wood privacy fences along with iron fencing and handles repairs on existing structures. Their website notes a 10-year workmanship warranty on the installations they complete. Brian handles estimates and crew direction on the projects they take.

Customers have described full fence replacements on homes where posts leaned or pulled out of the ground, same-day gate additions to side and back lines, wood door repairs that restored smooth operation, and new privacy fence builds that replaced older sections. Reviewers noted that crews finished many of these jobs in a single day, used solid materials, and addressed gate problems even when the original install came from another contractor. Brian and the team also received mentions for measuring on site, issuing contracts the same day, and standing behind the work after completion.

Reviewers report that the company responds quickly for quotes, arrives on schedule, keeps communication direct through Brian, and leaves job sites clean once the work ends. Pricing came in lower than other bids in several cases while still using higher-grade materials. Service reaches the Richmond area, with crews described as punctual and willing to adjust on details like gate function to match the signed agreement.

Most of the feedback highlights consistent quality in materials and finish along with reliable follow-through from Brian and his crew, though one review mentioned a deposit problem on a separate garage project that went unresolved. “I am very pleased with this company and the work they provided for me. My new DR Horton home is only about 1.5 years old, but the back fence was coming up out of the ground leaning backwards. Mr. King came out to evaluate the situation and told me what needed to be done. They replaced the old fence with a brand new fence and it did take all day. I highly recommend The Stronghold Fencing Company for all your fencing needs.”

They came by did exact measurements gave estimate same day we agreed on price they sent contract I signed and set installation time and date Very punctual upon arrival they worked very hard to make sure everything was done to contract specifications and perfect Material quality perfect great Warranty and pricing. “We hired this company to add gates to our side and back fence. The price was reasonable, they completed the work quickly, and they did an excellent job. Later we signed a contract with them to install shelving inside of our garage. They requested an $850 deposit which we paid but they could never commit to a date to complete the work. They gave us the run arounds and kept pushing back the date. Finally, we requested to cancel and receive our deposit back --that's when the real issue began. I texted the owner (Brian) multiple times and was told that he would reach out to the company that manages the online payments/refunds to resolve the issue. I even requested that he just refund our deposit via a different method but he continued with the excuses. Finally after a couple of months, we decided to leave it alone and let God handle them. We paid the deposit 10/15/2025 and to this day, we have not received it back! We will definitely not use this company again due to shady business ethics.”
