Martinez Wood Floor

Martinez Wood Floor handles flooring work from its base in Humble, Texas. Mr. Martinez runs the company and takes on installations of vinyl, laminate, engineered hardwood, ceramic and tile, and hardwood floors for new construction or renovation projects. The business also supplies wood and laminate flooring materials.

Customers describe jobs that start with tearing out old carpet or damaged ceramic and wood floors before new subfloors go down and wood look ceramic tiles or engineered hardwood replace them in living rooms, studies, stairs, and bathrooms. Gerardo handled one full downstairs swap to wood look tile along with upstairs carpet removal and new subfloor work, while Mr. Martinez fixed moisture damaged engineered wood by lifting glued boards without harming surrounding planks and matched fifteen year old floors in another home. Other jobs included adding quarter rounds, transition pieces, and even retiling a shower stall or handling a closet repair where the original builder had cut around a built in shelf.

Reviewers note the crew arrives on time, works efficiently, cleans the site daily, stays in touch on progress, and keeps prices lower than many local options. They accommodate timeline shifts, adjust when plans change, and take on extra tasks like basic plumbing if asked. The work covers homes in the Humble area with crews that include Mr. Martinez, Gerardo, and his son.

“Mr Martinez replaced my living room and study that was previously carpet and installed ceramic wood tile. He did an incredible job with both rooms and worked very efficiently. He also installed the quarter rounds and painted them for me as well as install transition pieces for the rooms. He was also much more reasonably priced than many other local vendors that do the same work. I highly recommend Martinez wood floor if you are looking to replace your flooring.”

“Took 11 months to get this. They wrote their name on our wall above our bed. Nothing was anchored, every toilet paper holder and towel rack came off day one. The landing at the bottom of the stairs is different from the top. Everything was sloppy. RUN. I would not hire these people again to take out my trash.”

“Gerardo did an excellent job with my floor renovation. He removed ceramic and wood floors downstairs and replaced with wood look ceramic tiles. He removed all my carpet and tile upstairs, installed a new subfloor and installed engineered hardwood in rooms and stairs and ceramic in bathrooms. I picked a complicated tile for the risers but he installed it beautiful. He even replaced the tile on my landing outside. He’s dependable, efficient and cleans up the job site daily.”

“Martinez did an amazing job with my flooring. He removed and replaced my old flooring and carpet. His attention to detail was outstanding. Will definitely hire him for any of my future needs.”

“After tearing out an old built in shelf rack from one of my closets I discovered that the builder had installed the hardwood floor around the built-in instead of on top of it. I had spare hardwood floor planks in storage, but since most of the boards were cut around the built in it meant some existing board that were glued down on the subfloor would need to be removed. I called Martinez flooring to see if they could handle the job and they said yes. They came out within a few days of calling and did a beautiful job - making it so you would never know the planks had been replaced. The job was reasonably priced and done cleanly and professionally. I will definitely use Martinez Wood Flooring again!”

They worked efficiently while paying close attention to detail, and the quality of their work truly shows.
