“From the initial quote to the finished project, Texas Wood Flooring Service was responsive, dependable, and always on time. Their quote was the most reasonable, and their skilled team did an excellent job. They cleared away all debris, leveled the floor, and expertly installed the tile, grout, and quarter-round, with the option of white primer or stain to match the existing woodwork. I am very pleased with my beautiful new floor and highly recommend Texas Wood Flooring Service!”

“Really awesome work! This is our first home and we were very nervous about hiring anyone to do the floors but we knew we couldn't do it by ourselves. We were replacing 814 sq ft. I reached out to Eduardo and he called almost immediately. Very knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process. I called on a Friday and they were here by the following Monday. On the first day, they came to rip up the hardwood floor. The second day they finished and put leveling down. By the third day, they finished installing the SPC floors (float installation) floors and put a new quarter round up. If you are reaching out for a quote, make sure to ask about filling the nail holes and painting the new trim. That is something I forgot to ask about and it was not included in the contract but make sure to ask about that. After they finished installing, we did a little inspection of their work and it was great! There were a few minor tweaks that I wanted fixed (related to the trim), but Eduardo had Rosa out the following day to fix them. She did a really good job and took her time fixing it. They are not super expensive but not the cheapest either. I would say in the lower-middle end as far as price”

“We called Eduardo in need of a “next day” wood floor refinishing before move in. Rose & Juan met us for a job walk through & bid. Juan senior & Juan junior showed up next morning, worked around other trades on site & finished the polyurethane after everyone left. Excellent job! See photos”

“One of our student's home flooded after Harvey and they needed new floors. I hired Texas Wood Flooring after seeing reviews. I was looking for a bilingual family owned business. These people are wonderful!!!! The communication was great, time frames were met, floors are so pretty. You won't meet a nicer family. Support local, family owned businesses!”

“You are reading the Reviews to decide who to hire. This is the company to service your floors. I called and Rosa came out the next day and gave me two competitive quotes. I decided to go with both formal dining and living floors refinished. Gerardo and his son Gerardo came out, secured the windows and walkways with plastic. They sanded, stained, and sealed the floors. They cleaned up daily and were friendly. Truly a joy to deal with during the process and payment options. Call them and you will be pleased with your decision. I highly recommend Texas Wood Flooring Service.”

“About a year ago this company installed wood floors on 2nd floor of my house; including a stair case with a custom curved first step; if your doing stairs; spend some more and get real wood treads and risers. I actually forgot to do this review; I am hiring them again today to take out all carpet, and upgrade a long term tenant occupied rental property to hard flooring. I highly recommend this company; they have soul.”

“Excellent customer service and the work they do is pretty impressive, good quality.”

“Texas Wood Flooring refinished my wood floors about 5 years back. The floors were genuine wood from the original house and had a lot of accumulated gunk. On top of that, we had other renovations going on at the same time. Eduardo and his team did a fantastic job. They helped us choose a beautiful dark color for the original red oaks, scraped and refinished the flooring. They also moved the furniture. They were on schedule and very reasonably priced. I was apprehensive while hiring them because they were a small local shop but they went above and beyond to stand behind their work. Eduardo was accessible during and after the job for any concerns I may have. After five years, my floors are still in top shape and everyone complements on how good they look. I strongly recommend this business for your wood flooring needs. They are an honest and efficient business and very pleasant to deal with.”

“Texas Wood Flooring refinished and repaired my 100 year old heart pine floors as well as tiling a laundry room in the same house. The wood floors are just stunning. They managed not only to match a portion of the floor that had been refinished, but to source some 100 square feet of a rare pine to replace rotted flooring in the bedrooms. The transition color and finish from the previously restored floor to the portion they did was flawless. Same with the replaced flooring. I honestly didn’t think it could be done. And the pricing was excellent. Eduardo was always available to answer questions and kept me informed on the job. Oh, and the tile work was beautiful. Highly recommend this company and their team.”

