Abr Home Improvements

ABR Home Improvements does flooring work from their base in Cypress, Texas. Ramiro runs the outfit and handles jobs that include laying tile, installing slate on porches, repairing damaged hardwood from leaks, restoring travertine, and putting down new floors in homes and outbuildings. The crew also takes on related tasks like fixing old fixtures, leveling surfaces, and redoing sections of bathrooms that involve floor removal and new tile. They cover the local area around Cypress and nearby spots in the Houston region during regular weekday hours from nine in the morning to five in the evening.

Homeowners describe fixes such as swapping out a badly worn spa tub faucet that had sat unused for decades, repairing Brazilian cherry boards after a plumbing issue, building a dormer addition with new flooring, and bringing old travertine back to a clean finish. Ramiro and the crew handled tile throughout one house and a shop, put in a double vanity setup with extra storage, and moved a toilet during a larger bath update that required tearing out floor to ceiling tile. Other jobs covered outdoor kitchens, fence builds, and leveling floors in a second home. Results showed clean work that held up and fit the existing structures without extra issues.

They answer calls and show up fast, often the next day after a visit to check the problem. Ramiro stays in touch during the job, lays out the timeline ahead of time, and sticks to the plan so there are no added costs or delays. Prices come in fair for the scope, and the same customers call back for more work over the years because the crew shows up on schedule and finishes what they start. Service stays within the Cypress and Houston area with no mention of travel outside that zone.

Reviews all rate the company at five stars. People note the solid results on floors and remodels, the steady pace, clear updates, and repeat business for both small repairs and bigger updates.

“I had a problem getting someone to replace my 25 year old badly eroded Spa tub faucet and Ramiro with ABR Home Improvement came by and clearly explained how it could be changed, quoted a very fair price and had someone come out the very next day and replaced it! They did high quality work, were very prompt, responsive and guarantee their work! I would use them for all my remodeling needs big or small! Call them first!”

“Ramiro and his multi-talented crews have done a lot of work for me at my residence. They initially did all of my tile work when I built my home & shop in Saddlebrook Acreage, and since has done multiple repair/upgrade jobs in my home & shop. They installed a double wide second floor dormer, designed & built our outdoor kitchen, installed slate flooring on my barn porch, repaired water damaged Brazilian cherry flooring (plumbing leak), built an outdoor fence for my dogs, revamped our Master Bath double vanity into a two height unit with additional storage, rehung frameless shower stall glass, and leveled and installed tile flooring throughout my son's house. At my daughters house they revamped the back wall of her great room, closing in a people door and installing a double French Door. His workers always clean up after themselves DAILY, and he always has had competitive pricing. AND he stands behind his work!! On a scale on 1 to 10 with 10 the best, I give ABR a 10++.”

“They recently restored our travertine floors and did a great job. They look like new! We have had them do many projects for us over the years (kitchen remodel, floors, patio ceiling, outdoor kitchen, pool) and we keep calling them back because we consistently get great results at a fair price. They are also always on tome and let you know ahead of time how long the project will take. No surprises from these guys. Call them.”

“This is the 2nd time we have used ABR for a bathroom remodel. They are excellent! Very professional and their work looks amazing. The 2nd time we did a larger project - a full master bath renovation, including moving the toilet back into the neighboring rooms closet and removing the floor to ceiling tile. Ramiro was very helpful in giving advice when we asked and keeping us involved when we needed to make decisions.”
