Floor King

Floor King runs a flooring store and installation service from their Georgetown showroom. They carry carpet, luxury vinyl plank, hardwood, tile and related materials, then handle removal of old floors plus new installs for local homes. Staff at the location include sales consultants who meet customers, take measurements, and arrange the work with their install crews.

Customers call on them to swap carpet for matching vinyl plank across bedrooms and stairs, pull up tile before laying new surfaces, or fit patterned carpet throughout multiple rooms. Heidi often handles quotes and scheduling with fast turnaround, while Nelsvic Hernandez leads crews that finish jobs in a single day and leave the space clean. Other names that come up include Lisa Carver for carpet selection, Manuel for installs, Romulo as lead on careful work, and Debbie Moore for guiding selections from start to finish.

The Georgetown spot keeps a large selection of samples on hand and staff will bring them to the house when needed. Reviewers note clear updates throughout, crews that arrive on time, and jobs completed without extra days or mess left behind. They cover the Georgetown area and nearby spots, with work often wrapped in under a week from the first visit.

Google shows a 4.9 rating from 200 reviews. People keep mentioning the same points: staff who stay in touch, install teams that work fast and neat, and results that match the rest of the house.

“Floor King Georgetown was great. We had them remove the old carpet from our stairs and second floor and match it to the LVP we have in the rest of our home. Heidi is the best! She was able to provide a quote very quickly and schedule our install within a week. She also checked in after installation to make sure we were happy with the end result. The installers did an amazing job. It looks like a completely different house. I highly recommend Floor King in Georgetown.”

“We had a great experience with Floor King from start to finish. They had a large showroom with plenty of samples, and Debbie Moore was so helpful from start to finish. She made the process as seamless as possible and communicated clearly as to what to expect along the way. Installer Nelsvic Hernandez and his crew did a fantastic job removing the tile and installing the new flooring. I’m amazed at how quickly and efficiently they tackled the job. We love the end results so much!”

“I had an awesome experience working with Heidi on selecting the carpet for our house … she worked with me on timing our order and installation. Our installer Pablo was friendly and professional. My daughter-in-law is using Floor King for their house working also with Heidi . I highly recommend !!”

“We had such a great experience with Floor King! Heidi, our sales rep, made the entire process so easy from start to finish. She was helpful, responsive, and took care of everything seamlessly. Our installer, Nelsvic, did an amazing job—he was professional, efficient, and left everything clean when he was done. There was another team member working alongside him as well, and while I didn’t catch his name, he was just as hardworking and professional. The whole process felt smooth and stress-free, and we absolutely love how our new floors turned out. Highly recommend Floor King if you’re looking to redo your floors!”

“I had an amazing experience working with Lisa Carver! She helped me find the unique look of carpet I was after, and was extremely knowledgeable. She communicated everything perfectly and made me feel at ease! Manuel and his team of installers did a phenomenal job as well, moving around 4 bedrooms of furniture, and laying a patterned carpet! Highly recommend.”

“From the moment we walked into the Georgetown Floor King we were impressed. Lisa took her time with us, had suggestions then took measurements at our home. Based upon her experience- she made some suggestions that made sense after seeing the areas to be worked on. We were a bit nervous but trusted her expertise! Communication was excellent then came installation. The 3 guys showed up right on time and didn’t waste a minute. Romulo, install lead, explained all what they would be doing and answered questions during the install. He and his team were great. They were super careful, cleaned as they worked and just plain nice guys! Before they left (8.5 hours later!) Romulo walked us through each area, gave us more opportunities to ask more questions and made sure the house was clean and everything was back in place. Floor King, Lisa and Romulo took great care of us and the flooring is fantastic!”

Fantastic job from this Floor King team!”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Debbie Moore (sales consultant) and Nelsvic Hernandez (installer)! We were instantly comfortable with and confident in Debbie's expertise. We found the multitude of flooring options impressive and the ease of doing business with Floor King just can't be beat! Nelsvic kept us "in the loop" throughout the installation which was accomplished in a single day (I would have bet they were going to need a second day to finish, but they got it done - expertly - in a single day)! The new floors look amazing and we couldn't be more pleased! Thank you, Floor King!”
