About

Floor Pro Network Inc handles flooring jobs out of Converse. They partner with Home Depot to put in carpet, vinyl, wood and tile across homes in the area. Shane often shows up first with samples and lines up the work while crews led by names like Ricardo, Oscar, Martín, Juan and Hugo handle the removal and install. The company also steps in for insurance restoration and post-flood fixes on kitchens, baths and staircases.

Customers describe full room carpet installs, vinyl plank jobs and wood flooring replacements after water damage. Some teams kept sites tidy and finished the work in a single day even with tight deadlines. Others left dust on furniture, thick uneven grout on tile backsplashes or cut subfloors that later caused squeaks and loose nosing. Follow-up visits happened when problems surfaced, though fixes did not always satisfy the homeowners.

Scheduling calls and updates land on time in plenty of cases, with project leads giving out cell numbers and answering questions fast. Service stretches to Austin and nearby spots through the Home Depot channel. Some customers ran into last-minute cancellations over missing materials, rude phone handling or long waits on warranty claims that left odors or squeaks unaddressed.

Reviews split between praise for clean finished floors and solid installers and complaints about messes, smells and poor communication. Google sits at 4.1 from 35 reviews while recurring notes cover both strong work ethic on certain crews and repeated service gaps. DIRT Score 3.3 from reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

“I purchased flooring with Home Depot and they used this company to have my floors installed. A team headed by a man name Ricardo installed my floors. He did an incredible job on my floors and the woman on his team that works with him kept the worksite clean. I was so very impressed with the work ethic of this team. It is hard work to be on your knees installing flooring all day and they worked incredibly well. My floors look amazing!!! I am too happy to provide this review. FPN called and stayed in contact about scheduling and following up which I appreciated. Great company! I would use them again in a heart beat!”

“I worked with FPN through HomeDepot for floor installation. They cancled my floor instalation within 24 hours of the original install date due to not having the correct carpet. They were relatively rude on the phone when asked basic questions about rescheduling and estimated time of completion. The installers were instructed to roll the carpet away from a ledge due to the amount of construction debree on the old carpet. They did not follow these instructions and ended up dumping drywall dust onto furniture and creating a large mess that they did not clean up. The job was completed and looks decent, however the process to get there was painful.”

“Do not hire these guys to tile your house. I needed a simple kitchen backsplash job & the guy left white grout all over the black tiles, he had uneven very thick grout lines, he cut & pieced tiles together that didn't fit or match the others, etc. He left a 1/4 inch gap where the corner edging was supposed to meet. It's a joke that Home Depot hires these guys to do their work. I'll give them credit for wanting to come out & try to fix their mistakes but I hired a professional crew to do it instead. Check out their reviews on Yelp for more proof.”

“Terrible customer service, particularly the warranty department. Installed carpet purchased through Home Depot in Austin. They scrapped the subfloor loosened the boards and did not tightened down the subfloor before installing the carpet over the loose subfloor. As soon as they left we realized the entire floor squeaked every step you take. My 30lbs dog made the floor squeak when she walked on it. Called Home Depot the next day to complain, referred us back to the installer. They stated issue was not covered under warranty. Asked them to work with us on the issue. They sent a guy to take photos of the carpet where the squall g occurred the worse. Request a quote for pulling up the carpet so we could tighten the floor down. They sent a guy to repair loose carpet on one of the treads, but no quote. Completely blew us off. I’ve given up on them doing anything to fix the problem and will pay to tighten down the subfloors myself. Would never use this company again.”

“My experience with FPN was very positive. Shane brought flooring samples to my home and, although there was a manufacturing defect with the first flooring delivery, Shane was very cooperative about accepting return on that flooring and agreed to bring more samples to my home. The new flooring was installed by Oscar who did a beautiful job. I couldn't be happier with my new floor. The communication was very good with this company which is a pleasant surprise these days.”

“These guys are simply fantastic. They handled the flooring aspect of my renovation following a flood in my condo. Shane, who managed the project, was extremely professional, accommodating and responsive—gave me his cell phone number and answered any questions I had right away. Martín did the removal and installation of new flooring and did an outstanding job. Everything was done quickly and the finished product was perfect and left clean and tidy. Will absolutely be my first call next time I have any flooring needs. 10/10”

“Thad and Shane from Floor Pro helped my elderly in-laws with replacing floors in their kitchen and bath after water damage. Thad was great to work with. He was always available to answer questions regarding product selection and installation. It was so nice to work with someone who would return your calls in a very timely manner. Daniel who did the actual installation was great. When an issue was noticed after the kitchen installation Daniel and Thad both said they were going to redo it because they wanted everything to be just right. I didn’t have to ask them to, they voluntarily said it was the right thing to do. The finished floors look great! I would highly recommend them if you are looking to change your flooring. It was so good to work with a company that really looks out for their customers and wants them to be completely satisfied.”

