Above All Fences, Decks & Construction

Above All Fences, Decks & Construction handles fencing work out of Tigard. They design, install and repair custom fences, decks, railings and patio covers. Specialties include cedar, chain link and ornamental iron fences along with decks in natural cedar, composite materials like Trex and TimberTech, and exotic hardwoods in the Portland Metro area. The company takes on full replacements and smaller fixes like gates or posts.

Customers call them for backyard fence replacements that match existing styles and stains, full removals of old cedar and chain link sections before new builds, deck upgrades with dry rot fixes, and railing or cover installs. Workers such as Sam, Andrew, Ivan, Mendim and Floren handle the labor, blend new sections into old ones, and finish with staining or latch adjustments when needed. Projects range from short gate repairs to long runs over 200 feet, with crews keeping neighbors informed during the work.

They answer quote requests quickly, often the same day or within 24 hours, and start jobs within a couple weeks or sooner for smaller tasks. Pricing stays competitive against other bids, communication covers changes or material issues without delays, and crews clean sites fully at the end. Service reaches across the Portland Metro with same-day options for some repairs and follow-up visits if a gate settles later.

“We highly recommend Above Above Fences, Decks & Construction for quality craftsmanship and exceptional value, plus attention to final details. Thank you, Sam, for designing the back "wall-fence"! It is perfect. Thank you Floren and Mendim for being so kind and professional. We appreciate you and feel blessed to have met each of you! 🙌 😇 Sincerely, Kim & Dave Daschel”

“The newly built fence is such a good fit for my backyard!! Samual was able to make it blend in with an existing fence on the other side of the yard. Same stain and style of fence. The workman of the company all did very professional work. Florine completed the initial fence so quickly and much sooner than I had expected. All three of the workers were easy to communicate with about little details. My neighbors are all complimenting me on this new fence. Samual coordinated the whole project and made it all happen smoothly. Such a company!! I surely would recommend this company and would use them again.”

“I had a really good experience with Sam and his crew. They removed our ancient cedar fence and installed a new one. They were personable, fast, and the communication was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them in future and would definitely recommend.”

“Above All Fences did a wonderful job on our backyard fence replacement. Andrew gave us a reasonable price, and Samuel and Mendim worked very hard on a somewhat cumbersome job. Before they could put in the new fence they had to remove approx. 200 ft of existing cedar fence, plus about the same amount of chain link fence and part of a neighbor’s wood fence (with their permission) that was attached to the chainlink. They kept us informed of what they were doing and asked questions when decisions had to be made. We were more than happy with the end result.”

“A great job done by this team! Professional, informative, kind, and did what they said they would do. We are very pleased with the results. Installers worked hard to make sure our deck and cover looks great.”

“Andrew and the team were all great to work with. Sam was in touch shortly after I requested a quote to get a time arranged. Andrew was out a couple days later and discussed a few different options with us. We received the quote within 24h and they were able to start within a couple weeks. Reasonable pricing compared with a few other quotes we got. Job was finished quickly, site was cleaned up well, and the fence looks great! They even came back out a few months later after the gate had settled to help adjust the latch. Would definitely recommend and work with again for future projects!”

“Above all fence came out to replace a fence gate, a post and a short section of fence. They provided a good estimate and they were able to come out the same day. Ivan was polite and rebuilt the fence in an afternoon. The new fence looks great. I would recommend them for future fence work.”

“TEN STARS for the fabulous attention Samuel, Mindim & the entire Crew @ Above All Fences, Decks & Construction gave our new Cable Railing @ Deck cleaning & staining! TRULY an AMAZING Experience!”

“Sam and his team did an amazing job on our fence and gate replacement, we couldn't be happier! We got our usual 3 bids, and Sam's was not only the most reasonable, it was the only one to include staining. They were easy to work with, communicative, and just all around wonderful. The fence is meticulously constructed and just gorgeous. Such an upgrade to our yard! We are beyond thrilled. If we have any work in the future we'll definitely use them, and recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“Love my new gate!!! Above All has been my “go-to” company for a long time and I have always been very pleased with the workmanship and responsiveness of the company. Adam was a miracle worker in rebuilding my big old gate recently. It looks so nice now.”

“We recently had a cedar fence installed and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The crew was friendly, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. The craftsmanship is beautiful, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. Our yard looks so much better, and the entire project was completed on time and with great attention to detail. We’d gladly recommend them to friends and neighbors.”

“Andrew and his team were really great. Our project was to replace our existing deck and repair some dry-rot, and also upgrade and extend the deck. The result was amazing and you can tell they really care and have an attention to detail. After our project got started, and the deck was progressing, we had a few additions we wanted to have added to the project and they were really flexible and willing to make those changes. Overall, I highly recommend Above All Fences, Decks & Construction and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again if we have any future projects.”

“We are very happy with our new deck! The team did a great job replacing our old, worn-out deck with a sturdy, and high-quality structure. Communication was excellent throughout the build and when an issue came up with the wrong materials being ordered they resolved it quickly with minimal downtime. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier construction work. We will definitely use them again for future home projects!”

“We contracted with Above All Construction for the replacement of our deck, and couldn’t be happier with the result. Sam’s transparency and honesty from the bid process through the completion of the project (a little over a month) gave me the assurance that we were getting the best value and quality for the price. The construction crew was friendly and respectful, and completed the project in less than three days. Amazing! When we have to replace a fence in the next year or two, I know who I’m gonna call.”

“I have now used Above all 5 times - first to install gates, then to replace each side of my yard’s old fence that came down to various storms and then to replace a fence at my rental. It was Above all’s recommendation to replace the fences as needed, rather than all at once and I really appreciate that. The team is always a pleasure to work with - quick response, quick quote and follow up. Pricing is very good - I bid out to several another companies and Above all was extremely competitive. Work is quick, quality and always cleaned up completely with only the new fence as evidence they were there. Suffice to say, I highly recommend them.”

“Had a great experience with Above All Fences, Decks & Construction. He worked on my house in Bethany and did a phenomenal job—especially on the railings. Everything came out clean, solid, and built right. He was professional, on time, and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Highly recommend.”

“Just go with these guys. After 4 quotes and research I went with Above all Fences for our entire backyard fence replacement. Reasonable pricing, good quality work. Ivan did the entire fence (286 linear ft) by himself, and is clearly a pro. The job took a day longer than expected given it was a one man show, but it was definitely worth it. Very happy with the way it turned out. Very personable and easy company to work with.”

“We had to replace our fence and I am so happy with how it turned out! The quality is excellent. I gave them an inspiration photo and they made it come to life! It’s an incredible custom fence. They also had excellent pricing.”

“Above All did a fantastic job on our fence and gate replacements. Fair price, professional, and high quality work. Highly recommend checking them out.”

“10/10 recommend! Reasonable pricing, upfront on timeline and professional. Our fence turned out better than I could have imagined. They gave us options for our gate and gave us quotes and options. So personable and easy to work with.”
