“We just had our bedroom carpet removed and replaced with waterproof vinyl plank. We shopped around, but the lifetime installation warranty and included services, along with Janice's expert consultation on materials and colors, easily put this place above the others we considered. The installation team scheduled the job for 2 days but finished all three bedrooms in one. They did an excellent job and communicated well throughout the process.”

“We just had new floors installed last week. We dreaded what we thought would be another contractor nightmare. But it wasn’t. The install crew (2) worked till 6:30 almost every night. They were deliberate with daily milestones in order to meet the completion time we had been given. They moved furniture, cleaned up after themselves and fixed the little things without us having to point them out. This was a great experience. We intend to finish our home with the new floors after the first of the year…but only if we can get the same crew. I highly recommend this company.”

“Had my floors done on one side of my house with luxury vinyl planking. About 1000 square feet. The crew spread mud over the current tile floor, smoothing it out so there were no seems, put padding and then the vinyl planking. It came out excellent. I can't believe they finished in one day. They were very professional, cleaned up well and we are very satisfied with the installation.”

“Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality and Service We chose Floors of Living in League City thinking we were going with a reputable flooring company, but the experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. They made a big deal about how they would move furniture and protect our home during installation. I even provided tarps to help — but they didn’t use them. Worse, they broke three dressers in the process. The legs were bent, and one dresser no longer closes properly. If they had just told me to move the furniture myself, I gladly would have. They also left leveling mud splattered all over the walls — luckily we were repainting anyway, but it showed a total lack of care. After everything was done and we started moving things back in, we quickly noticed the floor was uneven. Chairs wobble, the refrigerator had to be jacked up awkwardly on one side, and we could still see pencil marks where cuts were made. Our kitchen island was missing finished trim that they removed and never put back. We went back to the store and spoke with Adam, the store manager, who said an inspector would come out. “We loved our experience with Floors for Living. Jay was very friendly and approachable. He helped us pick what was best for our family and matched the plans we had for the house. He came and measured and didn’t mind my daughter wanting to help. I wanted to replace the kitchen flooring and he was honest with me that it did not need to be replaced. We ended up replacing it anyway to match the rest of downstairs, but I appreciated that he was not trying to oversell me. The crew that did the floors was effecting and didn’t a great job. I expected a big mess from them removing the tiles, but I barely saw any dust from it. We plan to use Floors for Living in the future for an upstairs project.”

“I initially gave this company 5 stars because Mike and his crew were awesome. However, now 2 years later, I have to drop them down to 2 stars. I have been calling them to find out about getting a tiny area of the floor they did fixed. For some reason, it peeled. I wish to fix it now so it does not spread. I have been calling and calling only to be told that someone will call me back. As of today 1-2-2025 no one has. Good customer service should continue beyond the initial big sell! It should be continued support as needed so that the next time I want new floors, I will use them again. Right now, I will not. Thank you Mike Moody of Floors For Living. My floors look awesome and you made the whole experience/process easy. Your patience and professionalism are outstanding. Your installers were professional and respectful of my home and my time. “I recently had floors new ceramic tile floors put in in my entire house. Anne at the 19050 Gulf Freeway location was the sales person that helped me and she did an excellent job. The price was competitive but even better, the service was fantastic. I quickly got answers to questions and the install crew was professional and completed the job on time! They worked with us as we had to take up the existing tile and the cleaned up the mess extremely well. I will be going back there for any other changes or needs into the future! If your looking for new floors definitely give them a shot!”
