AMS Designer Floors & Interiors

AMS Designer Floors & Interiors runs flooring and interior work from their spot on Cypress Rose Hill Road in Cypress, Texas. Burhan and Maria handle the day to day from the design studio where customers pick from hardwood, carpet, laminate, tile, luxury vinyl plank and window treatments plus kitchen and bath remodel options. The business also takes on countertop installs, blind work and outdoor kitchen builds as part of larger home updates.

Reviewers describe carpet swaps in homes with uneven upstairs floors, full kitchen and bathroom upgrades that include new tile and backsplashes, custom rug cuts around floor power sources, laminate changes in bedrooms and staircases, foyer tile work and luxury vinyl plank across multiple rooms. Burhan and Maria guide selections in the studio while crews remove old materials, level surfaces and complete the installs. Other jobs include countertop replacements, motorized shade fits and laundry room remodels with added step lighting.

They meet tight deadlines by checking in directly, stay inside customer budgets without cutting corners and keep owners posted at each stage. Pricing comes in lower than several competing quotes for the same scope, and the crew works in the Cypress area with attention to details like precise measurements on shades and clean finishes on tricky layouts. Communication stays straightforward from the first visit through final walkthrough.

Reviewers give consistent top marks across more than twenty jobs for clean results on complex spaces, fair costs compared to other bids and useful help sorting through product options in the studio. Common points cover the crews staying focused and courteous plus the owners stepping in to solve issues on site.

“I have done at least 3 home and office remodeling projects with AMS Designers and I dont think i will ever work with any other contractor. Burhan and his team are very professional, deeply care about their work and quality and make sure every time that we are fully satisfied. I love that they actually have a design studio where you can sit down and see their designs and ideas. I have compared their pricing with other quotes and they price very fairly. In all honesty, I am willing to pay more to get the peace of mind that my project will be handled professionally.”

“Maria at AMS was great to work with! I ordered several carpets for an Insurance office with a Texas theme, and they were all delivered in a timely manner! She had her team finish the edges of our selections, and also do the installation. The team members were also very professional, and great work with! Maria was also very understanding with our tight deadline, and took a personal interest in making sure our order was delivered by stopping in herself! I highly recommend using AMS for your flooring needs.”

“Workman Insurance is grateful for the professional and beautiful work from Maria and AMS Designer Floors & Interiors. The handsome star rug makes our conference room presents itself right as you walk in our front door. This was a complicated situation due to a power source being located in the tile beneath the rug but not complicated for Maria & her team to tailor the rug to meet our needs. I highly recommend this company!”

“We strolled into AMS Design & Flooring thinking they would be very expensive but we were surprised that they were cheaper than other flooring places we had been. We wanted to change from carpet to laminate flooring in our bedrooms and game room / staircase. Both Maria and Burhan were a delight to work with. They guided us throughout the remodel process and showed us different kinds of flooring that was within our budget. We also changed the tiles in the foyer. The crew which came to do the work were very courteous and focused on attention to details. They did a wonderful job with the staircase. Excellent workmanship! We highly recommend AMS.”

“AMS Designer Floors & Interiors did an absolutely fantastic job installing new floors in our home. From start to finish, their work was top-notch, and the results exceeded our expectations. We needed the project completed quickly, and they delivered fast, reliable service without sacrificing quality. As new homeowners, we didn’t know much about flooring, and the team went above and beyond to guide us through the entire process. They were incredibly easy to work with—patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Their professionalism showed in every interaction and in the excellent craftsmanship of the finished floors. On top of all that, their pricing was very competitive, especially considering the high level of service and quality we received. “Recently changed our house flooring with AMS carpets. They did an amazing job in completing on time and the quality of work and product is great. Highly recommend!”

“We purchased a new house and found the standard builder upgrades to be extremely expensive. We came to AMS in order to redo many areas of the home after closing. We redid the master bathroom, our kitchen floor and backsplash, all the flooring (carpet upgrade in living room, bedrooms, and media room), and tile upgrades in the bathrooms/entry/kitchen/dining room, and added LVT in our game room and hallways. They helped us replace the floors with new tiles, carpet, and LVT (luxury vinyl tile), and I am in love with the way everything turned out! We even were able to add fun step lighting on our stairs and media room as part of the upgrades! They helped us choose the perfect carpets tiles and flooring to match our style and budget, and the installation process was quick and efficient. I love how my home looks and feels with the flooring and finishes of our choice. The before and after look of my house is truly amazing. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to transform their home!”