“The team was very professional and did a great job on our insurance restoration. So much so, we hired them to install more wood flooring in other parts of our home.”

Ronnie Gill

“Amazing customer service and work! We had guests coming to town and the company made sure our floors were done in one day. The team was so polite, and they worked fast. The floors are amazing, and the trim work they did was so clean. I HIGHLY recommend this company!”

“Have had a continually poor experience with FPN services. They did a carpet install a couple weeks ago and will say the worksmanship was really good. Kind employees and did a great job performing the work. The final product install looks good too. However there is an extremely foul smell that will not leave our house from the carpet and materials used. We even had the manager or owner come out and he said it was unusual for that smell to be present over a week after install. It’s now been two full weeks and it’s still very foul. We’ve even followed guidance of putting baking soda everywhere throughout our house. This has not helped but just barely after five days. The odor is still negatively affecting us. Can’t believe we spent almost $6k on just over 1k sq ft carpet replacement for this to be the result. I’m hopeful that a resolution will be met but even if it does, it’s coming at great lengths and costs that are not worth this experience. Edit: To be more exhaustive- we’ve vacuumed almost daily, at least every other day. We’ve had multiple air purifiers running all hours. We’ve had our HVAC fan also running almost non-stop. HVAC air filter was changed the day before install, coi”

“Shane's a great representative of company. Assessment and recommendations on point for the type of wooden bamboo floors we have. Samples were ordered to ensure match, only took a couple of days. Was in constant communication with us. Floors look great!”

“Shane was excellent with how he spoke and how he handled himself. Phyllis was able to understand at the age of 78 years old the information he was asking and giving. He showed the upmost respect and intelligence while getting perspective for what she wanted and would be happy with. We would love to have him Handel our business again later on down the road. We pray for more professionals like him. He deserves 10 stars if possible.”

“I had put in an order with Home Depot to do flooring in my home and put Vinyl on my staircase. FPN is a partner of Home Depot and they did both those orders in my home. I cannot thank FPN enough for everything that they did ! They were wonderful. Both crew parties gave a lot of attention to detail in their work, they cleaned up well after the work, they were nice and had a good attitude. They were competent. The supervisor Juan was great ! He visited several times while the work was ongoing, he was on top of things, he arranged for missing materials in a timely manner with Home Depot, he kept in touch with me all the time. He was great. I am very happy with the work that FPN did.”

“Great carpet install by FPN. We purchased three rooms of carpet from Home Depot which came with free installation, and FPN was the installation provider. Communications around scheduling and time of arrival were great, and very proactive. When Hugo arrived to do the flooring he was very professional and meticulous, and we ended up with three great looking rooms. A+ service, highly recommend!”

Troy Parish

“FPN carpet simply did an excellent job. The installers were courteous, careful and professional in everything they did.And the clean up was excellent! I highly recommend their services!”

“Do not recommend. I used Home Depot flooring to avoid issues with contractors. I figured a large company would have reliable installers. That is not the case. The workers they sent to install the vinyl flooring (the best at HD) were sloppy. Besides poor marksmanship, they cut my subfloor and now the stairs make noises when one walks on them. Because they cut the subfloor on the stairs, not even a month after installation, the stairs noses are coming off. Floor Pro came over twice, the first time the workers came screaming that it was the tenants fault that the stairs were falling apart because they walk on the stairs before the glue dried. That is a false statement. The tenants did go up the stairs to get their personal hygiene items as no one inform us that they couldn't walk on the stairs for 24 hrs. I had tenants stay at another property for one night. I know they were not there. First time they came back to try to repair, the workers added nails to the stair nose; however, they pop out when the stair nose moves. leaving the nails expose. They literally have to walk with a hammer hitting nails down to ensure the stairs are safe for their little kids. The stairs' nose ha”

“These people haven't even installed anything in my home yet and already major red flags from the measurement guy they sent to be rude to me in my own home. Then yesterday then calling me to schedule on a Friday @ 450pm when they know they close at 5pm and you can't call back to schedule in time. Then me leaving a voice mail complaining and them having the opertunity to call me back today Saturday when they are only open for 3 hours. But did they call back to make it right? Nope. Horrible horrible horrible customer service.”

Paul McClure

“Shane and his crew did an amazing job leveling and installing my floors! They look beautiful. I am so happy.”

“Horrible customer service and communication between them and home depot! Will NEVER go through the process of using them with home depot. Home depot says one thing they say completely different. They have rescheduled me several times and wait until the day of the install to tell me things like oh by the way we need a plumber to disconnect your stove and refrigerator. I should file an official complain with the attorney generals office for deceiving the consume.”

Shameika

“Bad seams on carpet installed, they won't return phone calls, and messages on voice mail. They don't deliver on what was stated by a Gabriel on what he would do the make us a happy customer, and we can't reach him, and we leave messages on voice mail and by letter sent no he doesn't respond. Bad reflection on Home Depot.”
