Porter's Flooring America

Porter's Flooring America runs a flooring store at 7628 Eastex Fwy in Beaumont, Texas. They stock carpet, tile, laminate, luxury vinyl, hardwood and related supplies while handling kitchen and bath design work. The business also takes on installation for those materials and works with both homeowners and commercial customers on projects like backsplashes and bathroom updates. Staff includes people such as Stephanie on design and Brandon as owner.

Homeowners describe tile jobs in new construction where the work produced cracking tiles, crumbling grout and gaps around trim that required repeated visits without a full fix. Other jobs covered quartz on kitchen islands and bathrooms completed by Eduardo with clean results, plus help locating discontinued Daltile pieces through supplier calls and on-site searches. Reviewers also mention fireplace tile replacements, full flooring installs, countertops and backsplash work where the materials arrived intact and on time.

The store keeps weekday hours from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon. Deliveries drop material on the ground when no dock is available, and staff handles searches for specific items even when it means checking multiple sources. Pricing comes up in reviews as competitive on some orders with quick turnaround, though one account noted a final bill stayed at the quoted amount despite fewer trips than expected.

The Google rating sits at 4.6 with no reviews tallied there. Topics that repeat include helpful staff such as Stephanie and Brandon, a large selection of products, and solid results on design and install jobs alongside scattered notes on quote handling and follow-up repairs.

“Would not recommend this company and they do not stand by there work unfortunately. We got stuck using them because camellia Homes in beaumont texas uses them to do their flooring work. They laid the tile in my new construction home and had nothing but problems from day one with the workmanship of the tile and grout. The tile are cracking and the grout is crumbling and have big gaps all the way around the trim. We had them come out multiple times and all they wanna do is put a band aid on it and not fix it the correct way to get you pass there warranty date.”

“Had Quartz put on my island last year, just perfect. Eduardo, the installer, did a fantastic job. Had same Quartz put in my 2 bathrooms, just perfect!! Porters Flooring is the best!”

“Excellent experience. Extremely knowledgeable and they have a very massive selection. Very pleasant reception and customer service!”

“This business offers World Class Customer Service so if you are looking for flooring this is the spot..I Visited this Store yesterday looking to match a piece of tile for one of my commercial customers. All I had was one piece as a sample and absolutely no idea who made it but as soon as I showed her my sample she told me immediately that it was a discontinued Daltile product but it was really popular so maybe some of her suppliers still had some in stock & She called them all, searched the internet and even went into her shop and looked through every nook and cranny of the building. She was not able to sell me anything but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying. Thank you again .”

“Stephanie is the best! Thank You for making our new home beautiful, and for dealing with my indecisiveness! This is the place to go for ALL your flooring needs as well as back splash and bathroom tile!”

“We bought our first home, and we were able to get the exact tiles we needed to redo our fireplace. After checking multiple places Porter’s had the best price and the fastest delivery. All the tiles were perfectly in tacked, and the customer service was amazing. I’ll add some pictures. You guys allowed us to make our home ours.”

“Tile work was excellent however, be careful with the quote! While we were told the end amount of the job could be less if the number of trips required was less that was not how they handled the final bill. They charged us the quote amount despite the fact that the job ended up requiring less time and trips. Was told that was what the installer expected so that was what we had to pay. Poor business practices, but excellent tile work.”

“I can’t say enough good about this place! Their customer service is excellent and we are really VERY happy with our flooring, countertops and backsplash. Stephanie was my lead design consultant and she and others there worked closely with me to make my vision a reality in our new rustic modern cabin. Any tiny issues after installation were immediately taken care of. These people really pay close attention to customer satisfaction and I recommend them highly.”

“The owner Brandon is the best... everyone here is amazing. The most helpful people ever.”

“People are nice and helpful. Went there for delivery, they don't have any dock so they unload on the ground. Existing was challenging coz of one lane was closed.”

“I already went twice to this place & all I can said is that they are very knowledgeable, prices are right & very responsible people.. planing to go for 3rd time for another project”

“Stay far away. They will lie and say anything to get your money and then once they get your money, you'll never hear from them. They do not stand behind their products or their work.”