“Texas Wood flooring Service was very good to work with. We had hard wood floors installed in my home and they turned out beautiful. I was very happy with their service. They were also very competitive in their cost. I had another estimate and Texas Wood Flooring company was by far more reasonable in their quote for the job. All the workers were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this company for any flooring jobs.”

“Eduardo and his team are awesome. Work was done efficiently and professionally. My engineered floors look amazing, and they did a terrific job matching the stain on the staircase. They even followed up multiple times after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend Texas Wood Flooring for all your flooring needs.”

“Eduardo and his team are exceptional. I had my upstairs replaced with luxury vinyl last summer. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. Everything was done very professionally and Eduardo was always patient, courteous and helpful with the entire process. Each crew was very detailed with their work and did an outstanding job. I had my stairway carpet replaced as well, and my bathroom redone with tile. Everything looks amazing. I trust Texas Wood Flooring and look forward to hiring them again. Look no further for your tile, carpet and flooring replacement. This company is #1.”

“Very impressed with this family oriented business! We have used their high quality services for two times in a row within a year and we are grateful. Eduardo is an excellent communicator and we loved his selection of our woodtile floors. Due to the short time frame, we didn’t even have the time To see the samples, but, his recommendation worked great! Jesus came to install the floor and he did a great job as well. Later, when we noticed a couple of areas of concerns, he came back to fix it and everything went so well. I would definitely recommend and support this wonderful company to anyone who wants to consider updating their floors.”

“We had a good experience with Texas Wood Flooring Service. Their bid was competitive, when compared to the other four contractors quoting the same job. They accommodated our request to let the wood acclimate inside our air-conditioned house for a week before installation, even though this was different from their normal practice. The team who came was courteous and efficient. They leveled the floor carefully before laying the planks down, and the result was a very leveled wood floor. We asked for engineering wood on the first floor and solid wood on the third floor to match the existing look on the second floor, and the team matched the look extremely well. We added a task to sand and coat our existing wood floor in the kitchen and dining area, and the area looked much better than before. At the end we asked the team to fix a new wood trim that did not allow a bathroom door to close properly, and someone came to fix the issue properly. Considering everything we are glad that we selected Texas Wood Flooring Service.”

“I hired Texas Wood Flooring Service for a repair job on my laminate floors. I was impressed when they showed up 15 minutes early. Eduardo was very friendly and professional and performed the repair. He was fast and did an excellent job and now the floors look like new again. As an added note, he even contacted me to follow up to make sure that I was satisfied with their work. Thanks Texas Wood Flooring Service.”

“Eduardo and Rosa run an outstanding family business. They’re great people and have my total respect. I had a large area of wood flooring that had a squeak in my upstairs bedroom and they managed to fix it entirely. It went from a loud annoying squeak to silence after they fixed it. They promised they could eliminate the squeak and they delivered 100%. They also replaced damaged wood panels in my living room, varnished the entire floor and left it looking like new. They are incredibly hard working, trustworthy, and dependable. Hire them for your next flooring job, you won’t regret it.”

“I have never left a review for a place ever. The work was so good that you couldn't tell which board they replaced.”

“In a big city like Houston, it is often difficult to find the right people for work that needs to be done on your home. My home had wood flooring planks that needed replacement due to water damage and we struggled to find the right people. We were fortunate to have a friend who referred us to Texas Wood Flooring. My experience was excellent. They were professional, their estimate on timing and costs were accurate and the work was very good quality. The staining of the flooring matched our existing floor (to our surprise) as well. If we had other wood flooring needs, we would definitely work with them again. Thank you so much for the good work!”

“Eduardo and his team refinished original hardwoods in a century old duplex we remodeled, and replaced a section of flooring that we didn’t think could be matched. The floors turned out amazing and look brand new. I highly recommend Texas Wood Flooring Services for your flooring needs.”
