“Had Alexander’s come out back in August of 2025. The ladies in the office helped us find the flooring color we wanted. My husband also wanted a unique carpet for our theater room and OMG THEY DELIVERED. They had BINDERS of options. We were having windows installed around the same time and they were very accommodating with scheduling (the flooring and carpet arrived quick!) There was a slight issue with the floor install (miscommunication), as well as with the baseboards (needed another coat of paint), but they got it corrected quickly. Had 2 installers (one for the vinyl flooring, one for carpet) and they were both great. Arrived every morning ready to go. We are having a small shower remodeled now, and we were able to come and buy the tile and everything we needed for that project. (That tile also came in very quick.) Will definitely be back when we are ready for our next project. Thank you!”

“The folks at Alexander's did a great job in guiding me through the decision process. I wasn't completely sure what I wanted when I walked in but they made it super easy. The installation crew was amazing. I absolutely love my new flooring!”

“I had my primary bedroom recarpeted recently and am beyond pleased with the quality of the carpet and installation. Having compared products from other companies prior to getting quotes, I was very impressed with the variety of flooring Alexanders had in their showroom.”

“Doris and everyone at Alexander's Carpet One are absolutely wonderful to work with. I really loved how patient they were with me when I was picky about every detail on my project. They know their products well and will work with you to achieve your vision. I shopped many places before finding Alexander's - they are the best!”

“We could not be happier with our experience in dealing with Alexanders Carpet One Floor and Home. We had all our home flooring replaced with Luxury Vinyl Planking, a significant effort, and the installation was handled perfectly in all respects. Sales, support staff and installation technicians were always on top of planning, scheduling and executing the project and are to be commended for their professionalism. Do not hesitate to contract your flooring needs through this company, you will not be disappointed!”

“Great experience start to finish. Needed to re-carpet areas due to water leak. Arthur took measurements and provided reasonable estimate. Picked out the flooring at the showroom with plenty of help from the staff. Thank you Sandra, Lynette, Doris and the rest of the knowledgeable crew for answering all of our flooring questions. Mr. Montoya, the installer, confirmed appointment, arrived at set time and flawlessly fitted new carpet. We are presently getting the other areas ready for a new flooring upgrade. Definitely recommend Alexanders Carpet One Floor and Home!”

“The master bathroom redesign started with David and I about 4 months before hurricane Harvey destroyed my condo in Port Aransas. Since then, I've worked primarily with David, but also the rest of the crew at Alexanders to restore flooring, counters, sinks and that original bathroom project. The results are magnificent. The team is tireless and patient, as our work together has spanned 18 months, multiple changes, and endless complexity. Alexanders has the selection you want, the professional guidance you need, and the local feel without that "corporate" experience. They also show up when they say they are going to be on site, and no surprise fees. See before and after. The changes are fantastic!”

“I have worked with Alexander’s Carpet One since 2016 when they did a whole house tiling project - floors, baths, kitchen, plus carpeting in 2 bedrooms. Fantastic job! They have also tiled three outdoor porches for me and a bathroom remodel. All fabulous! So when I gutted a condo recently on North Padre Island, naturally I called Doris and her team. They were magnificent and so was the completed project - wood floors throughout, tile floors in bathrooms, total tile remodel of a shower stall and bath surround. Exquisite!!!!!! This company is the best and are my go-to group for remodeling. I totally trust them and I don’t have to watch over the job like you do with other contractors. They do perfect work every time.”

“Doris and Amanda are absolutely fantastic at what they do. Not only we got to enjoy their Exquisite taste and experience in interior design, they were both also so patient guiding my wife and I through the process of building our dream beach house. Thank you ladies.”

“You know how stressful it is to build a house? An overwhelming number of choices and for me, done remotely via phone and zoom... And then there was Doris & Amanda. These 2 ladies made the ENTIRE "paint/tile/flooring/look" process so easy for me. In fact, without them, I'm pretty sure I would have had a mental breakdown. Seriously. They embraced my poorly articulated vision and brought it to life .. They handled my zillion questions/last minute ideas with grace and humor. They reassured me when I was in the "second guessing" phase. ("Really? Do you think it'll look alright? Will that color work? I'm not sure anymore ........." In a very real sense, Doris & Amanda became not one of my all time favorite vendor - they became the heart and soul of my new home. I can't thank them both enough. You can judge the results for yourself in the pics attached.”

“I wish I could give this place 6 stars! Kim was such a sweet soul the entire process. She would call me and give updates on our order within 10 minutes of them opening. She was on her A-Game the whole time! I will definitely be using this place and recommending it to friends and family for all future flooring needs.”

“I replaced my broken ceramic tile floors and carpet with vinyl plank flooring. Alexander’s listened to my needs and provided several choices to give me the look I wanted. Alexander’s worked with my schedule and my budget. I look forward to updating my bedrooms with help from Alexander’s in 2025.”

“We just got done using Alexander’s for the purchase and install of new flooring in our home. They were by far the best price and the install crew was the best! The office staff was easy to work with and were very professional. We will use them again for other projects on our home and will be referring them out to our friends!”

“I recently replaced all the carpet in my home with Alexanders Carpet One Floor & Home, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, their service was exceptional and helpful on every level. A special shoutout to Sandra, who was incredibly attentive and truly listened to my needs. Her expertise and helpfulness made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Kudos to Sandra for her outstanding support! The installation team deserves high praise as well. They treated my home with the utmost care and respect, as if it were their own. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the installation. I highly recommend Alexanders to anyone in need of flooring services.”

“I couldn't be more please with our new shower! It is beautiful, but what I am most impressed with and thankful for was their professionalism and thoughtfulness from beginning to end. It started with David in the showroom... his knowledge of the products and guidance left us with the confidence that the end product would be beautiful. Gerald came to the house to take measurements for the quote. He took the time to explain what was going to happen and why, and I mean down to the smallest detail. Chris and Louis were so awesome! Every day they took care to clean both the inside and outside so that you hardly knew they were ever there. Chris worked hard to make sure the design was exactly what I wanted and then wrapped the job up quick. Thanks to them all for such a great experience!”

“We have done business with Alexander's before and back then the quality and service were great, just as it is today. They worked with me, were extremely patient even when I felt I was being difficult. The carpet is wonderful and I'm really happy with it. The service in office and out of office was exceptional. The gentleman that came to lay the carpet was quick and efficient, extremely respectful and knowledgeable. Overall everything was great! I highly recommend Alexander's.”

“We have not had carpeting for over 30 years in any of our homes. We decided we wanted to upgrade our dining room. I took out all the tile. We went to Alexander's Carpet One Floor and spoke with David Bell who was very knowledgeable and very professional and worked closely with us to ensure we were satisfied with our purchase. He made sure he took the time to answer all of our questions. Arthur came out and did the measurements and we had him measure some other rooms while he was here. He was very professional and offered good advice on how to get the room carpeted correctly. Gerald from the warehouse was very quick on returning phone calls and keeping us updated on our delivery date. The two installers (sorry forgot their names) that came out were very efficient and very professional and you could see that they were very experienced at their job. They were very polite and made sure everything was clean before they left. I highly recommend this store for any professional upgrade for your flooring needs.”

“They did a great job installing the carpet. Looks great and I had some painters in the house and had to reschedule and they didn’t give me any problems doing so. I would differently recommend this company to any of my friends.”

“So glad that we decided to go with Alexander's for our new floor. David was professional and helpful. He ordered samples specifically for our needs and made sure we were happy with our selection before committing. He checked in throughout the process to verify that the installation was going smoothly. Our installer, Cesar, was thorough and professional, addressing all our needs and concerns. Highly recommended all around.”
