Cascade Fence & Deck

Cascade Fence & Deck handles fencing work along with decks and patio covers from its base in Tigard. Leif the owner meets customers for estimates and turns around plans quickly. The crew installs wood fences, cedar privacy styles, modern designs with steel posts, gates, deck railings, handrails, and patio covers using materials like cedar, composite, and Acrylite. They also handle repairs and rebuilds on existing structures.

Customers call on the team for new decks that open up views, full fence replacements around older homes, and custom railings with tight wire tension. Crews such as Tim, Shaun, Kamden, Blake, Matt W, Matt A, Garrett, Josh, Omar, Tyler, Corey, Jed, Levi, Camden, Tavis, and David remove old sections, set galvanized posts, and finish builds that stay solid and look clean. Reviewers note the work holds up well on large yards and complicated sites with multiple levels or curves.

The outfit stays responsive from the first call through final walk around. Estimators like Trevor and Mike walk through options and adjust designs to fit budgets without cutting material quality. Project managers check in daily on arrival times, crews finish on the promised schedule even in high heat, and they clean the site thoroughly at the end. Service reaches homes across the Portland area and nearby spots in Oregon.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a great experience with Cascade Fence & Deck! Tim, Shaun and Tim did an amazing job finishing our deck, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. They finished the project in only three days, including two days with extremely high temperatures, and they worked incredibly hard the entire time. You could really tell that they cared about doing the job right. They were meticulous, careful, and very respectful of our property. The deck looks fabulous, and they also did an amazing job cleaning everything up when they were finished. Everything was left neat and clean, which we really appreciated. It’s honestly hard to find this level of professionalism and pride in their work these days. Tim, Shaun and Tim were hardworking, professional, and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Cascade Fence & Deck, and we would absolutely use them again for any future projects. Thank you so much for the beautiful work!”

“Cascade Fence and Deck did an absolutely fantastic job!! I’m in love with it and the cedar-Doug fir McKinley design looks great. Thanks to Kamden, Blake, Matt W. and Matt A. for all their hard work! I wasn’t sure who to choose for a wood fence since there’s so many out there but I’m very happy going with Cascade! They were very professional, showed each step of the way, responsive, and very fast. Even helped remove the last old parts of my previous fence. Highly recommend!”

“When I chose Cascade Fence and Deck to install a new deck at my home in Oregon in May of 2026, it was one of four contractors I considered. I called the company initially because of it's excellent and informative website and YouTube channel. Both gave a comprehensive overview of the process and the prices. My meeting with Trevor, the estimator reinforced the impression that his company knew what it was doing and its workers were unlikely to get flummoxed even by a complicated installation. The process moved efficiently and quickly. I was very happy with Tavis, the project manager and the exceedingly agreeable installers, Garrett and Josh, who called in every day with their arrival time and kept me up to date every step of the way. I am very happy with my new deck and highly recommend Cascade.”

“Did a great job on building our deck. In fact it turned out better than we expected. The job started when scheduled with Michael and Jonathan staying on task until it was done. Great guys to interact with; were able to make small adjustments when requested; and were able to answer any of our questions.”

“We have amazing views of Mt. Hood and the Gorge, but our old railing blocked much of it. When we rebuilt the deck, we wanted something that would truly preserve the view. After a lot of research, Cascade Fence and Deck stood out. Jed helped dial in the design, and the install team (Matt, Matt, and Justin) did outstanding work—professional, detail-oriented, and precise. They even spent extra time fine-tuning the wire tension. The finished railing is barely visible and the view is now front and center. Exactly what we wanted.”

“We just had Cascade install a cedar privacy fence around our 1908 home in NE Portland and we couldn’t be happier. From start to finish, the communication was seamless — Garrett and Josh were responsive, easy to work with, and made the whole process feel effortless on our end. The quality of the build is excellent. Galvanized steel posts, tight-knot cedar cap and fascia, aluminum ring-shank nails — they clearly don’t cut corners on materials. The fence looks beautiful and feels incredibly solid. If you’re on the fence (pun intended 😄) about which company to hire, don’t overthink it. Cascade does exactly what they say they’re going to do, and they do it well. Highly recommend!”

“We just had a very large fence installed. It’s modern and beautiful. It is such an upgrade to our home. This was our second time having a project completed by Cascade Deck & Fence. The entire process was streamlined and so organized. Tyler, Corey, Kamden and Blake were so communicative and able to work with us to accommodate some specific requests. I would absolutely recommend this team if you want quality work and a fence that will last.”

“Omar took a lot of pride in his work building our fence. He was very detailed and had a lot of respect for our property, making sure everything was cleaned up and that we were very happy with the fence. If there's one thing that describes him, he built the fence it like it was his own fence. When we need our next fencing project done, we will ask for Omar. If we were to rate Omar, it would be A++. Thank you very much, Jeff and Sue Ann Davis.”

