Art Smart Painting & Remodeling

Art Smart Painting & Remodeling takes on flooring jobs in Allen, Texas. Bobby Lopez runs the outfit and handles installs of hardwood floors, engineered hardwood, and full-home replacements along with related fixes like matching existing trim and wood after water issues. The crew also steps in for countertops and tile work that ties into floor projects when those come up during remodels.

Customers call them for new flooring throughout a house, hardwood removal and replacement, and repairs that blend old floors with new sections after leaks or storm damage. Bobby and the team have finished bathroom and kitchen areas with matching floors, put in wine rooms, and handled accent details so the surfaces sit flat and clean. Folks note the work holds up in high-traffic spots and looks better than the samples once the job wraps.

Bobby answers texts the same day and lines up crews that show up on time, keep the site picked up each evening, and finish ahead of the quoted window in several cases. Pricing stays in line with other bids around Allen, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, and Celina with no added charges showing up later. The crew works residential properties and keeps furniture moved and protected during the process.

Reviews give the company a 4.9 rating and highlight quick responses, even color and seam work on floors, and crews that stay courteous while they finish. Repeat customers mention the same clean results on painting tie-ins and floor installs over multiple visits.

“Bobby and his team exceeded my expectations! They installed a front door and storm door, along with handling several other repairs throughout the house — all completed efficiently and with great attention to detail. What stood out most was Bobby's responsiveness; he was quick to communicate and even accommodated last-minute requests without hesitation. The quality of work speaks for itself, and the turnaround time was impressive. I will absolutely be reaching out to Bobby for future projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled contractor.”

“We have used Art Smart Painting and Remodeling several times over the years for various remodeling projects. They have done everything from major renovations to small one room projects. The quality of the work is always outstanding. We have had both interior and exterior paint done, bathroom renovations, flooring installed, and unique projects like installing a wine room. We’ve had mold damage torn out and repaired that included attic venting and the result has always been the same. They arrive on time for the job, complete the things in a timely manner and are overall a pleasure to work with from the owner, Bobby Lopez, to the contractors he employees. We highly recommend this company for all your home repair or renovation needs!”

“Bobby and his team were great! He is responsive via text in a timely manner which was great for my work schedule and trying to coordinate. He projected six weeks for a total bathroom renovation and was finished in four and a half. They cleaned up their mess behind them and fixed everything to my satisfaction! Can’t recommend Bobby and Art Smart enough!”

“Bobby walked us through every step of the kitchen remodeling process before a single cabinet was touched, which made the whole thing feel far less stressful than I expected. The crew finished on schedule and the tile work and countertops look better than anything I had pictured. Art Smart genuinely cares about getting the details right, and it shows in the finished product.”

“We had an unfortunate situation with a tree falling on our home over the 4th of July weekend. Bobby came highly recommended from a neighbor, so we contacted him and he took care of everything from the roof to the interior damage from the tree. He had the whole project wrapped up in one week. Highly recommend.”

“Art Smart handled the interior painting for our main living areas and the results were clean, sharp, and done faster than the original timeline suggested. The team was respectful of our furniture and never left a mess at the end of the day. Pricing was fair and there were no surprise charges when the invoice arrived.”

“Bobby showed up on time, answered our questions about which paint sheen would hold up best in high-traffic areas, and the finished rooms looked better than the samples suggested. Art Smart is the kind of crew I'd call again without hesitation.”

“What a great job! I had heard great things about their work and I am so glad that I chose them to change out some countertops. Not only did they do the job on budget and on time - they left everything clean. They are courteous. I will definitely put them on the top of my list whenever I have remodeling to do.”

“The team repainted the living room and two bedrooms, and the color coverage was even on the first coat in most spots, though one accent wall needed a second pass to get fully opaque. They moved the furniture carefully and put down drop cloths without being asked. Overall a solid job for a fair price.”

“As a realtor, sometimes you need some contractor help last minute before listing goes live and this is exactly what Art Smart Painting, Remodeling & Roofing did for me and my client. My client needed some texturing and painting done and they did a fantastic job. I look forward to working with them again and again!!!”

“The Art Smart team painted the whole house inside and new flooring throughout. They did a great job! They were very nice and made the whole house look like new! The cost was comparative to other bids and were able to complete the job in less time than quoted. Very easy to work with. The flooring crew and painters were very professional and courteous. Bobby has a great team.”

“Art Smart crew recently did exterior painting and repairs and some interior painting and repairs for a couple of our rooms and we are pleased. We like working with Bobby and his crew. Courteous, professional and did a great job. We will definitely keep them on our list for our next home projects.”

“We have used Bobby and his crew for multiple projects, inside our home and out. Our latest project was a big one. He replaced our roof, replaced rotten siding, and painted the entire exterior of our home. His pricing is also competitive. He offered us a free exterior paint job since we hired him as our general contractor for our insurance claim on the roof. We've also used him for a large interior paint job and for laying engineered hardwood floors. His crews are always very respectful and do a great clean up job. I especially appreciate that Bobby is so quick to address concerns. We will continue to use him for our projects.”

“Bobby and his team did a beautiful job with our recent kitchen remodel, and previously with our whole-home flooring and painting 12 years ago. Bobby is easy to work with, managing an efficient project that finished early before our event date on a tight timeline. Everyone from his team was professional and great at their work from painter, electrician, plumber, countertop installers, flooring, and design help. We love our new kitchen and are very happy to recommend Art Smart.”

“Worked with Bobby and Art Smart. Communication was great as well as the quote. His installers removed and replaced our hardwood floors and did an excellent job!”

“Another successful project finished by Art Smart. Our home had dry rot under the eaves. The repair was unnoticeable. It blended right in. They got the paint color to match. Then they replaced our gutters. We also had them restain our weathered garage doors. The crew is polite and clean. They tidied up before leaving each day. And it is always fun to talk to Bobby and Jennifer. Previously they fixed our water damage from an inside flood. I cannot even tell where the damage was. They matched the wood floor and the trim so well! Art Smart has also replaced tiles in the shower. And they mopped the whole bathroom!!! Call Art Smart they are the best.”

“I could not be more pleased with my decision to go with Bobby Lopez and his crew (Art Smart) to transform and update my home after a major water leak on the bottom floor of our house. Bobby was so easy to work with, aimed to please and put forth much time and effort in repairs and up grades. The team he has assembled were so helpful at ProSource. They really listened to my style and helped me accomplish the look I wanted. Once I made my choice to go with Art Smart, Bobby said “let’s make this house great again” and they certainly did!”

“We contracted with ArtSmart to redo the kitchen and most of two bathrooms. They did all the work efficiently and came out right on target, time-wise (7 weeks total). The finished product is beautiful, and exactly what we wanted. In that time, they had to make some extra efforts due to wiring and sheathing issues encountered along the way. We were promptly notified each time, made the call on what to do, and received a clear accounting of those extra costs in the billing later. The various workers and subcontractors were operating around my large, geriatric dogs (who couldn’t be boarded due to health issues). The team was patient with my dogs moving from one part of the house to another, and good about not leaving doors open when asked. When there were mix-ups--and there always are a few in a project of this size--Bobby quickly responded when contacted (via email in my case) and set up meetings work out a solution that would work for us. So now we have two great showers and a kitchen that is so much more functional and attractive than before, and we think the work done was well worth the money and time invested.”

“Bobby painted three accent walls and matched my existing trim without needing to buy paint. The colors he suggested pull the rooms together in a way I couldn’t figure out on my own.”

“Art Smart painting did an amazing job on my interior paint project They showed up on time and the quality of the final project exceeded my expectations thanks Again”
