Rivas Flooring

Rivas Flooring takes on flooring work from its base in Lewisville, Texas. Luis runs the operation and handles projects that range from hardwood installs to vinyl plank jobs and fixes on existing floors that need attention. Reviewers describe him as the main contact who shows up to explain what needs doing and lays out choices before the crew starts.

Customers have brought them in for a three hundred square foot hardwood install, full vinyl plank replacements, and repairs on worn or uneven floors. Luis and the crew explained problems in plain terms, kept the work area tidy while they went, and finished some jobs ahead of the original schedule. Reviewers named Luis and his team for staying on schedule, cleaning up each day, and making sure the final result looked solid without extra mess left behind.

They answer calls promptly, set appointments without long waits, and stick to fair prices that reviewers called reasonable. Luis stays in touch during the job, follows through on what he says he will do, and the crew shows up on time for each day of work. The company stays local and takes on both small and repeat projects in the area.

Google lists a four point three rating from twelve reviews. Common points include the crew finishing neat, keeping communication open, and delivering solid results at a cost that felt right for the size of the job. A few callers noted trouble getting through for quotes or learning the company no longer handles certain carpet work.

“Wonderful flooring experience! Mr Rivas is professional, prompt and communicative! I highly recommend them.”

“Luis and his crew were professional and had a great work ethic. They showed pride in their work and had an attention for detail. Luis took the time to explain the job and gave us many options. They were on time, neat, and cleaned up as they went along. Luis followed though on all promises and went above and beyond! They even finished ahead of time. Highly recommend!!!”

“Luis is great! He explains the issues and is hard working. Very professional and reliable. He also cleans after himself which we can't say for many workers. We would recommend his services to anyone! Thanks for all your hard work Luis!”

“Great man to work with. Had a small 300ft hardwood floor install which isn’t a huge project but he made me feel like it was def a bigger deal than it was. Responded promptly, easy to schedule with, and his quality and professionalism is top notch. Use Rivas instead of whoever else is quoting you insanely high! Local is where it’s at!”

“I tried calling them for a quote. Mind you...I've never talked to this person before. I Googled tile/flooring companies in the area. I got like three words in and the guy hung up on me. So I called again because I thought maybe we got disconnected. The guy was super rude and hung up on me within 30 seconds. At no point was I rude or mean. I called him because I'm in a bind and I really need help to get my project done. The guy was obviously not interested in some work. Update: I received a response from them stating that I was trying to sell advertising services. This is absolutely not true. I only called to get a quote. There was no mention of any advertising. I'm not in that field at all. I was legitimately looking for someone to do a fireplace project for me. And like I said, I never got more than three words in before the guy hung up on me the first time I called. The 2nd time I called, once again, he was very rude and I responded with something to the effect of, "If this is the way you talk to your customers, then I guess you don't want any work." Something like that. In any case, there was absolutely no misunderstanding on my part.”