“We were very impressed with Cascade Fence & Deck's professionalism from estimate to final walk around. Our replacement deck was completed on time and budget. The crew's attention to detail was much appreciated. We had two contract add-ons that we felt were fairly priced and also completed within the original time estimate, meaning they worked hard.”

“The entire team, Camden Tobias Tyler and Brandon, did a great job throughout the entire process. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating making sure everything went smoothly and I had all the answers I needed. They got the job done quicker than expected and made sure everything was cleaned up excellently at the end! I would highly recommend them!”

“Cascade Fence & Deck did a fantastic job on our new decks! Mike helped us tremendously with the estimate, design and renderings for the decks. Garrett and Matt brought our decks to life with their expert craftsmanship, skills and attention to detail. Garrett and Matt were efficient, on time and always kept us up to date on their progress. We highly recommend Cascade Fence & Deck for their deck work.”

“Cascade fence and deck are the best! From my initial meeting with Tom (scheduled with most knowledgeable and friendly person on the phone ) everything went smoothly. The design that we came up with was beautiful but a little out of my Price range. Tom worked with me to get the best results possible within my budget. It did not compromise one bit on the construction Safety and the way I was treated. Blake The Project manager answered my text, phone calls, and emails in a very timely manner. No question was considered stupid. They treated me with upmost respect, The work that they did was exemplary the deck is beautiful. Omar, Corey Josh and Garrett were just the best Omar was with us for the entire project and always communicated everything with me. It was obvious He has excellent leadership skills as I watched him work with Garret for the 2 days he was here. Corey and Josh were here one day each and each one had their own supervisory skills -a testament to the ongoing training Cascade gives its employees. They text when they were coming they did what they said they would do. I was able to watch the construction happen. They explained everything to me every question I had. I was a”

“cascade installed a new handrail on our walkway. There were multiple levels and curves involved. They did a beautiful job, solidly built and elegantly subtle. I am very impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by the entire team. Their pricing was competitive but the service and communication went far and above the other companies I spoke with. Definitely my go to team from now on!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the deck built for us by Cascade Fence & Deck. The entire process from initial site visits, to back-and-forths on the design, to the ultimate construction was very smooth — they made it easy for us. Every single person we interacted with was pleasant to work with and extremely professional, and Matt and Garrett who did the construction did excellent quality work with meticulous attention to detail. We’ll definitely go back next time we have a project like this!”

“We would give SIX stars if that was an option! We were impressed with this company from our initial deck estimate visit with Steffan throughout the entire experience! We choose the Flexible Scheduling Option for our new deck. We were promised it would be completed before Christmas, and it was! This company was very responsive to our communications. Tavis came out to double check our wishes and finalize the project. We had a very hardworking team led by Kyle. It took four full days to complete our deck. The team of Jed, Levi, and Camden did great work and cleaned up all their mess. We would highly recommend this company! We hope to use them again for fencing in the future. Jack and Kathi Liebenthal”

“I had a great experience with the Cascade crew. From our salesperson, Kamden, to our project manager, Jed, everyone was patient and helpful with the changes to our project. The entire communication process went smoothly. Jonathan and Lance also did a great job. The work was completed on time and with great attention to detail. We will definitely continue working with Cascade in the future when needed. Thank you again!”

“I was very impressed from the beginning. Leif the owner came out and did the original estimate and had plans for me within two days, which made submitting them to my HOA a breeze. Install was a week earlier than excepted, which was amazing. David and his crew were amazing and fast! Deck install was completed in under two full days. Amazing! Super professional and personable. All the way around, it was such a great experience! Can’t recommend Cascade enough. If you have a deck or fencing project, you really need to be working with them! Thank you! Justin and Michaela”

“We had an amazing experience with Cascade Fence and couldn't be happier with the results! We have a very large yard to fence, so this was a big project, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. From the initial estimate to scheduling and the installation itself, everyone we worked with was friendly, professional, and communicated incredibly well. We always knew what to expect, and the team showed up when they said they would and kept us informed throughout the project. A huge thank you to Josh, Braiden, Levi, and Matt! They worked incredibly hard, were respectful of our property, and it was obvious they take pride in the quality of their work. Even more impressive, they completed the entire project a full day ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality. Our new fence looks fantastic, and we couldn't be more pleased with the craftsmanship. We would absolutely recommend Cascade Fence to anyone looking for a quality fence built by a team that truly cares about doing the job right!”

“Super Job. All the way through. This Company communicates well, sends out the Sales Team, the Project Manger comes out and the Install-Build team knows what to do and listens to your comments and changes during the job. Very happy with the product and employees”
